William went to the bathroom to take a shower while Valeria leaned against the headboard and scrolled through her phone.
Her search history was full of answers regarding the question, “How to help husband who is tired from taking care of a pregnant wife.”
She read all the answers with a racing heart.
Some people said that men have cheating instincts. What would happen if he was unsatisfied and went out to cheat?
The word “cheating” gave her a fright since she would die if the man she loved the most cheated on her.

The sound of the water flowing in the bathroom stopped, and William came out with wet hair.
When he saw her still leaning on the head of the bed, he asked, “Why aren’t you sleeping yet?”
“I’m waiting for you!” She stuttered.
“Why is your face so red? Are you sick?” He reached out to touch her forehead.
“No, I just feel a little hot.” She pushed his hand away unnaturally.
“It’s not hot today though?” He looked at her doubtfully.
“Can’t I feel hot?” She felt that he would know what she was looking at with his sharp observation skills, “Hurry up and dry your hair!”
“Okay, go to sleep. I’ll come to accompany you after I blow my hair dry.” He helped her to put her pillow flat, turned off the lights, and kissed her cheek, “Good night, my dear!”
Valeria laid down in a dilemma and watched him leave to blowdry his hair, then she closed her eyes.
A few minutes later, he came out of the bathroom and walked to the bedside. When he saw Valeria with her eyes shut, he got into bed, turned off the wall lamp, and laid down. Then, he reached out to hold her in his arms.
Upon smelling the scent of his pleasant shower gel, she crept into his arms while he stayed still silently.
She felt conflicted and gently raised her hand. William, who had his eyes closed in the dark, sensed it and opened his eyes at once. “Dear? What are you doing?”
“Didn’t you ask me to find a way to help you?”
“Huh?” He was shocked by the surprise. “Didn’t you say you weren’t willing to?”
She rolled her eyes in the dark, “Do you want me to help you or not?”
“Of course I do!” In the darkness, he closed his eyes and lowered his head to kiss her lips. Soft pants filled the darkroom and they spent a good night together.
Abbie woke up early in the morning with a headache. She looked at her surroundings and sat up abruptly.
Richard, who was sitting on the sofa, heard the sound and opened his eyes. He immediately got up when he saw her up, “Are you still feeling uncomfortable?”
“I feel much better! Bro, have you been here for the whole night?” She looked at the dark circles around his eyes and asked in distress.
“Yeah.” He nodded. “Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? I’ll ask the auntie to send it to you.”
“I’m not hungry.” She shook her head and looked at him with distress. “You’re such a busy person, so you should have just let the auntie take care of me. Why do you need to do it yourself? You have really bad dark circles.”
“I am your brother! I won’t be relieved if I’m not the one by your side. Besides, I can’t publicly spread the fact that you are ill because I don’t want to worry dad and mom.”
She reached out to grab his hand, “I’m so sorry!”
“For what?” He frowned.
“I shouldn’t have made you worry, I… I’m really sorry.” She apologized sincerely. Every time she made trouble, he always settled it for her no matter what. Richard spoke fiercely, but in reality, he always protected her, making sure that she never got hurt.”
“If you really feel sorry for me, then will you listen to me in the future and do whatever I ask you to do?”
“Yes!” She nodded.
“That’s good.” He reached out to pat her head, “I’ll ask the doctor to come over and give you a checkup.”
“There’s no need, I’m feeling much better!” She shook her head, “I just got sick all of a sudden. I’ll be fine after I sleep.”
“Are you sure?”
She nodded and said, “Yes.”
“Alright then, let’s go. I’ll take you to eat some delicious breakfast at the Wolf Group.”
After she wore her shoes, Richard took her to his car and he put on her seatbelt for her. Looking at how much he took care of her, she said, “When are you going to get a girlfriend?”
“Uh? Why?” He asked in surprise.
“I just think that if you would be the type to be gentle and considerate to your girlfriend, and you’ll be as loving and happy as Valeria and William, right?”
He narrowed his eyes, “I’m not in a hurry for that. By the way, Abbie, did you meet with Braelynn last night?”
Abbie did not know why he asked her this question. Her plan was to see Michael, but if he knew that she went to see him, Michael would definitely get into trouble, so she nodded subconsciously, “Yes.”
Seeing that she did not deny the question, Richard started the car and asked, “What do you think of Braelynn? Is it easy to get along with her?”

Valeria was awakened by Abbie’s call in the morning, “Valeria, I’ve arrived at Wolf Group. Come down and have breakfast with me!”
“Ah,” she said, “I’m at the old house. I went home with my husband last night.”
“What an unfortunate coincidence.” She was disappointed.
“Are you okay?” Valeria asked immediately.
“Yes, I’m fine now, don’t worry. Why don’t you come out and have breakfast with me?”
“I’m afraid I can’t this morning, but I’ll come to see you at noon. After breakfast, wait for me in the hot spring over there.”
