Hardy and Natasya finally got off the elevator after they were done with their business. She not only planned to hook up with him but also intended to make Talitha pissed.
Hence, Natasya secretly left a red-lipped stain as well as a few strands of her hair on Hardy’s shirt just now. She just had to sit back and enjoy the show later.
Hardy deliberately turned a blind eye to whatever she did to his shirt. It was a good sign that everything was going well under his plan.
The pair eventually stepped out of the elevator after dressing up themselves. Natasya was at the front as Hardy had graciously let her enter the hotel room first.
Talitha was about to burst with anger and glanced up upon hearing the sound of the door being opened. She lowered her head in embarrassment seeing the sight of her sister. Natasya, on the other hand, was desperate to see Talitha’s reaction later.
Natasya provoked her and questioned, “Didn’t you say that you’re going for a check-up? Why are you still here then?”
“It’s none of your business!” Talitha snapped back impatiently. She suddenly realized that Natasya’s lip was bare compared to just now and her clothes were only half-buttoned. She also managed to smell an unusual scent on her sister.
Talitha was stunned and asked, “Where were you just now?”
“Why should I tell you about it?” Natasya immediately retorted.
“What’s with the language?” Talitha was irritated as she was now the main spotlight in the Anderson family. How did Natasya have the guts to talk back to her?
“This is who I am. Do you have a problem with that?” Natasya snapped back.
“Alright, that’s enough. Aren’t you girls embarrassed at yourselves?” Raelyn tried to ease the tension.
“Mummy, Natasya was the one who started it first!” Talitha furiously replied.
“Why are you pushing the blame on me? I was just very concerned since she still hasn’t gone for the checkup session. However, she has been very rude towards me and I am her elder sister. How could she not show any respect towards me at all?” Natasya retorted.
“Are you sure about that? Your tone is so arrogant and you are clearly trying to mock me!” Talitha snapped back.
“Cut it out! Are you two planning to give me a hard time? Why can other siblings be so loving towards each other but it’s the opposite for the both of you? Why do you girls keep quarreling with each other every day? I will leave you girls alone if you keep it up like this and accompany your father instead. I can then finally have a piece of mind.”
Talitha and Natasya finally stopped arguing after receiving an earful from Raelyn. Hardy initially thought that both sisters would have a big fight with each other. He then took his time and went into their suite as he did not expect things to settle down so quickly.
Talitha put on an act upon seeing the sight of Hardy, “Why are you so late? Why didn’t you pick up my phone calls? I have been waiting for you until I almost starve myself till death!”
“I’m really sorry! I was late because something urgent had come up just now,” Hardy apologized with a sincere look on his face.
“What was so urgent until you can’t even answer my calls? Do you have any idea how many times have I called you?” Talitha questioned further with an upset look on her face.
“It’s a company matter.” Hardy continued with an apologetic look, “It’s all my fault and I shall not make the same mistake from now onwards! Please don’t be upset with me, okay?”
Hardy took her hand with a guilty look and apologized to her in public. Talitha finally calmed down and said coquettishly, “Hardy, both me and our baby are very hungry right now!”
“Let me bring you out to have a nice meal. Let’s cancel the checkup session and reschedule it to tomorrow instead!” Hardy suggested with a considerate look on his face.
“Alright then! We shall eat now and only attend the checkup session tomorrow.” Talitha continued while pouting her lips, “I’m not in the mood to go to the restaurant. Call your hotel staff and have them send over my breakfast.”
“Okay! I’ll instruct them right away,” Hardy immediately arranged for someone to bring the breakfast over to their suite.
Natasya was so frustrated upon seeing the interaction between Hardy and her sister. However, there was absolutely nothing that she could do right now.
It was obvious that Hardy cared deeply about the child in Talitha’s belly. He would not be so attentive towards her if Talitha was not currently pregnant with his child.
The hotel staff was quick on their feet and breakfast was served at the speed of light. Hardy accompanied Talitha to have breakfast together at the dining table. Natasya sat in the living room with a blank face and secretly observed the couple’s interaction. Hmm? Why didn’t Talitha realize the lipstick stain and strands of hair on the collar of Hardy’s shirt?
Raelyn was so worried that Talitha and Hardy would have a big argument. She finally heaved a sigh of relief seeing the couple reconciling with each other. She then sat on the sofa and eventually realized that Natasya was indeed not being herself. Raelyn had always been very proud of her and did not expect her to do any shameful acts.
Natasya’s makeup was smudged and her clothing was in a messy condition. Raelyn was utterly curious and asked, “Natasya, where were you just now? Why is your face in such a messy situation? Why happened to your outfit?”
“It’s nothing,” Natasya replied impatiently.
“Head into your room to fix your clothing as well as your makeup. It’s impolite for you to be in such a mess when there is a guest in the house,” Raelyn advised her.
Natasya reluctantly got up and walked towards her room. She then turned around and glanced towards the direction of the dining area where the couple was sitting at. Hardy was busy feeding Talitha but she had yet to notice the lipstick and hair strands on his collar.
Why hadn’t Talitha noticed the hints when it was so obvious? Had she gone blind?
Talitha was actually aware of the lipstick stain and the strands of hair on Hardy’s collar. She had also noticed the red marks on his neck.
Talitha was about to burst into anger but she managed to suppress her emotion.
She just wanted to save herself from being a laughing stock as she had always been bullied by her sister. Talita’s efforts would all have gone down the drain if she made a huge fuss at Hardy and picked a fight with him.
She was also curious about something else. Why would Hardy still be attracted to others when Talitha was the one who poisoned him?
How did Hardy have the urge to hook up with someone else then? Talitha was determined to get ahold of the answer as this was too strange.
Talitha firstly needed to figure out who was the one that slept with him. Raymond was the one who came into her mind as he may have the answer to her question.
Devon and Raelyn were not the ones that assisted her to further her relationship with Hardy. Raymond was the one who had lent her a helping hand during tough times.
She decided to seek Raymond’s help once again. It was hopeful that he would come to know about which shameless bitch had hooked up with Hardy just now.
Talitha immediately shut the door and called Raymond after Hardy had left their suite, “Raymond, can you do me a favor?”
“Of course, just spill it,” Raymond instantly agreed.
“I just found out that Hardy is not being himself nowadays. I suspect that he is having an affair.”
Raymond was not surprised about it and replied, “What’s so astonishing about it? I have told you before that he always has several lovers at the same time.”
“No, not that! Raymond, that was all in the past. It’s not possible for him to have a lover now.”
“Why would you think so? Aren’t you aware that old habits die hard?” Raymond questioned back.
“Well… Raymond, I shall be upfront to you then. I have gotten Hardy under control as I used the blood vermin on him a while ago. He would only listen to me now.”
