They finally made up and left the bedroom while locking hands together. Bobby was sitting on the sofa in the living room with his back as straight as a soldier. Valeria had a confused look on her face and asked him, “Aren’t you tired of keeping such a sitting position every day?”
“Not at all. I’m used to it.”
Valeria suddenly had a bizarre idea and suggested, “Honey, Bobby must be feeling very lonely. How about the idea of finding him a girlfriend?”
William nodded with a smile, “I think that’s a great idea!”
“Madam Valeria, do save your effort as no one would be interested in such an unrefined man like me. Besides, I do enjoy being alone,” Bobby immediately refused her proposal.
“I don’t think so, as it’s always good to have a partner. Don’t you aspire to have a relationship like William and me?” Valeria questioned.
“To be honest, I do,” Bobby nodded in agreement.
“Well, that’s right. It means that you are also seeking love and intend to have your own family, right?”
“Erm, that’s not quite…”
Valeria interrupted him and said, “Why are you still feeling hesitant about it? Are you ashamed to strike a conversation with a woman? That’s not good and you must get rid of this bad habit.”
“Madam Valeria, not at all. It’s just that I’m an unsophisticated and a rather stern person. Women would run for their lives upon the sight of me.”
“No, you are attractive based on current standards. You have well-defined features, a well-built body and you even know martial arts. Women would go mad over you! Honey, Bobby must have not dated before as he has little chance to interact with women. How about I open a dating account application in hopes to seek his Mrs. Right?”
“That sounds good and I shall leave it to you then,” William nodded in agreement.
Valeria was very keen on this topic and continued, “I shall think about the setup of his dating profile. Abbie might even be able to lend me a helping hand.”
Bobby sprung up all of a sudden upon hearing Valeria being so serious about it and said, “Let me head down and inquire about lunch.”
William burst into laughter upon seeing Bobby running away for his life and said, “Alright honey, cut it out. You can mess around with me but leave that poor man alone. Bobby is aware of the type of woman that he is into and you don’t have to waste your effort in finding his potential partner.”
Bobby was long gone and eventually came back alongside a delivery staff of the hotel.
Valeria was starving and headed to the restaurant alongside William as it was already lunchtime.
Bobby did not follow them as he was afraid that Valeria would discuss his love life again. He had instead taken his portion of food and headed back to his room.
William shook his head and said, “Honey, do you notice that? Bobby is so afraid of you until he does not dare to have lunch with us anymore.”
“Doesn’t he have a knack in martial arts? Why would he behave so cowardly when it comes to his dating life?” Valeria muttered.
“Everyone has a sensitive spot and Bobby’s would be his dating life.”
“Okay then. I shall not bring this topic up ever again!”
The couple began to have lunch and they fed each other lovingly. The doorbell suddenly rang when they were in the midst of enjoying their alone time together.
“Who is it?” Valeria asked with a displeased look on her face.
“I don’t know. Could it be Marcus who has sent over some documents for me?” William guessed while Bobby came out of his room and opened the door.
Bobby was stunned as the person standing there was Sammuel. What was he doing here? Bobby thought to himself.
Sammuel smiled upon seeing him and said, “Hi there. I would like to have a word with William.”
Bobby hesitated for a moment before he replied, “Sir William is currently busy. Do wait here for a while and I shall notify him about your visit.”
Bobby then shut the door and informed William, “Sir William, Sammuel is here to see you.”
“Sammuel?” William questioned with a frown on his face. ‘What is he doing here? He had always called me to ask for my updates. How dare he come to visit me before notifying me beforehand?’
William finally agreed after thinking for a while, “Let him in then!”
Bobby opened the door and said, “Sir William would like you to come in!”
Sammuel was delighted upon hearing that William was kind enough to see him. He had been lingering on the ground floor for a few hours and had finally decided to see him after he had prepared himself well.
He was initially concerned that William would refuse his visit. He heaved a sigh of relief and followed Bobby into the living room and asked, “Where is William?”
“In the restaurant,” Bobby replied while Sammuel followed his gaze to have a look at William’s whereabouts.
Sammuel immediately saw William and a woman, who had her back facing against him. The pair was seated at the dining table and it was seen that William was feeding her.
Sammuel had seen Valeria making her way to find William but did not notice her departure. He assumed that she was long gone as it had already been a few hours since Sammuel last saw her. He thought that William was having lunch with another woman.
Sammuel was taken aback as he thought William was behaving like a playboy again judging by his close interaction with the woman. Sammuel froze there and shy away from his gaze at William, who was at the restaurant.
William was done feeding Valeria and noticed Sammuel, who was standing in the living room with his gaze locked on the floor. William smiled and said, “Sammuel, come over! What can I do for you?”
Sammuel did not dare to simply look around upon hearing William inviting him over. He felt that it was not the right time but it would be ridiculous to leave now. He had no choice and walk towards the entrance of the restaurant. He greeted politely, “William!”
William giggled upon seeing his awkward behavior and said, “Why do you keep staring at the floor? Come on in and have a seat!”
“Erm… but…” Sammuel stammered while walking towards William. He dared not to sit and had instead stopped his pace just a meter away from William and Valeria.
William knew what was going on in his mind. He then took a piece of tissue to clean Valeria’s mouth. “My lovely wife, do you still want to continue eating?”
Sammuel immediately took a clear look at the woman and realized it was Valeria. He froze as his visit was to ask William about his relationship with Valeria. He was feeling troubled as Valeria was here with William while enjoying lunch together. It was awkward for Sammuel to bring this topic up.
Valeria shook her head upon seeing the surprised look on Sammuel’s face and said, “Nope, I’m full already. You shall settle your business matters while I shall head out to have a stroll.”
“Okay then. I’ll ask Bobby to keep you company.”
Bobby immediately came over and said, “Mrs. Howard, this way please!”
Mrs. Howard? Did that mean she was the wife of William? But wait, William was married? How was that possible?
Sammuel was extremely surprised and continued to freeze there even after Valeria and Bobby had left to take a stroll.
William found it funny upon observing Sammuel’s reaction. He stood up and said, “It would be better to discuss things over at the study room. Let’s go!”
Sammuel followed him to the study room but was reluctant to be seated. William waved his hand and said, “Don’t worry about it. Just have a seat here.”
Sammuel finally sat down but was still feeling rather uneasy. He mustered up his courage and said, “I came here to ask you about Val…”
“You mean my wife? Did grandpa assigned you to this?”
Sammuel decided to cut straight to the chase and admitted, “Yes, Sir Hayden was taken aback after having read the news. He gave me a call and asked me about the details but I had no idea about it. Hence, I came here to enquire about your relationship with Valeria…”
William replied with a faint smile, “Valeria is my wife!
She is the daughter-in-law of the Howard family!”
