On the other end of the line, William quietly watched Michael make a call. When he saw Michael hanging up the phone, he asked, “Did your mom collude with Azalea to plot against you again?”
“I guess so.”
“What are you going to do then?”
“I… If Azalea went to the hospital to plot against me, she must have done something to stimulate Abbie. I must figure it out and explain it to Abbie.”
“Just an explanation?” William asked. “Michael, what you need to do is not just an explanation, but to take action to prevent such a thing from happening again.”
“You’re right. To prevent further delay, I’ll go and propose to her right away. As long as she says yes, we’ll get married immediately!”
William laughed and said, “Are you going to overseas just to marry Abbie?”
“Yes, that’s the only way that would work.”
Michael felt that his idea was very good. “William, tell me quickly, what else do I need to prepare besides the ring when I propose?”
“All girls like romantic atmosphere. You prepare a romantic venue with a ‘forever and always’ wedding ring. I think as long as Abbie loves you, she won’t reject you.”
“I’ll get proposal ring right away. I’ll leave you then.”
After Michael called Meadow, she panicked a little and immediately reported it to Wayne. “Dad, Michael knows about what happened when Azalea went to the hospital that night.”
“How did he know about this? Did you and Azalea expose yourselves?” Wayne asked.

Meadow told Wayne every detail of her conversation with Michael. He thought for a moment and said, “He probably doesn’t know what we are going to do, but since he knows that Azalea has been to the hospital, he will be on guard. It may not be easy to provoke Abbie through Azalea anymore.”
“Then what should we do next?” Meadow was worried and asked.
“Let’s wait and see how things go.” Wayne refused to talk more with Meadow. He hung up the phone and told the housekeeper, “Ask someone to keep an eye on Michael. I want all his whereabouts from now on.”
After leaving Wolf Group, Michael went straight to the largest jewelry store in B City. Hearing that he was going to choose the diamond ring, the store showed him the best diamond rings.
Michael stayed in the jewelry shop for half an hour and soon decided on a huge diamond ring. He asked the jewelry shop to engrave his name and Abbie’s, as well as the proposal date on the ring.
Of course, the jewelry store did not refuse Michael’s request. They asked the best carve master in the store to get it done, so that Michael could collect it the next day.
After paying the deposit, Michael left the jewelry store. He could get the ring the next day, so he immediately booked a plane ticket for flying abroad the next night.

It was impossible to keep Michael here anymore by pretending to be sick. The only thing he could do was to use Azalea, hoping that she would not let him down.
Early in the morning, Abbie got up and went to the garden for jogging for an hour. After returning to the villa, she took a shower and went to Helen’s room.
Helen was helped into a wheelchair by a servant. When she saw Abbie come in, she asked her with a smile, “Did you just come back from your jog?”
“Yeah, I’m hungry. Mom, let’s have breakfast.”
Abbie pushed Helen into the elevator. Downstairs, the servants had already prepared breakfast. Abbie’s eyes lit up as she looked at the Minestrone Soup on the table. “We’re having Italian food today?”
“Yeah. I’ve just hired a new chef and I heard that she’s very good in making Italian food. Try it.”
Abbie picked up a spoon and said, “Mom, although I don’t like to eat peanut and bread, you don’t have to specially hire a chef here. After all, we won’t be able to stay long before we go back, right?”
Helen smiled and said, “Are you sick of me already? If that’s the case, you can go back first.”
“No, of course not.” Abbie denied.
“You’re really not tired of me?” Helen looked at Abbie with a faint smile. “Why do I feel that you look unhappy these days with a sad face? Do you think that it’s because of my legs that you can’t really have fun here?”
“No. I just feel sorry for your leg injury. I am your good daughter, so I will be be by your side till your legs are fine.”
“Such a sweet girl!” Helen praised Abbie, but she was a little anxious. She didn’t know what was going on back home.
If she couldn’t make Abbie completely give up on Michael this time, it would be difficult to separate them in the future. She had to ask Richard about the situation.
After breakfast, Helen watched TV in the living room while Abbie went upstairs with her mobile phone. It was eight o’clock in the evening back there.
No one knew what Michael was doing. She was missing Michael when his text came in, “What are you doing, babe?”
“I just had breakfast. Wat about you?”
“I’m going to see a client then I’m going home. I’m going to see you in a few days.”
“Well, when are you going to see me?” Upon hearing that Michael would come to see her, Abbie was thrilled.

“Of course! I want something delicious. Some spicy snacks as well!”

He swore in his heart that he had to treat Abbie well without ever making her sad.
