At the Phoenix Pack, Luna Camille had been pacing through the whole house, she couldn’t even eat anything as she had lost her appetite.
“Sit down and be calm Camille”, Aunt Abigail advised her but Camille was stubborn and wouldn’t listen.
“They should be back by now Aunty. They have been gone for so long”, Camille said worriedly.
“You don’t expect it to be easy Camille, sit down and relax. They are going to be here soon enough”, Aunt Zara said as she took Camille’s hand and led her to the sitting room and on a chair.
Luna Camille, her aunt’s Zara and Abigail were with her in the sitting room.
Soon enough, Samantha and Alex walked in. Alex quickly rushed to Luna Camille and hugged her. Camille hugged him back smiling widely and whispering words to Alex to make him not to worry.
They filled Samantha in everything that was happening and how it was going. Samantha then made Camille eat some food as it was already late and Camille still hadn’t eaten anything.
Suddenly Camille felt a sharp pain, that made her stand up from her chair so fast.
“I felt it aunty, they hurt him or something. I felt it and I feel like something is wrong”, tears streamed down Camille’s face as she got more worried about her mate and child.
They all tried calming her down but she wouldn’t listen, “I’ll stay calm but if they aren’t back in some time, I’m going to get my mate and son”. Camille said as she sat back down and relaxed.
Everyone was praying and hoping the mission turns out successful and everyone was safe.
Meanwhile…..
Marcellus had been going round and round in this huge building, he seemed lost and couldn’t find a way out, he was already feeling so frustrated and wanted to cry because he was so exhausted with everything that has happened.
Marcellus decided to take deep breaths and calm down to use his werewolf hearing to see if he could hear something or any sounds that could lead him out of the place.
He calmed himself down and listening intently, he remembered what his father had thought him and put it into practice. Soon enough he could hear voices coming from a direction. Marcellus walked towards the voices he heard and finally made out one to be his father’s voice. He quickly rushed and then witnessed his father getting stabbed.
“Dad?”. Everyone turned to see who it was and Alpha Aiden’s eyes opened in surprise at seeing his son. But unknown to them Marcellus was already upset with what he saw and he was scared and all his emotions started rushing. Ryan and Laila’s parents couldn’t move. The guards/bad people who joined in kidnapping him, wanted to attack but they couldn’t, each of them started coughing, smoke came out from their mouth as they coughed. It was as if Marcellus was burning their insides slowly and painfully untill they all dropped down one after the other.
When all of them fell to the floor, Marcellus was feeling dizzy and closed his eyes , falling to the floor. Alpha Aiden rushes to his son and held him in his arms, trying to wake him up but Marcellus wasn’t opening his eyes.
He gave a signal and his Beta and warriors rushed in. The stopped and looked around to see all the people, they wanted to fight already dead.
“Quickly come!”, Alpha Aiden called out as Liam rushed to him.
“What happened?”, Liam asked Aiden as he looked at Marcellus trying to figure out what went wrong. Liam then saw Marcellus necklace and wore it back on Marcellus neck, thinking it will wake him up but after some seconds, nothing happened.
Alpha Aiden was already very worried, he had no idea what to do now.
“Aiden Aiden”, Liam called out but Alpha Aiden seemed to be lost in his thoughts, so Liam tapped him to bring him back.
“I’m sorry”, Alpha Aiden muttered.
“I don’t know what it is your thinking but we need to get Marcellus back to the Pack as quickly as possible”, Liam suggested as Alpha Aiden nodded and agreed. He carried his son and rushed out to were his bike was parked.
He placed his son on the bike and sat down. Marcellus was placed in way that he was laying on his father’s chest.
“Is that comfortable enough?”, Liam asked as he helped Alpha Aiden keep his son, Marcellus in a comfortable posting for the bike ride.
“Yes it is, thanks bro”, and with that Alpha Aiden roared the bike engine to life and made way to his Pack.
The rest of the Pack warriors got on their own bike, including Liam and left too. They all decided to also use a bike for the mission.
They were meeting up with Alpha Aiden as they reached the pack borders and went into the Pack. Reaching the front of his house, Alpha Aiden parked his back and carried Marcellus, rushing into the the house.
Camille quickly rushed out and met her mate, carrying her son who was responding. She panicked and asked , “what’s wrong with him?”.
“I-i don’t know Camille”, Alpha Aiden answered as he laid Marcellus on an empty chair in the sitting room.
Alex was already crying again scared that his best friend won’t wake up. Liam had come and held his son, telling him that everything will be fine with Marcellus but no one knew what was wrong.
Alpha Aiden immediately ordered for the healer to be brought to the house that minute, meanwhile Camille sobbed quietly as she caressed her little boy’s hair. She wished she could actually kill the people who took him with her own hands.
The healer came soon enough and Camille gave her way to do her job. After like what seemed like hours, the healer got up and look at them.
They kept staring at her, waiting for her to say something or give them some information about Marcellus.
“So? What’s wrong with him?”, Alpha Aiden asked.
