Archer displeasedly replied, “I would have no idea that you have not been paying for the room if you did not call me. What do you think the Saunder family’s hotel is? An asylum?”
“You…” Raelyn was interrupted by Archer before she could continue speaking.
“I am glad that Valeria found out about it and do listen to what she says. After all, she is the owner of the hotel and I am just assisting her to manage it. It is common sense for you to pay for the room after having enjoyed the service. Are you planning to stay there for free? Isn’t that too absurd and shameful? It does not sound logical, right?”
Raelyn was breathing heavily as she was pissed off and she gritted her teeth while asked, “Are you really my brother?”
“Of course I am. However, have you been treating me well as a sibling?” Archer retorted and continued, “I do remember that you have forfeited all your shares after you have married, right? My company has no business with you and the legal owner of the hotel is Valeria. Isn’t it normal for her to demand a payment from you?”
Archer hung up the phone after he finished speaking while Raelyn stood there fuming with anger. The manager stared at her and said, “Please pay for the room!”
Raelyn reluctantly took out her card and made the payment under the watch of the group of staff. The manager then asked, “Are you intending to continue your stay or choose to check out? Please pay for the deposit should you wish to extend your stay as this is the first time we have encountered a customer like you. It is a rare sight for a customer who has yet to make a payment after residing here for a month and requires us to chase for the bill.”
Raelyn would not continue her stay here as she failed to get a free pass. She had to tighten the purse strings as both her company and Devon were in a mess. She then furiously replied, “No! We’ll move out right away and you are not the only hotel available in B City.”
“Well, we won’t see you off then. Let’s go!” The group of staff left after receiving the payment from Raelyn.
Raelyn heatedly shut the door and ordered her daughters to pack up and leave. Both Natasya and Talitha were unhappy about it as they felt as if they were kicked out of the hotel.
Where would they stay if they were forced out of the Saunders family’s hotel? They no longer had the chance to stay in such a luxurious presidential suite again. Talitha muttered, “This is too embarrassing, right? Mom, we can’t leave like this. What would people think of us?”
“Are you intending to stay here when they would demand payment from us? Are you able to come up with sixty thousand every day?” Natasya retorted.
“How dare you talk back at me when you are the one at fault? How would they mess with us if you hadn’t provoked Valeria and let grandpa knew about the indecent things that you’ve done? It’s all because of you!”
Talitha glared at Natasya and said, “I’m really unlucky. How would you end up being my sister? I’m always faced with hardship because of you.”
Natasya was furious but could not do anything about it as Talitha was telling the truth. She raised her voice and said, “I’ll make Valeria suffer after I have cultivated the blood vermin!”
Natasya then inquired Raelyn as she was concerned about the vermin, “Mom, we have been raising it for four days. Would it be affected if there is a sudden change of environment? This strange thing would be just fine, right?”
“Well…” Raelyn had no idea as well and suggested, “Let’s stay here for a few more days then.”
“Alright. It’s just three days anyway,” Natasya glanced at Talitha. “You’re going to make the payment, okay?”
“No. Don’t you know that I’m pregnant? Why don’t you go instead?”
“Okay, fine. I’ll go!” Natasya stood up and exited the room furiously.
There were a few customers when she headed to the reception for making the payment. They stared at her with a disdainful look on their face and said, “Look, that is the famous shitty beauty named Natasya!”
“What? How could she claim to be a beauty when she looks like this? Pfft!”
“She probably has thick skin! Her personality is also terribly bad besides the things that she had done. I’m telling you, she is a shameless woman who likes to meddle in the relationship of others!”
“You mean like a mistress? What’s going on?”
“You must have seen the eldest daughter of the Saunders family who had bodyguards beside her, right?”
“Yes, I saw her! Miss Brown is so gorgeous and graceful!”
“I heard that Natasya, this immoral woman is trying to seduce her fiancé.”
“Isn’t she too despicable and shameless? She does not even stand a slight chance against Miss Brown, right? Where did she obtain the courage to hook up with someone else’s fiancé?”
“There are indeed uncultured and ill-mannered people in this world. She probably is a narcissistic person who overestimates herself!”
“What? I’m telling you, I saw Miss Brown and Sir William a few days ago and they were a match made in heaven. Sir William was so gentle and considerate towards her and the couple was inseparable. Isn’t it just wishful thinking of Natasya to come between them as the couple has an unbreakable bond?”
Natasya was furious when she overhead the discussion that was deliberately getting intense and louder but could do nothing about it. She suppressed her anger and wanted to leave immediately after settling the bill.
The customers did not want to let her off the hook and purposefully bumped into her. One of them spat at her face and cussed, “Disgusting piece of trash, stop putting on an act. Let me teach you a lesson!”
Natasya knew she did not stand a chance against a group of people. She also knew that these people deliberately provoked her to cause a scene.
She had no support and knew that she would not be able to turn things around should she fight back against them.
Natasya was the best at assessing the situation and would not make any move that was unfavorable for her. She remained silent and hurriedly avoided them to return back to her room.
One of them stretched their leg and tripped Natasya when they knew that she was about to leave. She then fell to the ground in the hallway of the hotel.
Laughter emerged around her while she ached in pain. She ignored them and got up hastily as she then rushed into the elevator like a madwoman.
She headed straight to the bathroom as she returned to the room. Raelyn immediately got up as she was surprised and followed her into the bathroom, “What’s going on?”
“I was targeted by Valeria’s men!” Natasya was filling up the bathtub and continued, “Valeria came over to mess with us on purpose today. She forced us to pay for the room and now arranged for someone in the hallway to embarrass me! I was tripped over and I am in pain. One of them even spat at me!”
“That’s absurd! How could they do this?” Raelyn was feeling distressed and said, “Let mommy have a look!”
“It’s fine. I’m in pain, but I won’t die from it! Valeria is deliberately messing with us as she arranged for someone to badmouth and humiliate me. She even claimed how well was Wiliam treating her and was undoubtedly declaring war with me! She shall sit back and wait as I will definitely seek my revenge on her!”
