One night, Nara stepped into the shower, letting the warm water cascade down over her body. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she felt the tension flow out of her body. She could feel the steam rising up around her and the droplets of water on her skin, like tiny little bubbles.
Nara reached for the bottle of shampoo and began washing her hair. She ran her fingers through her long dark hair, massaging the shampoo into her scalp. She then rinsed her hair, letting the suds swirl down the drain.
Next, she grabbed a bar of soap and began lathering up her body. She slowly moved the soap over her arms, legs, torso and face, making sure to leave no part untouched. Once she was done, she washed off the soap and stepped out of the shower.
Nara, grabbed a towel and began drying herself off. She ran the towel over her body, drying each inch of her skin. She then took a moment to inspect her body in the mirror, to make sure she was looking her best.
Once she was satisfied with her appearance, she began to dress herself. She pulled out a dark green dress that was soft to the touch and had intricate stitching along the hem. She paired the dress with a pair of black heels.
Nara grabbed a pair of black earrings with a silver trim and put them on. She then grabbed a black choker with a silver chain and put it around her neck. Lastly, she grabbed a black shawl and draped it over her shoulders.
She was now ready to take back what was rightfully hers. She was headed to the Couturie Forest in New Orleans.
As the sun rises over the city of New Orleans, the Couturie Forest comes alive with the beauty and mystery of the natural world. Towering cypress trees and ancient oaks reach towards the sky, their trunks and branches forming a canopy that provides cover from the sun and rain. The path through the forest is wide and inviting, inviting visitors to explore the wonders of the forest. But no one could go in without being scared, it might be inviting but it was also a dangerous place to go into
The air of the forest is thick with the smell of moss and the sweet fragrance of wildflowers. Birds sing and flitter between the trees, their songs and melodies melding with the sounds of the wind rustling through the leaves. Butterflies and dragonflies flutter through the air, their wings reflecting the light in a rainbow of colors.
The forest is home to a multitude of wildlife, from the curious armadillos to the graceful deer. The water is crystal clear and inviting, perfect for a swim on a hot summer day.
The Couturie Forest is a place of beauty and serenity. At night it was a very dangerous place to be in. This was the place Nara was headed too at night.
She was going to pay her fellow witches a visit and Nara was certain they would be there. Of course she was the one who led the coven and made the rules.
Finally Nara got to her destination, she stepped into the coven with a confidence that resonated like a thunderclap. Every witch in the room turned to look at her in surprise and awe, their eyes wide with admiration and respect. It was like a mall hall built for their meeting.
Nara’s face was beautiful and stern, with an unwavering gaze that seemed to see straight through to the soul of every witch in the room.
She slowly made her way to the center of the room, her eyes sweeping across each of the witches as if searching for something. When she reached the center, she stopped and all of the witches in the room bowed their heads in greeting and reverence.
She spoke in a voice that was strong and clear, her words rolling out like thunder. “Greetings, my sisters. I am back as you can see, I’m sure you all heard what happened to me but I have returned and I am willing to continue things from where I left them”.
The room was silent as Nara began to search the faces of the witches in the room. She seemed to be looking for something, her gaze lingering on each witch for a few moments. Someone was giving her on off vibe.
Finally, her gaze fell on a witch coming into the room. She was wearing a simple white dress and a simple circlet of silver around her head. Her eyes were wide and filled with a fierce determination, and her hands were clenched tightly at her sides.
“You shouldn’t be here”, the witch on white told Nara, “I own this place now, leave!”.
Nara only looked at the witch and laughed, “you own the place I built, you? Can you hear yourself?, You sound funny”.
“I’m back and I’m taking back my position. I’m grateful for you stepping in while I was gone, sure you knew that would be temporary. So this should not be a surprise to you”, Nara said to the witch firmly.
“You cannot just disappear and come back, then think everything will be how you left it Nara”, the witch argued.
“I see that you have grown lots of courage to say my name with so much irritation and disrespect. I am still your elder and you will show me that respect”, Nara’s voice boomed in the room as she warned the witch.
But the witch wasn’t planning on giving up that position just easily. Nara could tell that the other witches were glad to have her back, she had protected and cared for them and they were still loyal to her. It made Nara very glad. The witches couldn’t help her when she faced her problems, it was already too late for them too, but now she would explain everything to them. Though they might have heard few things.
“Why don’t we let out fellow sisters here choose who they want to be their Leader?” The witch on white suggested, to which Nara agreed without complaints.
One of the witches in the coven offered to call the shots. She said, “All in favour of Nara Inadu being your leader again, make a red fire and all in favour of Stella being your leader, make a blue fire”.
