Talitha had never been so humiliated before. When she left, she thought that Archer and Gavin would stop her from leaving. However, everyone in the room treated her as if she was invisible.
Except for Paisley, who followed her out, no one cared about her. After she was safely inside her car, her tears started streaming down her cheeks uncontrollably.
As she saw this, Paisley took out a tissue and handed it to her. “Talitha, don’t be angry!”
“How can I not be angry? Look at my grandfather and uncle. How could they do this to me? Valeria is just a b*tch some woman gave birth to, so why are they treating her like something precious?! And what’s with William? Doesn’t he know that he and Valeria and relatives? I don’t believe they’ll get married that easily!”
Talitha and Paisley were classmates, and they were super close, so she did not hide Valeria and Archer’s relationship from Paisley and was cursing angrily.
Paisley sighed and helped Talitha wipe her tears. “I know you’re upset. Calm down first and let’s think of a way to get revenge.”
“What can I do? My grandfather and uncle are obviously helping Valeria.”
“Don’t you still have your aunt?” Paisley brought up Savannah as if she was someone powerful.
“Don’t mention her. If she were capable, Valeria wouldn’t be so arrogant now.” She said disdainfully.
“Even if your aunt doesn’t have the capability, don’t you still have Hayden? Why don’t you ask him to…”
She understood what Paisley meant. “Hayden probably ran out of ideas long ago. Otherwise, why did things end up like this?”
This made Paisley silent for a moment, as it was true that there was nothing that Hayden could do. Otherwise, with his hatred for Valeria, things couldn’t progress to such a degree.
However, it wasn’t that Hayden didn’t have a choice, but he didn’t want to go against William. But now, if something were to make Hayden and William turn against each other, everything else would be much easier to deal with by then.
When Paisley thought of this, she pretended to say nonchalantly, “Don’t the Howard and Saunders family both care about their reputation very much? Regarding an uncle and a niece in a relationship… How will the Howard and Saunders family be able to face the public after the news gets out?”
Upon hearing her reminder, Talitha’s eyes lit up. “Paisley, that’s all for today. I’m going to look for my aunt to ask about the situation.”
Meanwhile, after the meal, William, Valeria, and Abbie were ready to leave. Oreo followed Valeria and was asking for cuddles, but William pushed it aside and said, “Hey, fatty, get out of here. My wife’s shoulder is in pain, so she doesn’t have time to pay attention to you.”
Seeing William push his precious cat aside, Gavin was hurt, but there was nothing he could do. So, he could only walk over to pick up Oreo. “Her shoulder is injured. Don’t pester her anymore!”
William snorted. “I’m taking Valeria to the hospital for a checkup. Have a good night!”
After he spoke, he left with Valeria and Abbie without any delay.
Gavin sighed and shook his head at Archer, who had a darkened expression on his face. Archer was quite fond of Talitha, but his feelings towards her would definitely change if she had deliberately targeted Valeria.
How dare she! His daughter had no reason to be bullied by Talitha!
As he thought about this, Archer left the room to catch up with them, “I’ll go to the hospital as well.”
Gavin didn’t stop him. Later, Gavin, Raymond, and Andrew were the only ones left in the room.
Then, Gavin walked out with Oreo in his arms with the other two trailing behind him. When they arrived at the parking lot, Gavin left as soon as he got onto his car.
Andrew and Raymond got in the same car, and the latter felt a little depressed. “I don’t know why Talitha’s behavior was so bad. Valeria didn’t do anything to her, so why did she bump into her purposely? Andrew, it must be an accident, right?”
“I don’t know if it was an accident,” He shook his head. “But the entrance to the Wolf Group is wide and spacious. Talitha is not blind nor sick, so why would she bump into Valeria? It doesn’t matter if it was on purpose or not anymore. Raymond, just stay away from her in the future.”
He nodded. “It’s all my fault tonight. Valeria and uncle… William were so unhappy. My dad and my grandpa weren’t in the brightest moods either… It’s all my fault!”
“Don’t blame yourself. You didn’t have any bad intentions, and you had thought that others would be the same as you too. However, there are many evil people in the world. Your aunt and uncle are not good people, so how decent could their daughter be? Anyway, you just have to stay away from them in the future.”
Meanwhile, Valeria had refused to go to the hospital and insisted that she was fine, so William gave up after some time. After sending Abbie home, they went back to the villa.
As they arrived at the villa, William insisted on checking Valeria’s shoulder as soon as they entered their house. His face darkened instantly when he saw the big black bruise on her delicate snow-white skin.
“This is what you mean by fine?”
“It hurts a little, but it’s no big deal. I can bear it.”
His face darkened even more as he heard her say this. Then, he picked up his phone and called Marcus. “Get Talitha out of the Wolf Group Hotel right now!”
His orders startled her. “Baby, what are you doing? I don’t think…”
“How dare she stay at my hotel after bullying my wife? Who fu*king spoiled her? The Saunders family can spoil her all they want, but I won’t! Tell her to get out of there right now!”
William was so angry that he had even cursed aloud. On the other end, Marcus immediately obeyed and said, “I’ll get her to leave right now!”
Valeria looked at him carefully, whose face was full of anger, and said tentatively, “It’s really not a big deal…”
“This is not a small matter. She must have done it on purpose. You have not returned to the Saunders family yet, so she is still the apple of Gavin’s eye. After you step into the family, she knows that she won’t be that important anymore. Even a fool would know that she bumped into you on purpose. William did not believe that Talitha would just stop there. Her mother, Raelyn, and Savannah were the same kind of people. Savannah had boldly met with Valeria today, so Raelyn must have her own plans too.
There must be another reason behind Talitha’s sudden appearance in B City. After embarrassing herself tonight, she would definitely try to regain her dignity. However, Archer and Gavin would not help her, so the only person she could look for now was Savannah.
Thinking of Savannah, William sneered. He hadn’t intended to take action against her so quickly, but since Talitha came out of nowhere, it meant that he had to deal with the both of them in advance.
He picked up his phone and sent a message. “Ask Ronald to carry out his task immediately. The sooner, the better.”
