Angel immediately got up and went to Callum’s office after she made up her mind. Callum just came back and he was drinking tea, but he frowned when he saw Angel coming in.
“Why don’t you stay in your office to do your work?”
Angel held back her anger and said, “Dad, I came to you to tell you something important. I just received a message and the sender wanted to tell me about her biological mother. Have a look.”
She gave the message she had received to Callum, who was stunned after he read it. Who sent it to Angel?
Callum did not believe that Emily sent it. She was completely indifferent the last time she saw Angel and she did not show any desire to recognize Angel as her daughter. Based on his understanding of Emily, she would contact him instead of sending Angel a message.
So who sent this? What did they want from this?
Callum thought in his heart, but he stayed silent. “Alright, tell me immediately if this person sends another message to you.”
Callum didn’t have any reaction and he didn’t intend to ask Angel to talk to Emily at all, so Angel had no choice but to leave.
Callum sent a message to Rammos when Angel gradually left. “Where is she now?”
Rammos replied after a few minutes, “Ms. Poland went to B City today.”
Emily must be here to visit Madelyn. Would she be in the hospital now? Should he like to go to the hospital and meet Emily by chance?
As Callum thought of this, Angel ran back to his office. “Dad, that person sent me another message.”
Callum looked at Angel’s cell phone. The second message stated, “Ms. Floyd, your mother will appear in the Wolf Group’s restaurant for dinner tonight. Do you want to come and see her?”
Callum didn’t believe that the first message was sent by Emily, but the second message made him doubt himself.
They had already said the location. If it wasn’t for Emily, who would have sent it?
Why did Emily secretly send a message to Angel? If she wanted to recognize Angel as her daughter, she would have just told him instead. Why would he refuse her request?
Could it be that Emily was worried about Fandrey and Deborah? This was the only valid reason.
Callum thought for a moment and said, “Well, I’ll go to Wolf Group with you tonight!”
Azalea sent two messages to Angel, but there was no reply. Why didn’t Angel respond at all?
Did she not intend to look for her own mother?
If Angel did not want to recognize her own mother, could Emily still be helpful to Azalea?
However, Azalea decided to wait and see when she recalled how Meadow had asked her to get closer to Emily.
Azalea had her assistant buy the fruits and pastries that Emily liked to eat.
Azalea’s apartment was extremely cluttered. Emily couldn’t stand it anymore and began to clean it as soon as she entered the house. After the apartment was cleaned up, it finally looked new and inviting.

“I’ll pay attention to it in the future, auntie. I bought you your favourite fruits and pastries.” Azalea showed the food she bought to Emily as if they were treasures.
“Thank you!” Emily looked at the grapes in Azalea’s hand and her eyes sparkled with joy.
“I’ll wash the fruits for you and we’ll go out for dinner later. I’ve booked a private room in the Wolf Group. Their food is very delicious.” Azalea said as she went to wash the fruit.
When Emily heard that Azalea had decided to let Wolf Group eat, she was a little reluctant, “That place is so expensive and you must have spent a lot of money, right? Why don’t you ask for a refund? You can just treat me to a casual meal outside.”
“No way! You’ve been so kind to me and I’ve never treated you properly. I haven’t even bought a gift for you. I’m so ashamed!”
Emily felt a sense of warmth in her heart when she heard Azalea’s words. “You can just think of me in your heart and I don’t need any gifts.”
“I know, but I want to give you presents. Let’s go shopping after dinner. I’ll buy clothes for you, okay?”
“No! I have more than enough clothes!”
“It’s a deal. Don’t refuse me, auntie. When I make a lot of money in the future, I will buy you a big house and hire a few servants to serve you and let you enjoy your life.”
Azalea said those words on purpose, but Emily didn’t know she was acting and was very touched.
Her daughter had finally grown up and she knew how to care for others.
Azalea quickly washed the fruit and brought it out. “Aunty, have a taste!”
Emily sat down and placed a cherry in her mouth with a smile on her face. These were the cherries that her daughter bought and it tasted exceptionally sweet.
Emily asked about Azalea’s work, “Is your work going well recently?”
“Not too bad, and I’ve recently picked up a few shows. Although it’s very hard, it gives me motivation,” Azalea replied and specifically mentioned Angel, “Oh right, my current work is being managed by Ms. Floyd.”
Emily was inexplicably worried when she heard that Angel was in charge of Azalea. “Is Ms. Floyd’s temper bad? Is she good to you? Did she make things difficult for you?”
“She’s alright. After all, she’s a rich young lady and she’s different from me,” Azalea said deliberately.
Emily sighed slightly. “Azalea, Ms. Floyd… You should stay away from her. If she says something bad to you, you should endure it and don’t go against her.”

Azalea made herself look so humble, which made Emily feel bad.
Angel was nothing more than an impostor that was brought into a rich and powerful family, which made Emily furious.
When Emily’s expression became grim, Azalea thought that Emily was unhappy because she spoke of Angel badly, so she immediately changed the topic, “Auntie, it’s already late, so let’s go to Wolf Group!”
Azalea had been thinking about Angel on the way to Wolf Group. She sent two messages and Angel didn’t reply, so would Angel refuse to come to Wolf Group tonight?
