After Gurmisran and Paisley parted ways and returned to their home, he took the time to tell Ornard about Paisley’s request.
Ornard was so angry and scolded when he heard Gurmisran’s report, “This bitch, how dare she say that? I really want to kill her!”

Aurora sneered after listening to Ornard’s words, “Paisley is so greedy! isn’t she afraid of going over the line?”

“Then let’s do that! We should silence her by giving in to her first. Since she wants cash, we can gather some first and slowly gather the rest. Let’s buy some time and kill her when we get the chance!”
Aurora held a grudge against Paisley because of her marriage to Ornard. She wasn’t afraid of Veronica’s threat. After all, Veronica wasn’t worth getting scared of because she was already old and Aurora had a son as her backing.

Ornard frowned when he heard that. “She’s so cunning and I’m afraid that she has something up her sleeves. It’ll be useless even if I kill her because my weaknesses will eventually be revealed.”
“Should we just let her threaten us like this? She’ll definitely make another request if we agree to her this time” Aurora reminded.
“I know, and I’m trying to think of a way.”
“Why don’t we ask a handsome man to seduce Paisley? We can kill her after he gains her trust and gets all the evidence that she threatened you with!”
Ornard frowned. “All right, you don’t have to get involved in this! Your task is to keep an eye on Santhos and I’ll deal with everything else.”
Aurora sneered in her heart, but she agreed obediently to leave the study. Ornard’s eyes flashed when he saw Aurora. It was a good idea to ask a handsome guy to hook up with Paisley.
Thomas waited for more than ten minutes in the private room of the club before Callum came over. The two exchanged a few words and sat down separately before Callum smiled and said, “I came here today mainly to talk to you. Thomas looked at Callum with a smile and said, “I know what you mean. Have you heard some rumours? I like working in Floyd Group very much and I’ve never intended to leave. It won’t happen now or in the future.”
Callum came to talk to Thomas today because he heard that the Gurney family wanted Thomas to return, but the latter’s straightforwardness made Callum seem a little petty.
He reached out and patted Thomas on the shoulder. “I won’t hide it. Your ability is obvious to all and the Floyd family needs talents like you. We won’t let your potential go to waste and I’ve discussed with my father about your salary. I’ll give you a ten per cent raise and some shares. Do your best!”
The Floyd family’s shares were worth a considerable amount, so Thomas was still a little confused after he left the dinner.
