Azalea wasn’t a fool. She immediately shook her head. “I think there’s a misunderstanding. I don’t have a grudge with Miss Brown.”
Talitha sneered as she knew that Azalea didn’t trust them, “Look, Miss Clark, we’re trying to offer our help sincerely. You should try to appreciate the kindness that we’re showing you right now.”
Azalea looked at the two women sitting in front of her. One of them was the daughter of Acma Corporation, and the other was one of the richest heirs in Ruthorham. They were not easy to get along with, and if she chose to get along with them, they could take advantage of her anytime.
As she thought of this, she shook her head and said, “I really don’t have any conflicts with Miss Brown. I’m just arguing with Abbie.”

Paisley’s face darkened after seeing how Azalea had rejected Talitha. “Oh, well, since you don’t want our help, we’ll leave you be. However, I hope that you can remember us when you face any problems!”
After their conversation, Azalea left without hesitation. Talitha then sneered. “What the hell? Who does she think she is?”
“Haha! I know, right? She thinks that she’s so powerful, so let’s give her a taste of our power!” Paisley sneered evilly.
“Do you have any ideas?”
“Isn’t she a celebrity? Hmm… then I’m sure that a scandal will work quite well! Let’s send the paparazzi a picture of her miserable state and tell them that she fought with Abbie. Heh! Let’s see whether she can get herself out of that mess then!”
“Wow, you’re smart! Let’s do this then!” Talitha was also furious at Abbie. Thus, she would do anything to ruin Abbie’s career.
“When Richard sees the news, he will think that they fought because Azalea was badmouthing Abbie on purpose. I’m sure that he won’t leave her be if this incident blows up. Let’s see what she can do then! Haha!”
Meanwhile, Azalea’s appearance had ruined both Valeria and Abbie’s appetite. Hence, they quickly finished the food they had ordered and left the restaurant.
Valeria was fuming with anger when they got into the car. “You used to say that Azalea was a b*tch that was pretending to be innocent, but I didn’t believe you! Urgh! This was really eye-opening. Was she used to scheme you this way too?”
Abbie sighed. “That’s right. She’s an acting student, so she knew how to act whenever we argued. My parents think that I’m domineering while she’s too weak, so they always think that I’m going to bully her.”
“She’s too disgusting! Does no one suspect that she has ulterior motives?” Valeria was livid.
“Well, someone did. My brother never trusted her, and he always believed me. However, he pitied her because he thought that she had a hard time growing up alone. Also, he did not want to waste his time dealing with our trivial arguments, so he always ignored her actions.”
“But why did your parents trust her? Why the hell did they think of letting this b*tch to stay with you?”
“I guess they thought because they thought she was too pitiful? I’m sure you know this well, but pitiful people like her can win over people’s hearts easily. Besides, you know how soft-hearted my mom can be,” Abbie shook her head. “Forget it. Let’s not talk about her anymore. I am so sleepy. Let’s go back to sleep!”
Azalea returned to the SUV waiting for her outside and threw her bag on the chair harshly.
Her assistant saw her upset expression and knew that her plans had failed. “Is Abbie bullying you again? She’s too shameless! Let’s go to the hospital immediately to inform Michael.”
“Don’t do that. We need to make sure that we have sufficient evidence even if we want to do so. Michael will on be suspicious if we report this now, so let’s think of a plan first.” Azalea picked up a wet tissue and wiped her face before sneering, “I’ve already recorded what Abbie said to me. You should go back and edit it before letting him listen to it. Hah! I’m sure that he won’t continue to be this stubborn now that Abbie is dissing him like that!”
Michael was lying on the bed while watching the news with his phone in the hospital. After that, he heard footsteps approaching his room from the corridor, and they finally stopped outside the door.
His eyes widened, and he quickly put down his phone before lying down on the bed with a painful expression.
William opened the door and walked in. When he saw Micheal’s pained expression, he snickered and said, “Hah. What are you doing?”
“Urgh! Why are you here?” Micheal did not expect William to visit him.
“Who else would come to visit you now other than me? Do you think Abbie will come here? Don’t think about it. She’s with my wife now, so do you think she’ll bother visiting you?”
“F*ck!” Michael sat up angrily. “Why is she so cruel? She didn’t even visit me I vomited blood?”
“Huh? Did you really vomit blood?” William retorted.
Micheal said sullenly, “Well… not really, but I was heartbroken the whole night.”
“Haha! Does it really hurt?” William teased him. “Stop pretending to be pitiful anymore since it’s useless. You need to think of other ideas now.”
“Alas! Do you think I would need to put on an act if I had any other ideas?”
William sneered and sat down. “Hah. Are you stupid? Why did you put on an act and ask Azalea to look for Abbie? You know that you’re adding fuel to the fire, right? You informed Azalea first when you felt well, so this proves that you’re close with Azalea! If I were Abbie, I wouldn’t come here to visit you either!”
“But… but I just wanted Azalea to explain.”
“Nah, don’t bother asking Azalea to explain because this issue will become more complicated. You know that Azalea isn’t innocent, and the only thing she can do is to pretend to be innocent, even though her acting skills are so lacking!”
William was trying to point out that Azalea was good at putting up a facade. In fact, Michael knew that she was cunning too, so he asked, “What should we do then?”
“Let’s come up with a plan slowly.”

So why should I continue waiting?”

Micheal understood what William was trying to say clearly and laid down disappointedly. “Why did you come here then?”
William replied, “I’m here to stop Mason. He will definitely not stand still and do nothing since Elizabeth ended up this way, so I want to wait for him to show up and see if I can meet him.”
“Huh? Do you think the Elizabeth will tell Mason about the secret?” Michael retorted.

After William finished speaking, his phone rang as Valeria was calling him. “Honey, Mason asked me to meet him!”
