Meadow left Azalea’s ward, and she couldn’t wait to go to Wayne’s ward to report the good news. She couldn’t hide her smile when she entered the room. “Dad, I went to Azalea’s ward and persuaded Emily. She is Azalea’s birth mother and is very important to Callum. In a steakhouse in the city, Abbie handed the menu to the waiter after ordering the food. She then sent a message on her phone. “Are you nearby?”

Abbie instructed the waiter, “You can serve the food now!”
A few minutes later, Valeria pushed open the door of the private room. Her belly was already pretty big, and she was no longer as nimble as before when she walked. Abbie immediately got up to help Valeria. “Slowly!”
Valeria sat down and looked at the two nannies, driver, and bodyguard who were following her. “Ms. Clark has prepared a room for you next door. Go and eat and don’t worry about Ms. Clark and me. I will call for you if there’s anything.”
The nannies and bodyguard agreed to it and went next door. The food that Abbie ordered was served. Abbie looked at Valeria’s chubby face. “You’ve gotten fatter after a few days of not seeing you.”
Valeria sighed and said, “Don’t tell me I’m fat. I’m annoyed whenever I hear the word ‘fat’ now.”
“Don’t be annoyed. Although you’re fatter than before, you look even more attractive. The feeling of a young married woman is particularly seductive. William must always be distracted, isn’t he?” Abbie teased.

Because Valeria stared at her, Abbie took out a mirror and looked at herself and was shocked. “Damn it Michael!”
Valeria laughed so hard that and Abbie’s face turned red. After a while, Valeria stopped laughing and said, “Tell me. What do you want to say?”
“Let’s talk about it after eating.”
“Let’s talk about it first. I’m afraid I’ll suffer from indigestion later.”
Valeria insisted on talking about it first, so Abbie had to say, “I want to borrow some money for an emergency.”
“Is that it? Why can’t you tell me over the phone? Why do you need to spend money and treat me to a meal?”

“How much is this big amount of money?” Valeria asked curiously.

Abbie lowered her head. “I’m borrowing money for Michael. The Davis family’s company is in trouble.”

“No, it’s my own will.” Abbie denied it.

“I only asked him when I heard that his grandfather was hospitalized. That’s what he told me.”
