What did he think of her pregnancy? He couldn’t wait to get rid of the child in her belly. As the disturbing thoughts appeared in his mind, he said, “I… I’m very surprised by it. Talitha, tell me what you think about it first.”
When she saw his gentle eyes, she smiled and said, “Of course I want to give birth to the baby. Are you willing to let me do that?”
“Sure! Go ahead if you want to!” he replied affectionately.
“Is there anything else you want to tell me?” she asked eagerly.
“Hmm… I want to marry you! Talitha, will you marry me?” he said gently.
“Really? It’s my dream to marry you! Are you lying to me, Hardy? You’re not tricking me to make me happy, right?” she felt that he was a completely different person today.
Although she was happy, she still had a lot of doubts in her heart. Hardy swore in his head and said, “Why will I? We are already together, and you are pregnant now. I am not an irresponsible person, so don’t worry. I will take responsibility for you and the child!”
He coaxed her with sweet words as he thought in his head, “Bevan, that stupid b*stard, why is he so slow?”
Why hadn’t he brought the spiked juice yet?
After Hardy cursed Bevan countless times, the door was pushed open, and the waiter came in with two glasses of juice.
Hardy handed a glass of juice to Talitha, “You are pregnant now. Drink less coffee and eat more fruits and vegetables so that the child will be healthy!”
Talitha was very excited that he cared about her so much, but she was not stupid. She handed the juice to him and picked up the other cup of fruit juice herself, “Let’s drink together!”
“This b*tch is actually so cautious,” he sneered in his heart and took over the juice to drink.
After seeing him drink the juice with no problems, she followed suit in relief.
After finishing the juice, he raised his wrist to look at his watch, “It’s getting late. Are you hungry? I’ll take you to dinner.”
“Sure!” she stood up obediently and reached out to hold his arm, then they left the tea house.
Hardy took her to the car and sat in the back row with her as Bevan started the engine. Talitha didn’t care about her surroundings and leaned on him. Not long after the car started driving, she fell asleep.
Seeing her sleeping, Hardy pushed her away in disgust and ordered Bevan, “Stop the car! This is so disgusting! Send her to the hospital right now! I’m going to leave!”
The bodyguards following behind drove to catch up with them, then Bevan got out of the car to help them transfer Talitha into the other car while Hardy left in his own car.
Needless to say, Talitha was doomed tonight. As long as Bevan sent her to the hospital to abort the child in her belly, he had nothing else to worry about.
After dealing with Talitha, Hardy was in a good mood. He hadn’t had dinner yet, so he drove to a restaurant, and the good news should be announced when he finished eating.
As he thought about it, a biker who was part of a bike gang suddenly rode towards him.
He immediately braked, but it was too late so he crashed into the oncoming biker.
The person fell with their bike in front of his car, and Hardy came out of his car in shock to check the situation. The other bikers surrounded him and asked him to take responsibility for the accident. Hardy was trapped in the middle and was ready to call the police when a police came over, “What’s going on?”
“He wasn’t following the rules and crashed into one of our bikers!” the gang of bikers accused him.
“No, that’s not what happened. He’s the one who isn’t following the rules!” Hardy retorted.
“It’s him! It’s his fault!”
“Okay, stop quarreling. Send the wounded to the hospital first, and you can come to the police station with us for investigation.” the police issued the order.
“I’m the president of Acma Corporation…”
His words were interrupted, “Gentleman, please. Your position has nothing to do with this. You can’t change the fact that you hit someone. Let’s go!”
When the police pushed him into their car, he was very angry, “It’s obvious that they’re the ones who violated the law. Let me make a phone call!”
He picked up his phone and was about to dial it when it was snatched away, “You don’t have the right to call anyone now. Please cooperate with us to be investigated!”
“You… Why are you being so unreasonable? Let me see your work card,” Noticing that something was wrong, he asked to look at the police’s work card.
The police smiled, took out a card from his pocket, and handed it to him, “Take a good look!”
Hardy took it, but before he could look at it, he suddenly felt dizzy and fell down.
Seeing that he fell down, the police and bikers looked at each other and laughed.
Hardy was thrown into the backseat like a dead pig while Silas whistled as he opened the door to the driver’s seat and started the car. The car sped away and disappeared into the night.
Bevan took a few bodyguards to send Talitha to the hospital. When they arrived, they helped her down the car. After a few steps, a surprised voice sounded, “Talitha?”
A woman in fashionable clothes suddenly came over. Looking at Talitha who was unconscious, she raised her voice and asked, “Talitha, what’s wrong with you? What’s going on?”
Bevan sweated profusely. Were they really that unlucky? How did they end up meeting one of her acquaintances here?
He groaned in his heart as the woman looked at them. “Who are you? Why don’t I know you guys? What did you do to her?”
He wanted to explain, but the woman did not listen to him at all. She raised her voice and shouted, “Help! Someone’s been kidnapped!”
The bodyguards immediately came forward to stop the woman from shouting, but it was too late. Several fully armed policemen appeared to handcuff Bevan and the other bodyguards and brought them to the police car.
Bevan’s face was covered with sweat as he waited in the police car. “Oh no! What should I do now?”
What should he do? He had not sent Talitha to the operating room yet, so as long as the doctor did not expose them, he could play it off saying that Talitha had fainted and they were sending her to the hospital for a checkup.
As he thought so, he saw the police with the doctor he contacted during the day.
His heart sank when he saw the doctor walking out with handcuffs. His last hope was shattered!
Silas drove Hardy to the entrance of the most chaotic alley in Juxemburg. This was a place where good and evil mixed together. He stopped the car where a few old women were waiting on the side of the road.
Silas pointed at Hardy, who was in the car and said, “Take him away. Our boss likes exciting plays the most, and you can use whips and candles on him. The more cruel, the better! Money is not a problem.”
When the women saw the handsome and unconscious man in the car, they seemed to be very happy and immediately went to the rental house with Hardy.
