Natasya was not interested in the couple’s love story and decided to get ahold of William now.
William was expected in the hall as he was the spotlight of the day. The guests eventually made their way back to the hall for the main celebration as soon as the birthday music was being heard.
Natasya wanted to sneak in but unexpectedly saw Bobby from a distance.
He stood by the staircase with his arms crossed and had a stern look on his face. She instantly felt intimidated by his presence.
It would be game over for her tonight if Bobby saw her and dragged her out of the party.
She initially planned to appear out of the blue when William was having the cake ceremony and present him the paper cranes as his birthday gift. Valeria would then be taken aback and deeply humiliated by it.
However, the plan needed to change as she could not sneak in to the hall for now.
Natasya felt displeased but concealed herself to avoid being caught. She hoped that Bobby would eventually leave the staircase area and she would then be able to sneak into the hall.
Her prayer was not being heard as Bobby stood there like a soldier on duty.
Natasya continued to hide behind the trees and waited for a perfect opportunity to arise. She was feeling increasingly agitated when she heard the merry celebrations which came from the hall area.
The custom-made birthday layer cake was displayed in the main hall. Valeria then held William’s hand and the couple stood in front of the guests.
They smiled and humbly received the birthday blessings from the guests.
Valeria placed a birthday hat on William’s head and lit the candles. The crowd then sang the birthday song together.
The couple blew the candles out together as soon as William was done making a wish.
They then cut the cake together and Valeria fed William a bite of it publicly. The atmosphere was increasingly merry and upbeat.
The ceremony had eventually come to an end. However, Natasya was feeling anxious as her plan did not work out at all and could only hide outside of the hall.
Her initial plan had gone down the drain. What should she do next?
It would be a total waste of her effort if William continued to remain in the hall.
Valeria held his arm and questioned in a deep tone after the ceremony had ended, “Honey, I remember that Natasya had sneaked into our party. Why isn’t she causing a scene? Do you happen to know where she is now?”
William chuckled and said, “She is currently outside of the hall but is eager to come in and mess things up. Why would I make her wish come true when it is my birthday party tonight? Hence, I told Bobby to guard by the staircase area to intimidate her.”
“How can we initiate our plan if she does not come into the hall? I was patiently waiting for her to make the first move,” Valeria whispered.
“Your plan is not well-rounded enough. However, don’t worry about it as I have arranged things accordingly. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show.”
“Hmm? What are you going to do?” Valeria asked with a surprised look on her face.
“You will know about it later. I initially wanted to go easy on her, but Richard said that it’s not wise to show mercy on such a despicable woman like her. I had to agree on his proposal as he wanted to seek revenge for the sake of Abbie.”
Richard held Abbie’s arm and walked towards the couple who were whispering with each other. He said, “It’s almost time for the show! How about we make a start now?”
“What about the man that you hired?” William asked.
“You do not have to worry about anything else apart from luring Natasya over. Everything is being planned to perfection!” Richard did not want to spill the beans yet.
“You are really… keeping your lips sealed.” William laughed and continued, “Alright then, I shall initiate what I am supposed to do.”
“Honey, how could I not be part of such an interesting show? I would want to head over too!” Valeria voiced out.
Abbie nodded and agreed, “Richard, I want to tag along too!”
“Don’t worry, you girls would not miss out on anything!” Richard squinted his eyes and chuckled. He then urged William again as he was also excited about it, “Alright, let’s make a move now! All of us are eager to enjoy the show!”
William smiled and nodded, “Okay, I shall leave now. You guys can come over and enjoy the drama later!”
He then marched out of the hall and left the crowd. Bobby swiftly paced towards him when he walked towards the entrance and said, “Mr. William!”
“I’m feeling a bit stuffy and would like to get some fresh air outside.”
“Okay, I’ll accompany you then!” Bobby immediately tagged along.
Natasya’s eyes lit up upon the sight of William leaving the hall. She wanted to get ahold of him immediately but was once again reluctant upon seeing Bobby’s stern look. She would be at a disadvantageous point should Bobby disrupt her plan.
She had to continue waiting as this was not the best time. She was feeling confident as William had left the hall and a better opportunity would eventually arise soon.
Natasya immediately followed William and Bobby to the garden area.
She followed them from a distance but the both of them were walking at an increasingly quick speed. They soon turned a corner and she lost sight of them.
She quickened her pace and followed their footsteps by making a turn to the corner of the garden. She then saw William and Bobby standing by the lake.
William was seen to be feeling uneasy, “My mind is all over the place. You don’t have to follow me around as I would like to have some alone time here.”
“Sir William, have you fallen ill?” Bobby asked.
“No, I’m just feeling a little uncomfortable. Do fetch me a bottle of water as I’m a bit thirsty.”
Bobby immediately agreed, “Alright, Sir William. Please wait here for a while and I will be right back.”
“Okay then!”
Natasya immediately concealed herself by the bushes nearby upon seeing Bobby making his way back as she was afraid of being seen by him.
Bobby had a serious look on his face and walked past her as he did not realize that Natasya was hiding by the bushes.
She was initially very nervous that he would find out about her. However, she was delighted as Bobby did not pay any attention to her hiding spot. Her patience had finally paid off as the perfect opportunity had emerged to spend some alone time with William.
She hid by the bushes and chuckled, but little did she know that a wry smile had crept on Bobby’s face.
Natasya was convinced that she concealed herself well when following them to the garden. She was not aware that Bobby had noticed her long ago but chose to turn a blind eye on her.
She thought that she had got everything under control and did not expect that she had fallen into their trap.
This b*tch is about to suffer the greatest humiliation throughout her entire life! Bobby thought to himself and wanted to burst out of laughter. He managed to compose himself and swiftly quickened his pace.
Natasya immediately got out of the bushes as soon as Bobby had left the garden.
She tidied herself and gracefully walked towards William, who was glancing at the lake.
William did not turn around despite hearing her footsteps and continued to stare at the lake. Natasya stood behind him and said with a loving tone, “William!”
The man who had his back facing her suddenly turned around and she realized that it was not William. Natasya was taken aback and asked the man, “Who… Who are you?”
