Chapter 429 Killing Him

Book:That Stranger Lying Beside Me Published:2024-6-1

William looked at Gavin with his arms crossed. He was not in a good mood to deal with him.
“Hey! I don’t like these two useless beasts. You’d better take them away, or I’ll get someone to sell them!”
Gavin stopped putting on an act now that Valeria wasn’t here. “William, let’s make a deal!”
“I’m not interested in it!” William rejected directly.
“If I agree to your marriage, could you get Valeria to accept…”
“Hah! Your approval doesn’t matter at all as it’s none of your business!” William refused mercilessly.
“You b*stard! I’m her grandfather, and I’m one of her closest relatives. How can you be so selfish? Aren’t you going to consider her feelings at all? Now that she has found her family, wouldn’t it be better for her to stay with us than being alone?”
“Aren’t you the lonely one? How can she be alone as our children and I will be together with her? She won’t waste her time and energy on people like you who are not related to her!”
He lost his pride as William was stubborn. “Look… William, I know that you’re angry. I admit that it’s our fault. Please help me, and I’ll agree to whatever you ask for!”
“Hah! How about staying away from Valeria then?”
“No way! You can ask for anything else except for this!”
“What’s the point of us continuing this conversation then?” William glared at Gavin. He didn’t want to disclose this secret, but Lamont and Gavin couldn’t keep it, and they had told Valeria the truth without his permission.
This incident had affected both William and Valeria. Things would get out of hand if William continued to let them have their way.
“How about I persuade your father to agree with the marriage, and you let her accept us. Is this okay?”
“Huh? Are you sure you can that?” William asked back.
“Yes. Leave it to me! Wait for the good news.”
“Well, I’ll help you if you manage to convince my dad.”
“Can… I make an exception? Could you let her spend some time with me so it would be easier for her to accept me?”
“No! I’m not a fool!” William refused.
“William, you don’t have to refuse me this quickly. Think about it as it will be good for you. For example, we can help to resolve any conflicts that you have with her, right?”
“Hah! Do you hope that will happen?” William asked with a faint smile.
“No! I just gave an example. Both of you will definitely live happily together in the future!” Gavin swallowed his pride and replied.
He knew his limits, so he had to stop now that Valeria had known all their secrets. Valeria was kind-hearted, and Gavin was stubborn. So, sooner or later, she would accept him.
He had no time to deal with the Saunders family anymore as he had something important to do.
Savannah and Charles had crossed the lines, so he had to punish them harshly!
The Saunders family was the best tool to trigger Savannah. He wanted to torture her and make her suffer greatly.
When Gavin rushed to William’s house with Oreo and Mocha, he was followed by the stalkers assigned by Charles.
After two hours, he came out empty-handed, while his two pets stayed inside.
After hearing the report, Savannah was surprised because she never expected Gavin to meet William as they were not familiar with each other.
Could it be that he went to see Valeria? But didn’t she already break up with William?
Was their break-up fake? It had to be! She was furious upon knowing this.
If Valeria was unharmed, this meant that Raymond was alright now.
Their plan had been completely messed up! Savannah was in a panic as she was unable to reach Raymond’s phone.
Was Raymond aware of her intentions?
Did Gavin visit Valeria brazenly because he was prepared to accept her into his family?
What should she do if that was true?
How could she witness Natalie’s daughter returning to the Saunders family? This would be the most embarrassing incident ever!
Savannah couldn’t stay still because she would never allow Valeria to stay in the Saunders family.
She couldn’t carry out her plans secretly anymore. Now, she had to confront them directly.
She suddenly thought of Hayden. He cared about his pride so much, so he would object if Valeria didn’t break up with William after returning to their family. Thus, she had to ask him to force Valeria to choose either to return to the Saunders family or stay with William.
She was sure that Valeria would not leave him because she loved him so much.
Therefore, Savannah decided to visit Hayden tonight to tell him this matter. She then ordered Dixie to buy some luxury gifts for him.
Dixie was always obedient to Savannah. She also knew that what Hayden was like, so she immediately asked the chauffeur to bring her out.
When the car arrived at the entrance of the gift shop, her daughter-in-law called. “Mom, Brandon’s missing!”
Brandon was her grandson. She had always favoured male children over female children. However, she had five daughters but only a son.
She was relieved that there was an heir to the family, so she expected him to marry someone who could give birth to many children. However, it remained the same as all his children were female. Thus, Dixie, who was cruel, forced his wife to do an abortion immediately after knowing that the baby wasn’t a male.
Finally, she had a grandson, so he was very precious to her! That was why she was shocked to hear that. “Huh? When did it happen?”
“Just now. I took him out to play around the sandbox, but he went missing after I picked up a call. I asked the staff to check the security cameras to look for him, but they were broken. What should we do now?”
Dixie’s heart skipped a beat when she heard her crying. “Could it be that someone was trying to kidnap him?”
“Huh? Who would they kidnap Brandon?”
“I’m not sure. Have you called Rodney?” Rodney was her son’s nickname.
His wife replied, “Yes, but he is busy. He asked you if we can plead with Mrs. Saunders so that she would help us.”
“Alright. You continue to find him with someone first. I have to complete a task that she gave me right now. I’ll go and tell her once I’ve done.”
Although Dixie was anxious, she didn’t think that anyone would kidnap Brandon. Maybe he went off to play by himself, so other people would find him soon.
She still controlled her anxiety and entered the gift shop. Then, the chauffeur moved the gift into the car. Suddenly, she received a text message. “Your grandson is with me. Follow my instructions if you want him to come back safely. Otherwise, I will kill him.”
