The twenty days where Azalea had to stay in the hospital passed by in a flash. During this period of time, Francis would take some time out to visit Azalea every day.
Francis would bring delicious food for Azalea every time he came and he would also talk to her very nicely.

“Money is not a problem for me. We can discuss it, but I have a request.”
“What?” Meadow asked.
“I hope that you’ll treat Miss Clark better and give her a good environment to recuperate,” Francis emphasized.
“I’m already very kind to her. If you’re worried about her, you can take her home with you.”
Meadow became furious when Francis’ words repeatedly implied that she didn’t treat Azalea kindly at all.
Did Azalea, that bitch, tell Francis what happened in the Davis family? How dare she?
“How can you say that? Mrs. Davis, please pay attention to your identity. You are a woman of status, and you’ll be slandered if word got out that you abused an injured pregnant woman!”

Meadow didn’t think much of it because she thought that Francis said those words out of anger. She didn’t want to take such a good-for-nothing like Azalea home. She could have a peaceful without Azalea around, and she wouldn’t have any burdens at all.
Azalea would definitely do her best to anger Meadow and Wayne back home. She would only cause more trouble, so it would be best if she didn’t go back.
Meadow left directly with the servants empty-handedly. She then bumped into Wayne at the door, who had just come home as well.
Meadow got out of the car and went forward to greet him. She also took the chance to tell Wayne about how Francis wanted to take Azalea home with him.
Wayne frowned as he listened to Meadow’s words and his expression darkened a little. “How could you let the Gurney family take her away just like that? Why didn’t you call me and ask me about the situation?”
