CAMILLE’S POV :
I held his jaw, bringing his face to mine, “I’m letting you go, I don’t know why but I’m letting you go. I won’t be so nice next time you say something like that to me”.
“Are you able to walk on your own?”, I asked him, seeing as he was in pain. He nodded his head and thanked me for having mercy on him.
“Just go to the pack hospital and have a check up”, I instructed. The guy nodded his head as he left the area.
“You will make a good Alpha”, Liam commented, making me smile inwardly but I didn’t show it out.
After the training was over I went back to the office with Liam, nothing had changed. It was the same as when Aiden was here and I would leave it like this, cause I like it this way. There was nothing to be changed.
I sat down on my Chair behind the desk and told Liam to also have a sit.
“I forgot to tell you and the council about an agreement made with the Red Sky Pack Alpha”, I said to Liam as he listened attentively, ” I suggested for the land to be split up equally between our packs, which means we also have half of the land to ourselves”.
“That’s really nice but why? After all you fought for the Land”, Liam asked me politely.
“I’m the Alpha of the Pack now and I did what I saw fit and right by my Pack. I don’t think that was a bad idea”, I replied back, raising my brows.
“No I’m not saying it is a bad idea, just curious as to why you did it but that’s okay”, he stated.
I smiled softly and asked him to also fill me in on somethings Aiden was working on and stuffs like that, so we got down to work.
I and Liam were finally done with most of the work for today and were about to leave the office, when a letter came in.
“It’s for the Alpha”, the guard informed and I took the late, opening it.
I gave the later to Liam to read for himself.
“I’ll go freshen up and change. You get ready and round up few escorts”, he nodded. We headed out of the office, I going to my room.
I got into the room, undressed and got into the shower, washing myself. The water was just relaxing, I needed to lay my head down but this meeting needed to be attended too.
I finished showering and came out, drying my hair. What should I wear? I thought to myself as I went through my clothes in the wardrobe.
I ended up with a Black Jean trouser, and a red turtle neck with black short jacket and my black shoe. I looked at myself in the mirror , letting my hair fall down my back. I was content with how I look.
I went downstairs to see Liam already there, waiting for me and our ride was ready. We got into the car, headed to our direction. The ride was smooth and nice, Liam filled me on things about where we were heading too and I took note, grateful for the informations I got.
We finally got to the place, it wasn’t bad, nice environment. Coming down and heading inside, the guards there showed us the way to the room for the meeting. Liam by my side with some of our guards, while some waited by the car.
“Oh welcome, it’s good to have you here. Please take your seats”, the person who I assumed was the leader of the Vampire clan urged.
“I’m Lord Dimitri”, the man, introduced himself, taking his sit also. I introduced myself also and sat back, waiting for him to say what he had to say.
“You know, when I heard the Two Moon’s Pack had a new Alpha, I didn’t think it would be a woman”, Lord Dimitri laughed. I let him go on laughing like anything was funny, “and then I heard it was a woman, I had to see for myself. Like wow, Aiden let a woman bring him down”.
“I suggest you watch your mouth kind sir”, I slurred, visible irritated, “I just hope you didn’t make me come all the way here, only to waste my time and no one asked for your opinion”.
Lord Dimitri stopped laughing but it was replaced with a smirk, “I like you already”, he said.
“I don’t”, I spat bark, a sweet sarcastic smile on my face.
“No need to be rude Alpha, just trying to lighten up the mood you know. We don’t have to jump straight into business all the time”, Lord Dimitri stated.
I looked at him, shaking my head. Oh Goddess save me, cause I do not know what to do with this man.
“Do you maybe want to go out for dinner someday?”, To say I was shocked was an understatement.
“I’m sorry, what was that you said?” I asked him, trying to understand the shit he just vomited.
“With all due respect Lord Dimitri, you are crossing the line”, Liam added with a growl.
“I don’t think I was talking to you and who even asked you to speak boy?” Lord Dimitri raised his voice at Liam.
“Do not disrespect my Beta. I gave him the right to speak and since you have decided to waste my time. I will be taking my leave, I have better things to do anyway”, I signalled for Liam to stand up so we can leave but before we could go, Lord Dimitri called on us .
“Wait! Excuse my behavior and accept my apologies”, he insisted.
I turned back to him and nodded, “Apology accepted. Now can we talk about the Issue or?”.
“Well I wanted to talk about us being allies”, Lord Dimitri cleared his throat, continuing with what he was saying, “now that there’s a new Alpha, I wanted to be sure if we are still allies or there’s been a change of heart”.
“I’m speechless, I thought it was something serious Lord Dimitri, well it’s serious and We are still allies, though you almost pissed me off but nothing has changed”, I told him sincerely, earning a content smile from him.
“Excellent, I’m glad everything thing still stands”, Lord Dimitri proclaimed. After that, we left the Vampires home and headed back to ours. It had been a very long day.
