MARCELLUS POV :
“No buts, just do it don’t worry and you look like someone who’s just playing cool. Sometimes you need to let out your cool die and show them who you are”, Charlotte smiled at us grateful and we returned her smile.
In the world of werewolves, Omegas are the lowest ranked members of their pack. They are often seen as weaker and less dominant than their Alpha and Beta counterparts.
Omegas are born into their status, and most of them, they earn it through their behavior and actions. They may have been Alphas or Betas at one point, but due to a loss of power or a failure to maintain dominance, they have been demoted to Omega status.
In a pack, Omegas are assigned menial tasks and are often subjected to ridicule and bullying from the higher-ranked members. However, they are still a vital part of the pack and play a crucial role in maintaining order and balance.
Despite their low status, Omegas have the potential to rise up and reclaim their position. Through strength, cunning, and determination, an Omega can earn the respect of their pack and regain their former status.
In conclusion, Omegas may be seen as the weakest members of a pack, but they should not be underestimated. They have the potential to be powerful and influential in their own right and can play a significant role in maintaining the balance of the pack.
An Omega’s mate is a significant aspect of their life. A mate provides support, companionship, and a sense of belonging for the Omega. The bond between an Omega and their mate is considered unbreakable and is often seen as a symbol of strength and unity within the pack.
An Omega’s mate is often an Alpha or a Beta, as they are typically the ones with the power and status to form a bond with an Omega. However, it is not uncommon for an Omega to form a bond with another Omega.
The bond between an Omega and their mate is not just a romantic one, but it is also a spiritual and emotional connection. The two individuals share a deep understanding and sense of empathy towards each other, and they are able to sense each other’s emotions and thoughts even from a distance.
Having a mate also brings added protection for the Omega, as the Alpha or Beta mate will fiercely defend their bond and their Omega from any threats. This bond also provides the Omega with a sense of safety and security within the pack, as they know they have someone who will always have their back.
In conclusion, an Omega’s mate is a crucial part of their life, providing support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. The bond between an Omega and their mate is unbreakable and is seen as a symbol of strength and unity within the pack.
And also when an Omega enters into heat, it can be a challenging and intense time for both the Omega and their pack.
Heat is a biological and hormonal state in which the Omega experiences a strong urge to mate. During this time, their instincts and emotions are heightened, making them more vulnerable and susceptible to outside influences.
In order to ensure the safety of the Omega and the pack, the Alpha may enforce strict restrictions and confinement during the Omega’s heat cycle. This is to prevent the Omega from acting impulsively and potentially endangering themselves or others.
For an Omega without a mate, the heat cycle can be a difficult and lonely time, as they are unable to fulfill their strong urge to mate. The pack may assign a temporary mate for the Omega to help ease their discomfort and provide them with the physical and emotional support they need, But most omegas/werewolves prefer their mate and all. It can differ with the person etc.
It is important for the pack to support and care for the Omega during their heat cycle, as the outcome can have significant impacts on the Omega’s emotional and mental state.
In this case, Charlotte is an omega, a mateless one, she hasn’t found her mate yet but she has transformed to her wolf form already. And as we spoke about each other, she started acting weird, I could perceive something strange and she also felt it, so did Alex who was looking at Charlotte weirdly.
I and Alex asked her if everything was okay and she said she was fine. But suddenly, she said she felt a weird sensation in her body, an itch that she couldn’t seem to scratch. She shifted in her seat, feeling uncomfortable and agitated. What’s the problem now with her?
As we continued talking, trying to get her mind off the way she felt , like she insisted we do, it seemed like the sensation grew stronger and Charlotte found herself struggling to concentrate. She felt hot and restless, like she was boiling from the inside out. She started to fan herself, trying to cool down, but it didn’t seem to help, we started getting more concerned about what was going in and we didn’t want to draw attention to our table.
Charlotte seemed confused and couldn’t understand what was happening to her. She had never felt like this before, she said. Suddenly she stood up, feeling stuffy and looked like she was having trouble breathing. She stood up, trying to get some fresh air, but she stumbled and nearly fell over and Alex caught her right on time.
Some students were already looking at us, wondering what was going on.
I spotted Derek, who looked at us suspiciously like we were doing something wrong. Charlotte then dragged I and Alex, as she leaned on us for support. Her leg was shaking as she felt very weak, her scent almost getting out.
She finally got us into a very quiet place in the school. I wonder how this place got here, it was nice though. Just empty.
“Okay we understand you want us to go to somewhere where no one is and we are now. Tell us what’s going on?”, I asked her.
She turned and look at us as she sat on the ground close to the wall, her eyes closed, “I’m in heat”.
