Paisley knew that she had no ability to protect herself unless she gave up on the assets of Anthony family, but how could she do that?
She was nothing without the Anthony family and the only respectable thing about her was her family.
She was too prideful to do ordinary work, so she could not live a hard and simple life. Paisley found that she was really useless at that moment.
She had always relied on the Anthony family and Hardy. She didn’t want to fall into the trap laid down by Pierre and his mother. The only way she had was to save Hardy and let him keep her safe.
As long as she helped Hardy get out of prison, she would have a backup plan. But now, her father had given up Hardy so it was useless for her to ask for help. So far, she could not find anyone that was willing to help her.
If no one helped her, how could she save Hardy?
She didn’t have the power to save Hardy. Wasn’t there someone that could help her?
Paisley used her uninjured hand to pull her hair until her scalp was burning, but she still could not find a way.
When she was filled with desperation and helplessness, the phone rang.
Paisley grabbed her phone and glanced at it before answering. “Hello?”
A hoarse male voice sounded. “Ms. Anthony, it’s me! How have you been?”
“You should be very clear about my situation, right? Do you think that I can get better now?” Paisley asked.
Ornard could tell that Paisley was angry and indignant. He wanted Paisley to be upset so he could take advantage of her. Ornard sneered. “Ms. Anthony, I know what happened to you, but this is a blessing in disguise. You were miserable before, but would you be miserable forever?”
“Haha!” Paisley also laughed. “I am still very miserable now. What can I do for you?”
“I want to make a deal with you!”
“A deal?”
“Yes. I got a piece of news that Azalea was set up during the Floyd family party, but she wants to put the blame on Abbie and Valeria…”
Paisley interrupted Ornard. “Does this have anything to do with me?”
“Of course. Didn’t you and your brother become like this because of William? Don’t you want to take revenge on him?”
“What’s the relationship between Azalea and William? Don’t they have nothing to do with each other?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll tell you everything. You’ve heard that Azalea was signed as the brand spokesperson by Callum, haven’t you? You don’t know why Callum did that, right? I’ll tell you the reason today, it’s because Callum used to be a couple with Azalea’s aunt, Emily.”
Paisley said coldly, “And? It’s none of my business.”
“Don’t worry, I haven’t finished yet. Now that Azalea embarrassed herself at the party last night, the elders of the Floyd family wants to force her to terminate the contract. Callum is very angry about this because he can’t give Emily an explanation. If the blame was placed on Valeria and Abbie, Callum and William will go against each other. I know you must hate William to the extreme now. This is a good chance for you to exact revenge, isn’t it?”

“Let’s expose Azalea’s scheme at the party and slander Valeria. Callum believes that Valeria framed Azalea for Abbie’s sake, so he will definitely not let it go. Paisley was very clear that William hated Valeria being upset. If she hadn’t provoked Valeria, her arm wouldn’t have been broken.

Her father obviously favoured his sons more and Hardy was his father’s hope before this. Now that Hardy had fallen, her father would definitely support his current wife’s child. Pierre had entered the country so openly, so Paisley was in no position to make any decisions in the company.
She still didn’t know the identity of this unknown caller. Maybe he really had this capability to do that?
Paisley hoped that the mysterious caller could help Hardy.
“I can’t believe you just like this and I want to see some proof! I have done a few things for you so far, but I don’t even know who you are. This is too unfair. If you’re going to leave me after I become useless to you, then won’t I be at a disadvantage?”
“Ms. Anthony, don’t you trust me?”
“Of course, I have no reason to trust you. If you want me to continue cooperating with you, you must give me a valid reason to do so. Either you tell me your identity and let me see your sincerity, or I won’t help you.”
“Don’t you want your brother to get out of prison?” Ornard asked.
“Of course, but my brother has no chance of coming out of prison. It’s okay if you don’t tell me your identity if you help my brother get out. If you do that, I can promise you whatever you want me to do and I won’t care about your identity.”
Paisley wanted Hardy to escape from prison, but Ornard immediately refused. “It’s impossible! William will certainly keep an eye out for your brother. I can’t help him.”

It’s not that I don’t want to tell you, but there are too many things involved. I don’t want to expose myself too early.”
It meant that he didn’t believe her. Paisley sneered. “You said that I don’t trust you, but have you ever believed me? If we don’t trust each other, how can we work together? I think our top priority now is to build our trust, and I have a way to do that.”
