ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
It’s been 2 years since Camille left and those years have been hard for me. I stood my ground, but I still missed her. I can still remember the way her scent lingered on my skin and the feel of her mouth and body against mine.
I’ve tried to keep myself busy, leading my pack and keeping them safe. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t shake the feeling of guilt that has taken root in my heart. I know I am the one who made her leave. I hated her at that time or so I thought, I pushed her away with my coldness and my harsh words and with my treatments. I’ve never stopped looking for her but I never found her either.
I sat in my office, lost in thought. The weight of my responsibilities as alpha of the Two Moon’s pack weighed heavily on me, not that i was really complaining. Just as I was about to lose myself completely in my thoughts, my beta, Liam, came into my office and interrupted me.
“Alpha, it’s time to leave. We have a meeting with the Red Sky pack alpha about the land dispute.”
I nodded, grateful for the reminder. I had almost forgotten about the meeting. The land in question was a valuable piece of territory that both of our packs had claimed as our own. The meeting with the Red Sky pack alpha was crucial to determining the fate of the land and our packs and we have never liked each other.
As I stood up from my desk and grabbed my coat, I felt a surge of determination. I was ready to fight for what was rightfully ours and protect the interests of my pack.
“Let’s go,” I said to Liam as we walked out of the office
The drive to the Red Sky pack’s territory was long and tense. As we got closer to the border, I could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on me. Our packs had a long history of tension and conflict, and this meeting was our chance to finally put it to rest.
As we approached the border, we were stopped by a group of guards. They verified our identities and searched our car before allowing us to proceed. It was a reminder that tensions were still high between our packs, and that we needed to tread carefully.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we reached the Red Sky pack’s territory. The guards directed us to a large meeting hall where the alpha and his council were waiting for us.
As I stepped out of the car, I took a deep breath and steeled myself for the meeting ahead. This was it. The fate of our packs and the disputed land hung in the balance. I was determined to come out on top, no matter what.
As we walked into the meeting hall of the Red Sky pack, I , Liam and two of my council members, I could feel the tension in the air. The Red Sky pack alpha, Luke, and his council members were seated at a large table at the front of the room, their expressions cold and unfriendly. It was clear that they didn’t like us, and the feeling was mutual.
I introduced myself and my beta, Liam, and my two council members who had joined us. Luke, the Red Sky pack alpha, gave a curt nod in response, clearly unimpressed.
We took our seats at the table and got straight to business. I presented our case for the disputed land, outlining the reasons why it was rightfully ours. Marcus and his council listened in silence, their expressions stony.
When it was their turn to speak, Marcus argued that the land had always been a part of their territory and that they had no intention of giving it up. He accused us of trying to encroach on their land and steal resources that were rightfully theirs.
The meeting quickly devolved into a heated argument, with both sides unwilling to budge. I could feel my temper rising, but I knew that I needed to keep a cool head. This was a crucial moment for both of our packs, and I couldn’t afford to let my emotions get the best of me.
As the meeting stretched on, it became clear that a resolution was not going to be reached. Both sides were unwilling to compromise, and it seemed as if the dispute would continue indefinitely.
Finally, after several hours of heated discussion, no one agreed to back down.
“This is war Luke!” I announced as I and my people stood up.
“I accept this war Aiden. Leave my pack” he ordered.
“Till we meet again in battle” I bowed mockingly as I and my people left.
CAMILLE’S POV :
It’s been 2 years since I left the Two Moon’s Pack. It was the best decision I have ever made. Here at the Red Sky Pack I had made friends and family who cared for me and it was the best feeling.
My training was successful added to everything my parents taught me before they died, I was now one of the best warriors, if not the best in the Pack.
Before now I had challenged the head warrior to a fight and he laughed at me mockingly because he thought that I haven’t reached the stage to take him down but I shocked him as I brought him down.
Since that day I was appointed as the head of Warriors. Kevin and Kendra trained also, they were great.
My life so far has been going well until Alpha Luke told me that Alpha Aiden and some of his members will be coming here for a meeting. I was furious to even hear his name. Alpha Luke wanted me to keep out and not be seen, same with my aunt. Because he didn’t want another conflict adding to the one they had already with The Two Moon’s Pack.
After their meeting was over and saw them leave, I saw Aiden for this first time in two years and all I could feel was anger and hatred. I went to Alpha Luke’s office asking what happened, which he explained, and then I offered to help take down the Two Moon’s Alpha, Alpha Aiden. At first he didn’t want to agree but I convinced him that even though the war starts, I’ll come up with something to take Aiden down as I’ve been in the pack for a long time.
And finally Alpha Luke agreed and my journey to take Aiden down began.
