Marcellus can be a bit cold when he wants to be but so far he was looking forward to the experience at the new school and so was Alex. In preparing for resumption, Marcellus and Alex as best friends and they were preparing for their new academic session. They both were somewhat happy to start their new school year and were looking forward to meeting their teachers and maybe making new friends. They had received their school supplies list and were determined to get everything they needed for the new term.
Marcellus and Alex went to the nearest bookstore together. They bought all their textbooks and exercise books as per the list given to them by the school. They made sure to get all the necessary writing materials such as pens, pencils, highlighters, and erasers. They also picked up some cute stationery items for their school notebooks.
After purchasing their books and stationery, they went back to Marcellus’s house to arrange everything in their school bags. They made sure to pack all the necessary items and were ready to go back or use for school.
The two friends were excited to start their new school year and were looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that awaited them. They felt ready and prepared for the new term, and were confident that they would do well in their studies and they also hoped that everything will go smoothly and no issue will arise whatsoever.
“I see you boys are excited to start school?”, Luna Camille said as she peeped into the Marcellus room, where him and Alex were arranging their stuffs.
“Yes mum but not like OMG OMG excited”, Marcellus added, earning a light playful punch from his best friend.
“Don’t mind him aunt Camille, we love the idea”, Alex said, covering up what Marcellus had said.
Luna Camille Chuckled and ruffled their hair.
“Mum!!!!”, Marcellus groaned trying to escape.
“Your still my little boy but I don’t understand why your growing do fast”, Marcellus mum, Camille asked her son.
“I’m supposed to grow mum”, Marcellus laughed at his mother, Alex also joining on the laugh.
Camille Chuckled at the two boys, “I see you guys find me very amusing and your backing each other up. How about I go get my own husband to back me up?”, she smirked and said.
The two boys, Marcellus and Alex held in a laugh that wanted to come out and shook their head, but within seconds Alpha Aiden, Marcellus dad came into the room.
Camille raised her hand in surrender, “I didn’t call him”. They all laughed at the sight they behold.
“So you guys are laughing at me now! I see”, Alpha Aiden chuckled, but they assured him that it wasn’t him.
So then Alpha Aiden informed them about the dinner and that Alex needed to go he to prepare for it. Added nodded and bid goodbye to them and left for home, were his mum was waiting for him.
The family of Alpha Aiden and the family of Beta Liam prepared for the dinner, excited to spend a lovely evening together. Aiden’s family that were going were him, Camille’s and their son Marcellus, while Liam’s family was him, his wife Samantha, and their son, Alex.
As they all got dressed and ready, everyone was indeed excited to spend the evening together and talk together and also eager to go out and have a good time. Everyone was looking good while preparing. Liam’s wife was in charge of the reservations, and she had picked a nice restaurant that was known for its delicious food and warm atmosphere.
Once everyone was ready, they set out for the restaurant. Alpha Aiden and his family in his car and Beta Liam and his family in their own car and heading to the restaurant together. The drive was short, and before they knew it, they were at the restaurant. They were shown to their table, which was set in a cozy corner by a fireplace. The warm glow of the fire added a comforting ambiance to the already inviting atmosphere.
Everyone settled into their seats and perused the menu, deciding on what they wanted to order. Marcellus and Alex were fascinated by the dishes, but the ones they haven’t heard about but nevertheless, they ordered what looked good and the parents couldn’t help but smile at their excitement. When the waiter came to take their orders, everyone was ready and eager to dig into the delicious food. The food was indeed very nice and delicious. Very good.
The dinner was a huge success, with everyone enjoying their food and each other’s company. Marcellus and Alex were full of energy, laughing and chatting with each other, while the adults caught up on each other’s lives and reminisced about old times. It was a night filled with love, laughter, and good food, and everyone was grateful for the opportunity to spend time together.
As the night came to an end, they all hugged and said their goodbyes, promising to do it again soon. The families of Aiden and Liam parted ways, content in the knowledge that their love and friendship would only continue to grow stronger. They each went back to their pack, The Phoenix Pack together but then to each other’s home.
Getting ready for the night, Marcellus showered, freshening up and putting on something comfortable for him to sleep on. A knock came on the door and his mum, Camille, came in.
“Hey sweetie”, Camille said walking over to Marcellus.
“Mum”, Marcellus smiled at her and sat up on his bed.
“Did you and Alex discuss the time you would be leaving tomorrow? don’t want you guys being late on the first day”, Camille teased.
“Yes yes we did mum, I guess he will meet me up here and then we will go together and I can meet him up at his house, whichever”, Marcellus explained to his mum.
Camille then held her son’s hand, smiling “so are you ready for tomorrow?”.
