EPISODE HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN
THEME: The Booty Calls
MOON STONE FORTRESS
The scroll through his phone was becoming more boring as none of the ladies he was trying to reach out to were responding. Jayden hissed in frustration as he dropped the device back on the table. The sexual urge he was feeling had never been so great till this moment. Formally, he didn’t need to feel any certain urge before he gets pleased whenever he wanted to.
Picking up his phone again, he decided to call them instead. Two of them shouldn’t be busy enough to not pick their calls although he could understand why they weren’t replying his texts.
To his frustration, nobody, not even one of them picked up. Jayden was beginning to lose his mind. Something was definitely wrong. He thought. Since the day Jaylen got announced as the intended alpha, he hadn’t been able to reach out to his booty calls. And Jayden tried not to attach the situation with his inability to get the ladies to come to him.
Dialing the last on his list, Jayden hoped fervently that Sophie would pick up. He was tired of having to jerk off and wanted to fuck for real. When she picked up, Jaylen let out a long breath that he didn’t realize he was holding.
‘Hey baby!’ Jayden cooed into the phone.
‘Hey.’ Sophie sounded so distant.
‘How are you doing mama? I am down, you should come around.’
Sophie scoffed into the receiver. ‘I shouldn’t be picking this call. I just didn’t want to appear too rude and probably telling it to you would be better than avoiding you consistently.’
Jayden raised a brow in confusion. ‘What are you talking about?’
‘I won’t be coming, Jayden, not now not ever again!’
‘What the hell? Why are you all refusing to come meet me? It was never like this!’
‘That is the point Jayden. I want to believe I wasn’t the only one who was fucking you and taking all of your excesses just for nothing. You were thought to be the supposed Alpha and probably not just me thought we might get a chance with you when you get installed as the Alpha. But news flash baby, you aren’t even going to make it to the Beta list. So it won’t help to waste my precious time with you. I guess I have acted nice enough telling you this. It’s painful to have all of those times I spent go to waste though. Have a nice life Jayden.’
Sophie didn’t wait for his response before hanging up on him. Jayden stared at the phone screen in disbelief. Deciding not to listen to the nonsense being blabbed by Sophie, he dialed one of his booty calls named Clara.
‘Jayden!’ She sounded excited on the other line.
It made his palpitating heart calm down for a second. ‘Hey there mama. Miss me?’
‘I guess so.’ Clara muttered off key.
‘It has been long we spent time together. I would love to have you around.’ Jayden said.
‘Oh are you going to get reinstalled as the Alpha? Nah…I doubt cause rumors as it that the Upsilon has gone to bring back your brother.’
Jayden gritted his teeth violently. He didn’t need to be told what she meant. Her words were clear enough. He hung up before she could say anything further. Jayden tried hard to keep his anger at bay but it got out of control as he threw his phone on the table with a stormy rage. Angry tears clouded his eyes. Everything was Jaylen’s fault. All of these years, he has worked hard to hold up the Moon Stone Fortress legacy but they took it away from him the moment Jaylen walked back home.
Jayden felt cheated and betrayed! The Alpha position was his and he wouldn’t mind having to kill anyone to get his hands on it. His heart ached like he had just experienced the worst heart break ever.
Things are really spiraling for him, not just his only friend, but his family and the only source of pride for him; the ladies, everyone of them have turned their backs on him. To think none of them seem to be interested in having anything to do with him made it feel suffocating.
Jayden panted hard as he paced back and forth with no idea of what he should do in mind.
Gabriella stood by the door way watching her grandson pull violently at his hair like he would rip it off. She had heard his conversation on the phone, and it is no longer news that he was being deserted.
Her heart went out to him, everything that has happened wasn’t Jayden or Jaylen’s fault. But it was beginning to seem like everyone intend to blame him for the situation at hand. The only thing Jayden appears faulty for was being too prideful of himself and thinking nothing could sway him from becoming the Alpha.
The Moon Goddess sure played her card well, it was one thing for the family to be apart. It was another for practically half of them to be depressed and totally worried about what would become of their lives.
Gabriella cleared her throat as she stepped into the room. She winced at how hard Jayden pulled at his hair and she feared he might rip out his scalp too.
“Jayden, baby.” She called out to him with her hands outstretched.
Jayden looked back at her with his eyes glazed with tear. “Grand…ma…” He called out, falling into her embrace and he sobbed hard on her shoulder. “I don’t deserve this.” He mumbled. More tears streamed down from his eyes.
Gabriella sighed heavily. “I know honey. I know. I wish there was something I could do to help you baby but it is beyond me.”
“Why does Jaylen get everything? I have worked so hard for this grandma. He is not here, still no one will pay me any mind. I didn’t do nothing.” He sniffed.
Gabriella cupped his face in her worn out hands. “Please wipe your tears honey. I promise it will get better so don’t get consumed by bitterness. You are handsome and brilliant baby. You don’t have to cry. Is that okay?”
Jayden sniffed loudly as he wiped the tears off his face. “Thanks grandma.”
“Anytime my baby. Come let’s go have some cookies that I baked myself.” She said, holding his hands and guiding him out of the space.
Jayden let himself be pampered by her. It has been a long while since he got such attention.
