It took Abbie a while to regain her senses. “If my brother can’t settle this matter, how much of an impact will it have on the Clark family?”
“Don’t worry, it will definitely be alright! If your brother can’t handle it, your best friend Valeria and her husband William will help you as well. You just have to trust me that nothing will happen.”
Abbie looked at Leonard’s handsome face. Since it could be settled so easily, why did Leonard have to tell her about this to make her so worried?

Meanwhile, in the hospital, Francis had specially arranged for four bodyguards to watch over Azalea in case someone barged in.
When a masked nurse pushed a medicine cart to the door of the ward, the bodyguard took the initiative to talk to her.

Azalea didn’t know that there was a camera in the ward and she wasn’t worried about being exposed since there were bodyguards outside, so she immediately called Francis. “Dad, the nurse just came over to give me an IV drip. I pretended to be asleep and they thought that I had been in a coma all this time, so they suggested I undergo a full body examination. I don’t think it’s wise for me to keep up my act. If the hospital really arranges an expert to check on me, they will find that I am pretending and the situation will be even more troublesome.”
Francis also felt that her act wouldn’t work anymore. “Then stop pretending.”

Although Francis recognized her as his daughter, he did not give her any benefits.
It was far from enough just because he had arranged for someone to take care of her. She wanted Francis to reveal her identity and let her live her life as the heiress of the Gurney family. Even if she was just an illegitimate daughter, it was still better than being a nobody.
Azalea would never get what she wanted as long as she couldn’t make a name for herself.
She was just waiting for Michael to publicize her relationship with Francis to make her plan a success.
As the news was still going viral on the internet, Michael rushed to William’s office in a hurry and found that Raymond was present as well.
Raymond sneered when he saw Michael. “You b*stard, what are you doing here? Are you looking for trouble? Get out, you’re not welcome here!”

Raymond snorted. “I’m here to ask your public relations team to help suppress the news about Azalea.”
“But they’ve already agreed to help him.” William pointed at Michael.
“You’re helping him? But why!? I’ll tell Valeria right away, so you can just wait and see how she’ll deal with you!”
Raymond was so angry that he wanted to complain to Valeria right away and William didn’t know how to react to this. “What’s the hurry? I still have something else to say.”
William looked at Michael and said, “I just received a video from the hospital just now. I’ll let both of you watch it now”
He played the video that recorded the scene in Azalea’s ward where she pretended to faint and called Francis.
“This b*tch! She actually…” Michael was so angry that his expression turned livid.
William sneered and said, “Hah! I told you not to act rashly and let them stir up trouble. Do you see what I mean now?”
Raymond was very angry at first, but he became happy after watching the video. “You’re really capable!”
“Are you still going to complain to Valeria?” William narrowed his eyes and asked.
Raymond scratched his head awkwardly and he didn’t answer William’s question. Instead, he urged, “That’s great! You should release this video immediately and let everyone see Azalea’s true colours.”
