Raymond looked at the wicked smile on William’s face. He was so angry that he reached out to grab the box from William’s hand. “I’ll take it back since you don’t like it.”
William reached out to block Raymond’s hand. “How can you take back a gift? Don’t you know that’s rude?”
He ordered Bobby while he spoke, “Put it away!”
“William, aren’t you too thick-skinned? Why do you have a say in everything?” Raymond glared at William.
“Don’t I have the right to do so? Why should I take it if that wasn’t the case?”
Raymond was speechless. It was impossible for him to be a match for William. He chuckled and turned his head to hold Santhos, who was in Hayden’s arms. “Grandpa, let me hug him!”
Hayden asked cautiously, “Do you know how to do it properly?”
“Who doesn’t know how to carry a child?” Raymond said as he took Santhos from Hayden and carefully held him.
Raymond was in a much better mood when he saw Santhos’ toothless smile. “Who said that he only smiles at his grandfather? He’s smiling at me right now, does he know that I’ve given him a big gift?”
Hayden snorted. “Are you trying to make fun of me, you brat?”
“How can I dare to do that?! I’m just telling the truth.” Raymond wanted to vent his frustration at William on Hayden. He was in a good mood as he held Santhos in his arms and looked at the baby carefully.
“Hey, his nose and lips look like mine.”
“What? How can you be as handsome as Santhos?” Hayden retorted.
“You’re wrong. Am I not handsome enough?” Raymond pointed at his face and asked.
“He’s really narcissistic.” Hayden snorted. “What’s the use of being handsome? You’re still single even now.”
Raymond was not angry at all. “I’ve never thought of getting married, so why would I want a girlfriend?”
“Do you dare to say that to your parents and your grandfather? They’ll definitely stab you if they heard that.”
“Why wouldn’t I dare? They’re not doesn’t want me to be their successor anyways, so I can say and do whatever I want.”
“How can you be so unrestrained? Your grandfather and I have been old friends for many years and I know his thoughts. You can try to stay single if you dare. Don’t you want the Saunders family to have descendants?”
Hayden’s words made Raymond chuckle. “Isn’t there already a successor of the Saunders family? Look at the handsome boy in my arms, we can just bring one of them home.”
Raymond often said that he wanted to take Cade or Santhos home over the past few days. Hayden pretended not to hear it, so he didn’t care much about it.
“What? It’s easy for you to say, but you can’t take the grandchildren of the Howard family as you wish. Besides, are you willing to give him all the assets of the Saunders family?”
“What’s there to be reluctant about? My grandfather said that he will allow me to stay single as long as I can bring one of the twins back to the Saunders family. I won’t marry, so all my assets will be left to him in the future.”
“Did you really say that to your grandfather?”
“Of course. Let me take Santhos back and raise him. I’ll leave all the assets of the Saunders family to him by then! If you don’t believe me, I can write a contract and ask a lawyer to legalize it!”
William sat on the sofa and sent a message with his phone. He didn’t take Raymond and Hayden’s conversation seriously at first, but he suddenly looked up when he heard Raymond’s words.
Raymond felt a chill down his back and gave William a provocative smile. “William, what do you think of my idea?”
There was a faint smile on William’s face. Before he could say anything, Hayden poked Raymond’s head and said, “Brat, are you living in your own fantasy? Do you think the Howard family lacks the money from your family?”
Raymond was unexpectedly knocked on the head by Hayden and he frowned in pain. “It hurts!”
“That’s right!” The smile on Hayden’s face disappeared instantly and he took Santhos from Raymond, “You brat, you’re not welcome here! Get lost!”
Natalie and Valeria were talking inside and they shook their head when they heard Hayden’s loud voice. “Raymond has offended your father-in-law again.”
“My brother is really good-for-nothing. He keeps saying that he wants to take Cade and Santhos away. It’s only natural for my father-in-law to get upset.”
“He’s all bark and no bite. I’ll go out and have a look.” Natalie stood up and walked out. Raymond rubbed his head and complained wrongfully, “Mom, he hit me!”
Hayden interrupted before Natalie could say anything, “It’s not that I want to hit him on purpose, but it’s because he’s being too rude.”
“What did he say?” Natalie asked with a smile.
“He said he didn’t want to get married and he wants to stay single. I got angry when I heard that, so I taught him a lesson for you.”
“Hey, do you even have a conscience? Is that what said just now?” Raymond was not convinced.
“Do you dare to say that you didn’t?”
“Yes, but…”
“But what?” Hayden quickly interrupted Raymond. “You’re Valeria’s big brother and William’s elder brother-in-law, so you’re the eldest among them. William can’t say anything to you because of your status, but I’m an elder, so I can’t just stand by and watch you go on like this. Raymond, I think that you’ve gone too far by choosing not to get married. I’m disappointed on behalf of your parents.”
William, who had been silent for a long time, said, “I’m a little disappointed as well. Why don’t you want to get married? Is it because you don’t like any of the girls around you? Your standards can’t be too high. There are so many girls around, and I’m sure there’ll be someone you like.”
“I don’t think he has high standards. There are no girls around him at all, right?” Hayden looked at Raymond kindly with a smile. “We have just recruited a group of female college students and they are all very beautiful. Let me introduce you to them!”

Natalie immediately nodded and said when she heard this, “William, I’ll leave Raymond’s marriage to you.”
“Don’t worry. I will definitely choose a suitable person for Raymond, so you can leave it to me! I will start to make preparations tomorrow.”
Raymond glared at William and he felt that there was something wrong with the smile on William’s face. Did he get himself involved in some trouble again?
