CAMILLE’S POV :
My aunt led me to a room, which she said was mine and it was beautiful, I was so grateful and she showed me where I could freshen up. I gratefully accepted the offer and went to take a shower. As I washed away the grime of the journey, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. I had been so worried about what the future held for me, but now that I am here with my aunt, I felt like everything was going to be alright.
After my shower, I towel dried my hair and came out of the bathroom to find that my aunt had already brought in a new set of clothes for me. I couldn’t believe how thoughtful my aunt was and felt a wave of gratitude wash over me.
“Thank you so much,” I said, as I picked up the clothes and held them up to myself. “These are beautiful.”
“You’re welcome, dear,” my aunt said with a warm smile. “I just wanted to make sure you had something nice to wear. Now why don’t you go ahead and get dressed. After you’re done, we’ll go out for some shopping.”
I couldn’t wait to go shopping with my aunt and explore this new place. I quickly got dressed and looked at myself in the mirror. I felt like a completely new person. I was excited for whatever the future held for me now that I am here with my aunt.
“I’m ready!” I said to my aunt.
“Great!” my aunt said with a smile. “Let’s go shopping!”
As we walked out of the room together, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement and hope for what the future held for me. I knew that with my aunt by my side, I would be able to face whatever challenges came my way, hopefully.
“Before we go shopping, let’s go grab something to eat,” my aunt said, leading me to the dining room.
As we entered the dining room, I saw two people sitting at the table. My aunt introduced them as Alpha Luke who was her friends mate, Luna Abigail. They were both friendly and welcoming and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of belonging as I sat down to eat with them. I bowed and greeted them with a smile as Introduced myself.
“So, tell us a little bit about yourself,” Alpha Luke said, as we began to eat.
I smiled and began to tell them about my life before coming to here to meet with my aunt. I talked about my parents and my childhood, and about the difficulties I had faced in recent years. Tears rolled down my face as I stopped eating and told them things but didn’t really give all the details.
They all felt sad as my aunt sobbed silently. I didn’t want her to feel the pain and held her hand, assuring her that it was okay as I cleaned my eyes and wiped hers too. Luna Abigail listened attentively, nodding and asking questions as I spoke. They offered their sincere apologies and offered for me to be part of their pack, The Red Sky Pack, which of course I accepted happily.
As I finished my story, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I had never told my story to anyone before and it felt good to finally have someone, more or less people to talk to about it.
“I’m so glad you’re here with us now,” Luna Abigail said, smiling at me.
I couldn’t help but agree. I felt like I had finally found my place in the world, were I will be accepted, loved and taken care off and I was excited to see what the future held for me.
“Let’s go shopping,” my aunt said, standing up from the table, when we were done with eating. “I can’t wait to show you around.
My aunt then turned to her friend, “Abigail, would you love to join us?”.
“It will be my pleasure seniorita” Luna Abigail said in a teasing tone, making Alpha Luke to chuckle and receive a playful punch from his mate.
“You girls enjoy yourselves and be safe” he said as we left him and went shopping!!!.
I smiled and followed my aunt amd Luna Abigail out the door, feeling like I had finally found my home.
Luna Abigail, I, and my aunt all came down from the car, which we drove in. The car belonged to Luna Abigail and she was the one driving. The sun was shining brightly and the streets were bustling with activity. We walked hand in hand, chatting and laughing as we made our way to the first store on their list.
As we entered the store, My eyes widened with excitement. I had never been shopping before and was eager to see all the different items available. My aunt smiled and led me over to the clothing section, where we began to browse through the racks.
I couldn’t decide what I wanted to buy. There were so many beautiful dresses, skirts, and shirts to choose from. I picked up a bright pink dress and held it up to me, twirling around to see how it looked. My aunt and Luna Abigail, laughed and nodded their head in approval.
Next, we headed over to the shoe section. Luna and my aunt helped me try on different pairs, and I finally settled on a pair of sparkly silver flats and some sneakers. I didn’t want them to waste much money on me but they wouldn’t have that.
As we continued to shop, Luna and my aunt showed me different items and taught me about different fabrics and styles. I was fascinated by all the different things I was learning and couldn’t wait to come back and shop again.
After several hours of shopping, we decided to take a break and grab some lunch. We sat down at a nearby café and enjoyed sandwiches and iced tea. As we ate, Luna asked me how I was enjoying the shopping experience.
“It’s been so much fun!” I exclaimed, being very grateful.
My aunt smiled and nodded. “I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Shopping can be a lot of fun when you’re with the people you love.”
While we went back get few more items, we called it a day as we packed our stuffs and headed towards the alley where we packed the car.
We were almost at the car when we got surrounded with five men with guns.
