In the hotel, Fandrey sat in the study and was lost in his thoughts. Then, he called Callum over and said, “Angel doesn’t become like this in one day. I think she will continue to cause trouble if she stays. I think it’s better to send her back in case anything happens again. Arrange two bodyguards to send her back now.”
Callum nodded and said, “Okay, I will arrange it now.”
Deborah happened to hear the conversation between Callum and Fandrey, and she became angry of a sudden, “Why do you want to send Angel back? What exactly did she do wrong? Are you trying to get rid of her? What will the outsiders think if you send her back?”
“Mom, everyone already knows the reason anyway, why will it matters?”
“I don’t think so. If you send Angel back, Valeria will definitely be very happy. What to do if she spread something bad about Angel? How is she supposed to face everyone in the future?” Deborah retorted, “The most important thing for girls is their reputation. Anyway, I don’t agree! I will definitely not agree to send Angel back! If you want to send her away, then I will also leave with her.”
“Mom, stop messing around!”
“I’m not messing around, I’m very serious. Angel is Floyd’s family’s eldest daughter, even if she did something wrong, we’ll just have to keep an eye on her. What’s the point of sending her away like this? She will definitely feel ashamed. What if something happened to her?”
Deborah would protect Angel no matter what. Callum was speechless, Fandrey couldn’t do anything either since Deborah was his wife. He could only shake his head and sigh, “Okay, let’s talk about this later then!”
Archer happily agreed to William’s invitation to dinner at night. He took Natalie along with him to Wolf Group’s Hotel.
William arrived a few minutes later than Archer. As soon as he entered, he said apologetically, “Sorry, I’m late!”
“It’s okay, we’ve just arrived,” Archer said and glanced behind William. He didn’t see Valeria so he asked curiously, “Where’s Valeria?”
“She’s at home. She invited Abbie and Braelynn to have a hotpot dinner. Dad left the house for them and went out in order to make sure they have a good time.”
“How can Valeria do that? How can she let your dad leave the house?” Archer shook his head.
“My father is willing to spoil her. I don’t care as long as they’re both happy,” William spoke with a smile as he sat down. The manager of the restaurant came in and took their order after that, William asked the manager to serve the dishes that Archer and Natalie liked.
The manager left after taking the orders. Archer took a sip of tea and said, “Do you have something to talk to us?”
“Yes, I have something to ask you. It’s about the Saunders family.”
Archer nodded and spoke, “Go ahead, I won’t hide anything I know.”
“Does the Saunders family men have an inherited trait?” William asked.
“Yes, my grandfather, my father, me, and Raymond have a red mole on our necks. It’s said that my great grandfather also has one,” Archer then sighed, “When Savannah stole Raymond and pretended him as her child, my father and I found Raymond through the red mole on his neck. We really didn’t expect Savannah to be so shameless.”
William asked again, “If there is a red mole on someone’s neck, and then the person gone through the DNA test with one of the men of Saunders family, is it 100% that the person must be from the Saunders family?”
“Who has a red mole on the neck? And you’ve done the DNA test?” Archer was even more surprised.
Then, William told him about Thomas, “I didn’t expect to see this outcome when my father asked me to do it. It turned out that Thomas and you are related. Archer, you don’t have any siblings or nephews, do you?”
The way William asked wasn’t obvious. He did not directly ask if Gavin had an illegitimate child. Archer shook his head and said, “No! William, I know what you mean. Do you suspect that my father has an illegitimate child outside his family? I’m sure that he has no other women other than my mum, they are very in love. It’s in our genes that we are very loyal to our loved ones, it’s impossible for my father to have another child.”
“Could it be… could it be that he accidentally fell into someone else’s trap?” William asked again.
“If someone wants to frame my father, it’s impossible that nothing happened after the child was born. In my memory, my parents have always been very affectionate. My father has always been a good husband too. Not only that, all his secretaries are men in order to avoid unnecessary trouble.”
Archer was sure that it was impossible for Gavin to have an affair or be framed. William frowned after listening to what Archer said, “Then what about Thomas? Does your family has other relatives?”
Archer shook his head, “My father only had sons for three generations, it was the same when me and Raymond is born. We don’t have any cousins, there’s no single girl too. My father didn’t have any sisters. After my mother gave birth to Raelyn, my father was very happy and he loves her a lot.”
Since William couldn’t get any answers from the Saunders family, he was very disappointed, “Since I can’t find anything, I can only look up Thomas and check on his side.”
Angel was throwing tantrum when she was asked to go back to her room to reflect on herself. She was lying in bed and refused to get up for dinner.
Deborah’s heart ached. After persuading Angel for a while, she still didn’t want to eat. Therefore, Deborah had to ask Fandrey and Callum for help, “Angel refuses to get up and eat, what do you think we should do?”
Callum frowned when he heard that, “If she doesn’t want to eat, that means she’s not hungry, right? Let her starve, she’ll eat when she wakes up tomorrow.”
Deborah was taken aback when she heard Callum’s words, “What are you saying? Your child is bullied like this, her wrist has become purple. Now her family doesn’t even want to help her, don’t you know how sad she is? As her father, you don’t care about your child at all, you’re even biased towards an outsider. Are you okay?”
“Outsider? Is Valeria an outsider? She is my niece-in-law, your granddaughter-in-law,” Callum frowned and reminded Deborah.
Deborah couldn’t listen to Callum’s words, “Don’t tell me this. Let’s solve Angel’s problem first. You go to talk to her and let her get up to eat immediately, or I will call William!”
“What does this have to do with William?”
“Hah! Wasn’t he the one who caused all of this? He was the one who listened to Valeria’s nonsense and you guys scolded Angel after you listened to William. What happened later was because Angel was mad and she wanted to talk to Valeria about the matter. William is the main reason, he’s protecting Valeria too much, and he doesn’t even care about his family. I want to question if he still cares about his grandma.”
Fandrey, who was next to her, laughed mockingly when he heard this, “Hey, please stop this. Stop saying anything about family. You are not important in William’s heart at all! Not only you, but all of us don’t even matter to him!”
These words hurt quite a lot. Deborah then asked angrily, “How do you know that we don’t matter in William’s heart? Did William tell you personally?!”
