The assistant was shocked when he saw Michael’s text message. What was Michael doing to do with a hotel room and a woman?
Michael had always been clear-minded. Apart from Abbie, there was no other woman in his heart. He was not someone who had friends with benefit as well. If he sent such a message, something must have stimulated him.
The assistant knew that Michael had gone to pay respect to Abbie since the Clark family was holding a funeral for her today. He couldn’t have gotten into a fight with Richard, could he?
Richard now hated Michael so much that he would not show mercy to him. Was Michael beaten so hardly that he wanted to vent? Was that the reason why he would ask his assistant to do that?

After Meadow calmed her down, Azalea was not so mad anymore. She asked, “Where is Michael? Why isn’t he home?”
“I don’t know. He didn’t come back last night too.” Meadow suddenly remembered something after she said that. “Today, the Clark family set up a cenotaph for Abbie. Michael might have gone there, I guess?”
