Once Paisley got the evidence, she looked at it carefully. The doctor and the nurse’s confession was as clear as crystal. She was surprised by the sheer amount of information.
From an onlooker’s point of view, Ornard had never shown any affection for Veronica from the very beginning. From the start, he had only wanted to make use of her.
Veronica probably had feelings for Ornard. A woman who was blinded by love was a remarkable fool. That was why she had sacrificed so much for Ornard for so many years without ever doubting him.
