At the Davis family, Stanty took out his phone to call Archer again. Originally, he was not going to give in to Archer, but he could not resist Meadow anymore, so he had no choice but to give up.
Meadow repeated Michael’s words to Stanty over and over again, causing him to overthink.
He was worried that his father would scold him, so he decided to call Archer to make peace with him. However, Archer did not pick up his calls.
Stanty made a few more phone calls but no one answered. He was dumbfounded.
“What’s wrong with Archer? Why isn’t he answering my phone? Is he ignoring me on purpose? This is so infuriating!”
Hearing Stanty grumbling, Meadow, who was next to him, became even more worried, “Dear, what should we do now?”
“I don’t know!” He got up and paced around angrily. The phone rang, and his father’s serious voice came through the other end, “Have you arranged to meet with Archer yet?”
“I’m busy, so not yet.” Stanty answered guiltily.
“What are you so busy with to have no time for a call? Since you are so busy, you should share some work with your brothers. I think they are quite free.”
His words startled Stanty. He did not want to share his power with his two brothers, “Dad, I will call Archer right now.”
He snorted and hung up the phone. Stanty muttered, “I’m so angry!”
He called Archer once again, but no one picked up, so he had to call Michael, “Michael, if Archer doesn’t answer my calls, what should we do?”
“Wait a minute, let me communicate with him,” Michael replied.
The fact that Archer did not pick up his calls but was able to communicate with Michael showed that Stanty was not important for him. This made Stanty was furious, but there was nothing he could do about it.
Michael added, “I’ve made it clear that you started this. When I contact him, you know what you should do, right? You offended him first, so you should resolve it yourself!”
“I know!” Stanty replied sulkily.
Prisca muttered next to him, “Weren’t you guys on good terms before? Why is he acting differently now?”
“It’s all because of you!” Stanty was not in a good mood, “You asked me to help you vent your anger, but look what it brought me! Archer refused to give in, so I had to embarrass myself by apologizing to him. I don’t know how to face him anymore in the future!”
“I didn’t ask you to call him though!” Meadow complained.
Michael felt more and more aggravated, “Fine, I did too much this time. But don’t come to me for your problems in the future!”
After he said that, he folded his sleeves and went to the study room. Meadow snorted as she watched him leave. She felt extremely uncomfortable. because she thought that it would be a piece of cake to deal with Valeria. However, she did not expect to be scolded, not to mention, her husband was also dragged down and embarrassed because of her!
She would remember this incident and Valeria very clearly, and she decided that she would definitely plot her revenge in the future.
After William returned to his study room and sat down, Michael called him and said, “William, Archer is not answering my father’s call. Please help me get through to him. My father wants to apologize to him to solve the problem. Let him calm down and answer the phone.”
“I see. I’ll call him right away.” William immediately called Archer, and he picked up, “William!”
“Stanty called you, right?”
“Yes, he called me a lot today, but I didn’t pick up any of them,” Archer replied.
William said with a smile, “Michael just called me about it. He said that Stanty wants to apologize to you. Just give him a way out.”
“Fine, I’ll do him a favor.” Archer asked Valeria, “Is Valeria alright?”
“Yes, she’s currently baking a cake for me in the kitchen.”
Upon hearing his words, Archer immediately asked, “Grandpa wants to celebrate your birthday tomorrow. Will your father mind?”
Both Archer and Gavin were worried that Hayden was still angry, but William smiled and said, “It’s fine. Let Grandpa come over. My dad checked the invitation cards that Valeria prepared, and he didn’t object to anything. He’s probably allowing it for Valeria’s sake.”
Archer sighed in relief, “I thought your father would hate Valeria, so I didn’t expect that.”
“My dad likes her more than me now! Also, he wouldn’t embarrass her because she is pregnant.”
After Hardy was sent to the hospital for being in a coma, he was pushed into the emergency room. The doctor installed a lot of examination instruments to find the root of the cause, but they couldn’t find an explanation.
Paisley and Bevan stood at the door anxiously waiting for the result, and the former was very anxious after hearing the doctor say that he could not find out the cause of the coma.
“Why can’t you find the cause? It shouldn’t be like this. What symptoms did my brother have during the day?”
“Mr. Anthony did not show any signs of discomfort during the day. He seemed normal the whole day today,” Bevan replied.
“Then why did this happen? Why is he suddenly uncomfortable and unconscious? What did he do after work?” Paisley continued to ask.
“He went to see Talitha and had dinner with her.”
When she heard Bevan say that Hardy went to see Talitha for dinner in the evening, she immediately called Talitha, “My brother fell unconscious and was sent a doctor. What happened at dinner with you?”
Talitha was shocked and immediately defended herself, “Nothing happened? Everything was normal during dinner until we parted!”
Paisley did not believe her, “Are you sure my brother was okay when you parted ways?”
“Of course, why would I lie to you?” Talitha was extremely guilty, but she still tried to defend herself in order to prevent Paisley from suspecting her, “Paisley, I am now pregnant with his child. What can I do to him? It’s a bit ridiculous to suspect anything of me!”
Paisley thought about it and agreed. Talitha was now pregnant with his child, so she had no reason to harm Hardy. Then, she hung up the phone angrily.
After Talitha hung up the phone, she immediately went to find Raelyn, “Mom, Hardy was sent to the doctor for falling into a coma. What’s going on? Did something go wrong?”
“I don’t think so.” Raelyn was not sure and told her, “Hardy might be unconscious because of the vermin. You should go to the hospital immediately.”
Natasya was also shocked when she heard that Hardy had fainted, “He fainted? What about William? Will he faint too?”
