Azalea was relieved after she was bailed out by the Davis family because she was very scared when she was taken to the police station. She was calm on the surface, but she was extremely nervous in her heart as she tried to hold herself together. Azalea was afraid that this matter would be exposed to the Floyd family, so she hoped that the Davis family would suppress this matter and not reveal anything to them.

Her words were too fake to be true, but Meadow didn’t expose her. “I know that you are not so vicious. Everything is meant to be and Abbie was just fated to die young.”

“You don’t have to worry about him. He’s fine and he’ll be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. By the way, Michael is still heartbroken because of what happened to Abbie. You should be patient with him if he loses his temper with you.”
Azalea immediately agreed. “Auntie, don’t worry. I will always be good to Michael.”
Michael leaned against the bed quietly in the hospital when William pushed the door open and came in. He looked up at William and smiled. “You’re here?”
William nodded and walked up to him. “How do you feel?”
“I’m much better now and I’ll be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.” Michael’s tone was very calm as if he wasn’t desperate to die just a few days ago.
“Why don’t you stay for a few more days?” William frowned because he felt that Michael was abnormally calm.
Michael answered very naturally, “I can’t wait any longer! I still have a lot of things to do.”
William stared at him for a while and said, “Leave the company to another person to handle for the time being. You need to take care of your body first because it’s your most valuable asset.”
“I’m fine.” Michael shook his head. “William, you should know everything about my family, right?”
“What do you mean?”
“My grandfather and mother spent a huge sum of money to bail Azalea out…” Michael paused for a while. “Richard and Donald must hate me so much that they want to kill me, right?”
William was silent for a while. “Michael, it’s normal for them to hate you. You don’t have to worry about this.”
“How can I ignore it? The woman I love had an accident, but my grandfather and mother openly bailed the suspect out. How can they even do that? Are they trying to force me to fall out with the Clark family?” Michael sneered.
William could only persuade him, “Even if your grandfather and mother didn’t do this, it’s impossible for Richard to get along well with you.”
“Yes, I’m the cause of all this!” Michael said softly, “In that case, I’ll drag them down with me!”
“Michael!” William frowned at Michael.
“William, we’re friends and I’ve never done anything to hurt you or Richard. Apart from this, I’ve never ever wronged him before. I know that it’s very hard for you to be stuck between me and Richard. I understand how you feel, so you don’t have to care about me and Richard in the future.”
William was unhappy. “What nonsense are you talking about?”
“You really don’t have to worry about us because I’ll handle it well. By the way, William, let’s get to the bottom of it. What’s the relationship between Azalea and Callum? You were vague the last time I asked you and didn’t tell me the truth. Now that things have become like this, you can’t continue to hide it from me anymore!”
“Azalea isn’t related to my uncle at all! They’re practically strangers!” William shook his head.
“Really? I see how it is now, hahaha!” Michael burst into laughter.
William looked at him quietly. Michael laughed crazily for a while and then spat out a sentence, “They’re not related after all!”
“Michael, you don’t have to worry about Azalea’s relationship with my uncle. She has always been insignificant, so you need to focus on the main thing now.” William reminded.
“I know. I never cared about Azalea and Callum from the very beginning because they have nothing to do with me. But my mother and my grandfather are different! They think of Azalea as a piece of treasure! How ridiculous! They planned this from the beginning and did this to me because they were thinking about the Floyd family’s property! The world is fair indeed! People like them should get bad karma and this is the retribution they deserve!”
William didn’t say anything. He and Richard knew clearly about Meadow and Wayne’s plan, but Michael had been kept in the dark. Now that Michael had guessed it, he must be very sad to know that Meadow had been so cunning to him.
After all, no one could accept if their family turned out this way.
