Raelyn cussed after receiving an earful from Devon. She then picked up her phone and tried to call Natasya once again but there was still no answer from her.
She was confident that Natasya would not take her own life judging by her strong character. Natasya was not the kind of person who would give up easily.
‘Why would she ignore my calls if she does not intend to do silly things? Where the hell is she?’
Natasya was indeed not intending to take her own life but was instead crying loudly in the car to ease herself from the humiliation that she had received.
Richard had told the reporters to release her chat conversation with William’s bodyguards on the internet. Her WhatsApp phone number was not being censored.
Knowing that Natasya was such a shameless girl, a huge amount of people began to call and text her number.
Her mobile phone kept ringing and had never stopped ever since.
She had received countless text messages which were critiquing and cussing her out.
Her WhatsApp had also gone mad and she had no choice but to switch off her phone.
She finally calmed down after crying her lungs out in the car.
It was the greatest humiliation that she had ever received throughout her entire life. She was well aware that her reputation had been shattered into pieces.
She knew that there was no chance for her to turn things around as William was not under her control. However, she was reluctant to surrender from this battle.
She started to point fingers at Valeria as she had brought chaos to her.
William would not have set her up if it weren’t for Valeria who was one step ahead of her.
It was all Valeria’s fault. The Anderson family had been met with trouble ever since Valeria had come into the picture.
Valeria was the root of all evil and Natasya decided to not let her off the hook. Natasya decided to give her hell since she could no longer win William over.
She had decided to seek revenge on Valeria!
Natasya was full of hatred and eventually wiped away her tears. She ignited the car engine and immediately left the estate. However, her luck was so bad that the tyre had punctured on her way back home.
She had no choice but to park her car by the roadside. She wanted to call for help but struggled to turn on her phone.
It was a blessing in disguise when she suddenly saw Hardy and Talitha’s car.
Talitha immediately informed Hardy to stop the vehicle upon seeing her sister by the roadside.
Natasya did not expect them at this hour. She would usually avoid being a laughing stock in the face of Talitha. However, she did not bother to think twice for now.
Talitha assisted and called a technician over to fix the punctured tyre. Natasya then got into Hardy’s car with a sulky look on her face.
Natasya was not prepared to face anyone yet apart from her parents. However, she was currently more concerned about her messy look. Her clothing was ripped apart in the garden and had only a piece of old jacket that belonged to the bodyguard. She was not fully exposed as the jacket was long enough to cover up her thigh.
It was all that she had on herself for now and was self-conscious about it when she got into Hardy’s car. She then lowered her head and hoped that the couple would leave her alone.
Hardy, who was taking the wheel was unexpectedly greatly interested in her.
He did not know why would he feel different upon seeing Natasya.
He had forgotten about the grudge that he held against her and felt pity upon seeing her being in a mess. He had the urge to hold Natasya in his arms and comfort her.
He was especially feeling rather intense upon seeing her legs being exposed due to the mere piece of clothing.
He wondered what was she wearing inside that oversized jacket of hers? It would be sweet heavens if he was able to unbutton her and take a closer look at her!
He suppressed his emotions and twisted a bottle of water for Natasya. “Have some water!”
Natasya initially thought he would turn a blind eye to her and put on a mockery look on his face. She did not expect Hardy to speak in a gentle tone towards her.
She was taken aback that he would let bygones be bygones. She reached out and took the water from him and their fingertips had glided through each other. She felt indifferent but Hardy’s heart had skipped a beat.
He glanced at her with a pitiful look and decided to comfort her, “Cheer up. Call it a day and head back home to have a good rest. It will all be fine the next day!”
“Thank you!” Natasya was touched by his kind words.
On the other hand, Talitha was shocked upon seeing him offer a bottle of water to Natasya. She had expected him to frown upon Natasya and would be very cold towards her.
He actually took the initiative to give Natasya a bottle of water and comforted her? His voice was so gentle and his eyes were blazing with affection towards her. What the hell was going on?
‘Was it because of me then? We are both twins and did Hardy take interest in the both of us? ‘
Wasn’t this a huge piece of joke?
Talitha hoped that her prediction was wrong but it would be awkward to talk things through at that moment. She decided to be the bigger person and would only discuss things later.
She held back her annoyance and said with a sulky tone, “Let’s head back to the hotel now! Mom must be worried sick about you!”
Hardy reignited the car engine and they continued their journey back to the hotel. Talitha was seated at the passenger seat while Natasya took the back seat. He couldn’t help but keep staring at Natasya from the rearview mirror.
He was surprisingly interested in Natasya as she was not his cup of tea last time. He felt extremely pitiful towards her and wanted to comfort her so badly.
Hardy would not have held his emotions in and hugged Natasya into his arms if it weren’t for Talitha. He wanted to comfort her to ease her pain as an attempt to brighten her day.
What was wrong with him today?
Why was his head full of unspeakable imagination today? How could he catch feelings for Talitha’s sister?
‘This is too terrifying! I need to come to my senses right now!’ Hardy thought to himself.
He tried his best to suppress his feelings and continued driving. They eventually arrived at the entrance of the Saunders Enterprises Hotel.
He subconsciously opened the car door for Natasya to get off and she was surprised by him being a gentleman. Their hands had met each other once again when Natasya got of the vehicle.
Hardy’s heart had once again skipped a beat and he could vaguely see what was beneath her clothing. His mind had gone haywire and intuitively caressed her hand.
She was stunned by his sudden flirt and swiftly withdrew her hand.
What on earth was Hardy doing? Was he trying to test the waters with me? Could it be that he was looking down on me because of the incident that happened just now? Was this his way of mocking me?
‘I was being set up by them, okay? Hardy is clearly a bastard!’ Natasya thought to herself and was pissed off at him. Her expression soon turned as cold as ice.
