Chapter 620 A Different Father

William narrowed his eyes and questioned, “Who was there when Declan slipped his tongue?”
“There was only me and a loyal subordinate of Declan. However, Declan eventually got rid of him,” Ronald replied.
“Really? Are you implying that both Talitha and Natasya are the daughters of Declan?”
“Nope! It is only Talitha. They are twins but have a different father,” Ronald shook his head and answered.
“Talitha is the daughter of Declan while Devon’s daughter is Natasya. Talitha has a similar feature with Declan but no one noticed it as his face was messed up. On the other hand, Natasya takes on Devon’s look. I remember during the party, Talitha received a more expensive and generous gift from Declan compared to Natasya.”
“What are the odds?” William chuckled sarcastically.
It was obvious that the brothers from the Anderson family had slept with Raelyn around the same time. It was then she got impregnated with her twin daughters.
William did not imagine Raelyn would do such a thing as she was from a wealthy and well-cultured family. It might also have happened when she was unaware of it.
“Does Raelyn know about it?”
Ronald shook his head and said, “Raelyn had no idea that she has anything to do with Declan. He had always disguised himself as Devon when spending time with her. It only lasted before Raelyn got engaged to Devon.”
“I see. This is such an interesting show to enjoy!” William got up with a smile and said, “You shall head back to where you belong!”
Ronald followed behind him with an anxious expression and begged, “William, I’ve told you everything I know. Could you please…”
William turned around and stared at him, “You’ve lost the opportunity to redeem yourself. I will leave you alone if you decide to reveal all secrets to me.”
“I…” Ronald wanted to negotiate further but realized that William had marched away alongside Bobby.
William sneered as he hopped into the vehicle and said, “I did not expect Ronald to know so many secrets.”
“I feel the same way as I assumed he had come clean long ago. I would not have batted an eye towards him if it weren’t for your sudden disappearance.” Bobby sighed as he continued, “It seems that we have yet to know the full picture.”
“It doesn’t matter as I am willing to continue playing games with him. He is not a potential threat as he is an opportunistic person. He would use the secrets as his tool and it would be better than people who backstab us.”
Bobby agreed and asked, “Sir William, what would you want to gain from Declan’s visit at the detention center?”
“I would like to know more about the vermin.” William streaked his fingers against the armrest before he continued, “I need to know the truth before his life comes to an end.”
It was night time and neon lights were flashing brightly across the street. Talitha was seen to be humming while driving her red Porsche 911 model and headed straight to the exclusive restaurant for her date.
She was very excited upon thinking that she was able to stir up something bombastic with Hardy tonight.
She hurriedly paced into the restaurant after parking her car at the entrance. The waiter greeted her with a smile, “Welcome!”
“Have they arrived yet?” Talitha was in a good mood and enquired politely.
“Nope.” The waiter answered.
Talitha was feeling displeased upon hearing it. They should have waited for my arrival in a delightful mood, shouldn’t they? Paisley muttered to herself as she had made things very clear to them.
Why should she be the one who waited for them instead?
She entered the private room and took a seat. The waiter eventually brought the menu over and she ordered Hardy’s favorite dishes while suppressing her discontentment.
She then picked up her phone and sent a message to Paisley, “Are you guys here yet?”
“We would be late as we are currently stuck in traffic,” Paisley texted back.
You guys should have departed early, right? Talitha muttered to herself but texted back a different message, “Take your time. I shall order the dishes first.”
Hardy was taking the wheel whereas Paisley was seated in the passenger seat. “Hardy, Talitha has arrived at the restaurant and is waiting for us. Could you please speed up?”
“Alright, fine.” Hardy replied in an annoyed tone.
“Cut it out with the long face and put on a great act. Talitha is an innocent woman and she would tell you everything if you do everything that she says.”
“Don’t you know I’m feeling disgusted? I am being used by that b*tch…” He replied with an increasingly sulky face.
“I understand, but we are left with no choice, right? We should always sacrifice for the greater good. Isn’t this your timeless advice that you have taught me all this while?”
“Alright, cut it out! That shameless b*tch! I will tear her into pieces if today’s secret does not benefit us at all!” Hardy cussed.
On the other hand, Talitha was texting someone else with a bizarre grin on her face.
“Have you arranged things accordingly? You shall take some photos at the restaurant and head straight to my uncle’s hotel. Do not worry as I have given the manager a green light and you would not be met with trouble. Take a few good pictures of me checking into the suite with Hardy.”
She quickly received a noted message and reminded again, “You have to hype this piece of news and you will be handsomely rewarded!”
She chuckled proudly upon sending the last message. Hardy would be forced to accept Talitha as his girlfriend should everything goes to plan accordingly.
She was excited as she imagined being the wife of Hardy who owns Acma Corporation. Everyone would treat her respectfully and the spotlight would always be on her.
Declan was dressed in prison uniform while waiting for his dinner in a single-bed prison at the detention center of Juxemburg.
He has been locked at the detention center ever since he received a death sentence. The counting down of days was increasingly lonely and depressing.
Declan was always in cuffs upon waiting for his execution day and knew there was no way to turn things around. However, his brother had pulled some strings and a lawyer managed to visit Declan three days ago.
The lawyer told him that William had lost his memory and struggled to remember his past. He was being told to wait patiently while the lawyer would submit an appeal within a few days later. He would be able to enjoy a lighter punishment and would be set free a few years later.
Declan did not expect to be so lucky and was feeling on top of the world.
He had been waiting anxiously ever since then for the lawyer’s update. Footsteps were then heard from the corridor and Declan immediately stood up as he thought that it was dinner time.
The footsteps came to a halt at his cell and metal clicking sounds were heard. The door was then pushed open.
Declan looked up and saw William crossed his hands with a sly grin on his face. Declan’s heart immediately sank as he sensed something uneasy about it.
