MARCELLUS POV :
I woke up the next morning and got ready for school, my mum, Luna Camille had already told me to be very careful due to things that were happening recently, my dad had already left home concerning the issue. I met Alex already in the car, waiting for me and there was an extra guard/warrior in the front seat. I just wonder how today is going to go, doesn’t look too good. I and Alex talked about the matter on our way to school and decided to call our Vampire friend, Caleb later. Caleb was a vampire from our Vampire ally clan, Lord Dimitri’s. Maybe we could get little information on what’s going on, that could help.
We had met Caleb some years back when I, Alex and our dads went to see Lord Dimitri, we pressed on to go with them an that’s how we met Caleb, he was very cool and nice, despite being a vampire and we didn’t mind. We became friends from that day.
We got to school and instantly knew that something was wrong. Our ride was going to wait for us, to keep an eye on I and Alex as the city was no longer all that safe.
Walking into the school there were whispers about different things, I used my werewolf hearing to try to get what was being said among the students and all I could get was talks about someone missing and all sorts.
“Alex anything new?”, I asked Alex as he also shooked his head saying he’s only hearing the same thing I heard. We walked into the hall, more whispers upon whispers.
We sighted Charlotte who rushed towards us and we exchanged greetings.
“What’s going on?”, I asked her, as I watched the behavior of other students.
“Chase was missing since yesterday after school and this morning, he was found in front of the school gate asleep” she informed us quietly. ” He’s parents looked for him all through the night with some police force but the police they sent, came back with nothing. So I heard but he’s back now, I don’t know when he will resume school, no one knows what happened, his closest friends who called him said Chase is now awake but didn’t remember what had gone down last night and how he got to the school gate”, my suspicion piked up as I listened to her. Will it be the vampire my dad talked about? But Chase is human?.
**Meanwhile, Last night**….
The boy was awaken with a splash of water on his face. He jolted up quickly opening his eyes and staring into the darkness but something kept him back in his place, he noticed that he was tied up to a chair. He struggled and struggled but he couldn’t get out, he’s mouth was gagged and all his screams were muffled.
“Calm down human”, a scary voice that sent shivers all over the boy’s body said. The boy became very scared as tears rolled down his face. The voice of this person sounded very inhuman and the boy couldn’t make out who it was.
“I’m going to remove your gag, be a pretty boy and don’t scream. So that you don’t end up dead”, The man warned, “do you understand?”.
The boy nodded his head and the man then removed the gag, making the boy gasp a bit.
“Why don’t I turn out the light, so you can see my face clearly hmm?”, The man didn’t need the scared human boy to answer as he turned on the light revealing himself and then smiled, his sharp shiny tooth revealing itself.
“You see, your just here to answer some questions. I don’t want to kill you, your not my problem. So all you have to do is tell me what I need to know, when I ask you and you will still be able to breathe but if you by any chance lie to me or keep anything from me. I’ll make your death slow and painful”, tears rolled down the poor boy’s face as he took in all what the scary looking man said.
“Now let’s begin!”, the man said as he clasped his hands together and grabbed a seat, sitting close to the boy.
“When I first saw you, I wanted to ignore you but there was a smell I got from you. A very strong, unique smell and in all my years I haven’t come across anything like that before. So I need you to give me information about the last person you touched or whatsoever”.
The boy stuttered as he explained that he had been around many people and didn’t exactly know who the strange man was talking about.
“No no no, think, any strange person that has a kind of aura or something”, the man pressed on, he was determined to get what he wanted and finally the boy told him about a new student that seemed orderly challenging. The man smiled at the boy and Pat his head, signalling that the boy had given him what he wanted.
The man then made the boy look at him in his eyes and compelled the boy to forget everything that has been said and seen. After that the man dropped the boy off in front of his school the next morning and disappeared without anyone noticing him.
**Back to the present and Alpha Aiden’s side**….
Alpha Aiden had gotten news from his Beta, Liam that the human boy who had gone missing has been found in front of the Forks High Academy and after the information from the meeting and it was over, he went back to his Pack.
Getting there, Liam told him what he needed to know and they needed the help of a witch to get what they wanted.
So Davina was summoned, and they made a plan. She was going to pretend to be a detective and Alpha Aiden, will pretend to also be one too and when the plan was ready, they left to the boy’s house.
Reaching there, they met the boy’s parents and introduced themselves as detectives, they were very convincing and they were let into the home.
The boy’s parents and the boy who they found out that his name was Chase, sat in the sitting room with them and within a blink, Davina put them to sleep and then started her work on the boy.
She placed her hands on the boy’s head to get information, it was a bit hard but finally she got something and turned to look at Alpha Aiden.
“He’s coming for Marcellus”.
