Paisley laughed heartily and said, “Since Savannah has no value now, it doesn’t matter if we’re cruel to her anymore. Natalie and your brother will be attending the gathering, and I guess they would attract a lot of attention. Not only that, I’m sure that Savannah will definitely go to the party because of your brother. If Savannah died at the party due to an accident…”
Raelyn gasped as Paisley was indeed a spiteful bit*h!
She understood what Paisley meant. However, if Paisley forced Savannah to death, it would mean that she would be Paisley’s mercy. She could not make such a mistake, so she forced a smile and said, “This matter should be difficult, right?”
Paisley gave a contemptuous laugh as she knew that Raelyn might be worried that she would fall into a trap.
“Though it might be hard for you, it should be just a piece of cake since there are another two days to prepare. I can lend you a hand if you don’t have enough manpower.”
Paisley offered herself as an accomplice, which was good news to Raelyn, “Thanks for your help, Paisley. Let’s talk more tonight when we meet!”
Lucian paid a visit to Natalie in hospital at noon, but he was blocked by Archer’s bodyguards.
Lucian was so angry because he could not see Natalie, so he stormed out in fury and called Devon in the car.
“How? Archer doesn’t allow me to see her!”
“Just control your emotions, you can’t do anything since Natalie is with Archer now.”
“It’s easy for you to say, but can you bear this? My previous plans are all in vain!”
“So, what are you going to do?” Devon asked in return.
“You need to help me! Valeria’s party will be held on the day after tomorrow, and I can’t bear to see Natalie together with Archer. How about we kidnap her from the hospital?”
“Are you crazy? Stop your stupid ideas! You have no way to deal with Archer, and William will be in your way as well,” Devon reminded.
“I know, but I can’t watch silently and do nothing! I’ll rather die than see her together with Archer!”
“Isn’t this my fault? You’re the one to blame because you didn’t want to hand her to me. You made things worse yourself, so you should stop fantasizing about being with her anymore!” Devon sneered and emphasized his tone. “Stop being obsessed with Natalie for our safety because you will be dead if Archer finds out!”
“I will put a stop to our plans if I can’t be with her! This isn’t the right time for you to insult me as well. You’ll gain benefits if you choose to help me, so you’d better think it through!” Lucian threatened Devon in rage.
“Do you know what your mother will do if she finds out that Natalie still alive? Archer and William won’t let go of the incident, and I believe that they will continue to investigate it. There are so many things that you haven’t settled yet, so I think it’s quite hard for your plan to succeed!”
Devon remained silent for a moment, “Who said that this is the end of the road for me? I still have hope that everything will work out. We just wait for the moment and there will be a surprise at Valeria’s party. We’ll see in two days.”
“What are you trying to do? Can’t you just reveal some information to me? Lucian subconsciously felt that Devon was going to take action.
“I can only tell you that it involves Savannah. Don’t you desperately want her to die? She’s doomed this time!”
“Are you going to kill Savannah?”
“It’s Raelyn, not me!” Devon answered with annoyance. “This was planned by Raelyn and Paisley. I have no idea about it at this moment, but I will inform you once they made a discussion. You should grasp your chance to show your ability and gain her trust again. Then, it will eventually put Archer and William into trouble!”
It’s six o’clock now. William glanced at the watch and stood up thoughtfully. Lucas’ report had been brought back home for several hours. However, it seemed like Hayden didn’t believe the results since no action was taken.
The facts were there, but Hayden chose not to believe it. Hence, William shook his head and grabbed his coat. Then, he went out and took the elevator to the parking lot.
Bobby was waiting for him in the car. When he saw William coming over, he got off the car and opened the door, “Sir, are you going home?”
“Pick up Valeria, and then go to hospital.”
Bobby started the car. “Sir, did Hayden take any actions?”
“No. If there is no action taken, it means that Hayden does not believe the result. He might suspect I cheated him,” William had a headache and he rubbed his forehead.
They went to Brownard Group to pick up Valeria and both of them paid a visit to Natalie at the hospital.
Marcus’s phone rang, “Mr. Howard, the gown and jewellery that you’ve custom made for Madam had arrived. Where should I send them?”
“Send them home then.”
“Alright, I’ll send it now.”
Valeria’s eyes brightened when she heard their conversation, “Honey, you bought me a gown and jewelry?
“Yes, isn’t your party on the day after tomorrow? I will let you be the most beautiful woman that day.”
“When did you order the gown? Why didn’t you ask for my size?” Valeria asked curiously.
“Of course, I would remember your measurements after touching it.”
“Nonsense!” Valeria glared at him, “You have given me a lot of gifts, but I did not give you anything at all. I will definitely give you a big surprise on your birthday.”
“Sure. I will wait for your surprise, but I don’t really care about the gift itself. It will be great if you could give me a priceless gift instead.”
“What is that?” Valeria asked.
“A baby!” William answered it with a smile, “It will be the best thing if you could give me a baby as my birthday present!”
This was not the first time for William to mention children as he really liked them. Valeria felt pressured and she said, “Hubby, I’ll try my best! It’ll be great if we have a baby, but please don’t be disappointed if we don’t!”
“I know, so you don’t have to feel pressured. Take it easy and just go with the flow!”
Both of them went out of the elevator and entered the ward. As expected, Archer was in the ward and he was talking to Natalie about Valeria’s party, “I customized dresses and jewellery for you and Valeria, and they will arrive tomorrow.”
“Dad, please don’t bother because my husband has ordered it.”
“I know that William would order it for you, but I bought something different,” Archer said and handed Valeria a tablet.
“The meeting’s task has been well-prepared. This is the whole process, and you can see if there’s anything that needs to be modified.”
“I don’t get it, so I’ll let my mother make the decision.” Valeria looked at Natalie.
“You all can have a look together. Archer, I have something to say to you.” William looked at Archer.
“Okay, let’s go out and talk.”
