Valeria was a little worried after hearing William’s reply. “Hubby, Savannah and Raelyn are so ruthless. Do you think that they would hurt my mother?”
“No, your mother is not a weakling. In fact, she’s a strong and independent woman! Don’t worry, your mother would be safe even without your father’s protection.”
“But Lucian is a pain in the a*s! Savannah and Raelyn are easy to deal with because they have obvious targets, unlike Lucian, we don’t even know what her intention is. If it wasn’t for Raymond, that b*stard, I wouldn’t be worried at all. I’m just afraid that he’ll mess things up!”
“You’re right. The way Lucian treated your mother was not that bad, to be honest. Besides having drugged your mother to make her suffer from amnesia, she was always on her toes to serve your mother well. So what’s her purpose for doing this?” William couldn’t figure it out as well.
Valeria guessed, “Is she teaming up with Devon to make a move on the Saunders family’s inheritance?”
“I think that’s possible. I’ll ask your parents when I have the time. Let’s hope I’ll find out something interesting.”
“Ahh, my husband has become Sherlock Holmes,” Valeria sighed.
“Yes, I think that I could be a detective too. However, I don’t think I would need to be involved anymore. Your father will settle everything soon.”
“I don’t really believe in anyone else apart from my husband right now.”
William shook his head with a smile. “Your parents and your grandfather would be sad if they’d heard this.”
“They won’t know as long as you keep it a secret, right?”
As he heard this, William smiled and pinched Valeria’s face softly. He then took out his phone to give Richard a call. “Richard, please do me a favor.”
“I’m all ears!”
“Soon, my media company and the Saunders Enterprises will release a piece of news stating that my mother-in-law is still alive. She is recovering after undergoing hospital treatments. Your company shall report this news as well to attract greater attention.”
“Of course!” Richard immediately agreed.
“It won’t be easy this time as this would be a whole new game. There were not that many troublemakers previously. But now, my father and Hardy would be in our way. Not forgetting Savannah and Raelyn too, they would definitely try to make matters worse. We have to prevent negative news from spreading.”
“Alright. We’ll work together as a team. I’m sure there won’t be any problems.”
Meanwhile, Savannah and Raelyn did not check Lucian’s message instantly when she sent the messages to them.
Raelyn didn’t rest well that night, and after meeting up with Paisley, Raelyn went back to the hotel and rested in bed after a shower. Savannah, on the other hand, was harassed by Ronald and was currently forced to spend time with him.

Raelyn was taken aback by the news. “Are you sure? You’re joking, right?”
“Look at this yourself, the news was released by uncle’s company, right?”
Raelyn was suddenly fully awake as she grabbed the phone from Talitha and read the news swiftly, with her face full of shock. “What… what’s going on? How could she still be alive?! Is that even possible?”
Then, Raelyn dialed Savannah’s number frantically. Meanwhile, Ronald and Savannah were busy making love and had no intention of picking up the phone despite hearing it ringing. Raelyn didn’t give up and kept calling Savannah desperately in hopes that she would pick up.
Annoyed by the calls, Ronald cursed and finally let go of Savannah. Then, she quickly ran to the balcony to answer the call. “Raelyn? What’s the matter?”
“What’s up?! Why didn’t you answer my calls? Savannah, I’m telling you, Natalie is not dead! She is alive and breathing!”
“Are you out of your mind?” Savannah asked.
“Hah! I would rather be crazy than seeing Natalie alive. Do you know what does this means?!” Raelyn raised her voice as she screamed.
Of course, Savannah knew what it meant clearly. If Natalie was alive, everything that Savannah had done in the past would go down the drain, and it meant that Natalie had fooled her good.
Savannah had spent more than 20 years of her youth and countless efforts as well as meticulous planning, but in the end, she was left with nothing and was forced to get a divorce. Not only that, she was now stuck with this annoying b*stard, Ronald, which she could not get rid of. Savannah shuddered to think of what would become of her if the news was true.
With a glimmer of hope inside her, Savannah asked in a strained voice, “Where did you see the news? Could it be… could it be fake?”
“The news was released by my brother’s company!”
“What?! How is this even possible?” Savannah knew that news that was released by Archer’s company was definitely true without a doubt.
As she slowly digested it, Savannah lost her grip on her phone and it fell to the ground as she shrieked, “Ah!!”
Ronald heard her scream and rushed to the balcony immediately. “Why the f*ck are you shouting?!”
Savannah ignored him as she wrapped her head and screeched incessantly while squatting on the ground. Then, Ronald grabbed Savannah and dragged her back into the living room. Seeing how crazy that Savannah was behaving, Ronald raised his hand and slapped her in the face, and it was only then did she stop her screams.
Savannah burst into tears after being beaten up. “I won’t let them get away with this! They are such bullies! I’ll make them pay!”
“What are you talking about? Why the f*ck are you behaving like a madman all of a sudden?” Ronald asked in annoyance.
“I won’t let Archer get away with this! Natalie too! I’ll kill them all for sure!”
“That’s enough. Natalie has already been framed and is dead because of you. Are you going to kill yourself as well to join her?” Ronald thought Savannah was mad and asked sarcastically.
“She’s not dead! Natalie, that b*tch, she lied to us. We were all deceived by her! She’s still alive! Look at the news…”
As he heard this, Ronald picked up his phone immediately. His face darkened when he read the news about Natalie being alive.
“Do you believe me now? Natalie, that b*tch, has deceived the both of us! That b*tch is f*cking ruthless! I’ll make her pay for sure!” Savannah yelled.
Ronald’s expression was unpleasant as he was surprised and felt that he had been made a fool of. However, he didn’t intend to seek revenge on Natalie, unlike Savannah.
Natalie had always been decent to Ronald. Moreover, he knew very well that he was not capable of getting his hands dirty in this situation. Besides Archer who had wanted a piece of him, William wanted revenge on him too.
William was powerful and influential, and Ronald had zero chances against him. Ronald knew that he should just stay in his lane to avoid being eaten up alive.
Seeing Ronald being silent with a gloomy face, Savannah thought that he was just as pissed as herself, and she thought that Ronald must have hated Natalie to the core too. “Ronald, we can team up to seek revenge on them! How about we work together from now on?”
