Chapter 832 Not An Accident

Book:That Stranger Lying Beside Me Published:2024-6-1

Of course, Angel wanted to deal with Valeria, however, she was not familiar with her surroundings, so she did not want to act rashly. She asked Natasya, “Do you have a plan?”
“Yes, I do! But I need your cooperation.”
“Tell me about it!”
“You can take advantage of that foolish girl, Azalea. Since they used to be in conflict, you can create an accident to let them fight against each other. The fiercer the fight, the better. You don’t have to care whether Azalea’s dead or alive, but at least Valeria will have a miscarriage. This way, you can get your revenge!”
Natasya was extremely vicious for targetting the child in Valeria’s belly.
Angel realized the fact that Natasya was trying to use her to get revenge and sneered.
She wanted to deal with Valeria, but she would not do it according to Natasya’s plan.
It wasn’t that she didn’t have Natasya’s viciousness, but that she wasn’t familiar with this place at all, and she didn’t have anyone she could use. If she exposed herself, she would be in big trouble. Therefore, she had to make an extremely good plan first before taking action to deal with Valeria.
Angel thought for a while and immediately came up with an idea. She wanted to use Azalea to give Valeria a blow, at least to let Fandrey and Deborah think that Valeria was vicious and would do anything.
Once Angel had come to a decision, she stared at Valeria and Azalea intently. Suddenly, Valeria’s phone rang and she stood up to answer the call outside. During this time, a waiter brought some soup into the private room.
Azalea and Angel were sitting together, and the waiter happened to be serving the soup in Azalea’s area. The direction Valeria was walking in happened to intersect all of this.
A flash of resentment flashed in Angel’s eyes as she put out her foot to trip Valeria as she passed by the waiter. Valeria did not expect anyone to trip her at all and stumbled onto the waiter who was holding the boiling hot soup.
The waiter also didn’t expect this sudden situation, so he fell backward into Azalea’s direction when Valeria bumped into him.
The hot soup in the waiter’s hands was about to spill onto Azalea.
Angel was very proud since Valeria would definitely be accused of hurting Azalea, and Azalea’s face would be burned.
Azalea’s scream sounded throughout the room, but it was not the kind of heart-wrenching scream.
Angel found it strange and turned her head, thinking that she would see Azalea’s face full of soup. However, that did not happen.
The soup in the waiter’s hand was not poured onto Azalea’s head. With one hand holding Valeria, and the other holding the soup, the waiter managed to stabilize himself.
The Wolf Group’s waiters went through all kinds of training and were the best of the best. They had been through many simulated emergencies, so the waiter managed to stabilize himself without causing any injuries to anyone.
However, Azalea was so frightened by the accident that she thought the soup would spill on her for sure. Even though the waiter did not spill any soup on her head, she still screamed and stood up to escape the situation.
While she was dodging, she panicked and knocked down the soup in the waiter’s hand. This time, she brought the tragedy upon herself. The boiling soup was splashed on her, and she cried and screamed in pain.
Bobby and several bodyguards heard the voice and rushed in. Their first action was to protect Valeria, and William also rushed over to pull Valeria into his arms, “Dear, did you get burned? Are you okay?”
“No! I’m not hurt! Darling, I’m fine!” She answered quickly.
He sighed in relief after hearing that she was not burnt, but he still checked her up and down. Her face was pale, but there was no trace of injury on her.
Although Azalea didn’t have the soup splash directly on her face, it still did not feel great to have it splashed all over her body.
She screamed out in pain, “Ah! It’s so hot! It hurts so much!”
“Take her to the hospital right away!” William ordered his bodyguards.
The dinner ended in a mess. Azalea was sent to the hospital urgently, and William arranged for the restaurant manager and bodyguards to follow her. After this, he was not in the mood to eat anymore.
He was worried that Valeria’s baby would be affected, so he hurriedly took her to the hospital for examination.
Callum and Thomas also went to the hospital. On the way, William kept questioning Valeria if she felt any sort of discomfort.
She was not hurt, but she found it very strange that she managed to trip and bump into the waiter.
The room was very flat, and there were no foreign objects that could trip her, so what was going on?
Did Angel do something to her? But why?
When she remembered what William told her about Angel and Natasya’s viciousness, her first suspect was Angel.
She wanted to tell William about her suspicions immediately, but Callum and Thomas were in the car, so she could not say anything in front of them.
The car soon arrived at the hospital, and Azalea was sent to the emergency room, while Valeria went to the test room.
She was doing a check-up while Callum and Thomas waited outside, and William accompanied her the whole time.
The doctor examined Valeria and told William that everything was normal so that he could rest assured.
William finally felt relieved. Valeria lowered her voice and said, “Hubby, what happened just now was not an accident.”
“I know it wasn’t an accident!” William nodded, “Angel did this to you, didn’t she?”
“I’m not sure if it’s her. I was looking at my phone and wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings when I was suddenly tripped. At that time, Angel was right next to me when I tripped and bumped into the waiter.”
“There’s no one else except her!” William’s eyes turned cold, “Remember that I told you that she had done bad things to Natasya? I won’t interfere with her dealing with Natasya since it has nothing to do with me. But it’s different if she does bad things to you!”
Valeria was a little worried when she saw William’s demeanor. She was afraid that he would do something to Angel for her sake.
“Dear, what are you going to do? No matter what, she is your cousin, and we have no evidence of this, so you should bear with it and figure out the truth before doing anything. Otherwise, there is no way to explain to your grandparents and uncle.”
“Don’t worry! As long as Angel schemes against you, I will never let her go! Remember, I don’t need to explain to anyone! For me, the child in your belly will always be the first in my heart. I will never let go of anyone who hurts you and our children!”
