That day

“Mrs. Adams, no matter how we look at it, we have no clue how we will obtain the CCTV from your brother; is there really nothing you can do to gain access to your firm and manage those records? We cannot go without the permission of the company’s owner.” As he told me this, the police detective stared at me. Randall hadn’t arrived yet, so he had no idea I was conversing with the cops. I didn’t even bring up his mother because I wanted to move on, but I couldn’t help but assume she was one of the suspects.
However, there has been no progress with CCTV since they are unable to proceed without the approval of the company’s owner. If I require a duplicate of the clips, I’ll need a tentacle within the office to assist me. As I was thinking, I remembered the woman who had helped me hide from Archer. I abruptly lifted my head, menacingly glaring at the detective, who I believe was perplexed as to why I suddenly stared at him.
“I think I know how we can acquire the CCTV footage without me having to go inside,” I say. “The only difficulty is that I don’t know how to contact the woman.” I know Archer’s security is stricter because of what occurred the day I went there, so I still have to wait all day just to see that woman.
The officer nodded at me and spoke again, as if he had a thought. “We will offer you assistance so that if your brother does something to you while you are waiting, we will help you,” he whispered to his other officers. They nodded a few seconds later, so I knew he had ordered them.
It was just a matter of time before they were gone, and Randall arrived just in time. Randall appeared to be in a rush as he walked down, and when he spotted me, his eyes were anxious, so I approached him to welcome him. I saw he was clutching a piece of paper as he approached me and looked up at him. Before informing me what the inside was, he raised that piece of paper.
“Here’s the paper I need to prove my mother’s innocence in your parents’ deaths, but…” I knew why he paused even more when his jaw clenched that I anticipated the next time he will say. I held his hand and told him he could say whatever he wanted.
“I talked to someone and that person told me that my mother was not the culprit of the crime and that she was just engaged in the explosion because your mother and father were arguing because of her that day.”
I hid in a corner again, just as I did when I first entered the company, so Archer’s guards couldn’t see me. I’m right in asserting that his security is stricter because I previously tried to break in here. I arrived too early to wait for the woman who helped me, but I have yet to see her. Because I already have someone with me, I’m no longer terrified of Archer’s guard and puppy. The cops never abandoned me. We’ve been waiting for a long time, but they can’t help me find her since they don’t know what she looks like.
It’s already noon, but the woman hasn’t passed by, or perhaps we didn’t notice her since we were drowsily watching at the entrance so we wouldn’t miss her arrival. I made my way to the white police cruiser. It looks luxurious, and you’d never guess the cops were inside. I stepped inside and joined them in their enjoyment of the air conditioning.
However, as soon as I got inside the car, the woman went by, so I slammed the door open and nearly fell to get out. When I realized the woman had entered, I came to a halt and hurriedly concealed. Fuck! We’ll have to wait a long time to see her again. I’m at a loss on what to do. I’d want to see the contents of the CCTV so that the true perpetrator may be identified. If we can’t acquire it, it’ll only be a matter of hours or days until Archer discovers that there was a CCTV that survived the blast. If we don’t get that, the proof, like the other evidence, just vanishes like a bubble, and justice for my parents will never be served.
I bit my lip really hard and merely felt my tummy since my stomach has been aching a lot recently. Charlotte didn’t even see us, and I had no idea where she was on the continent. I would not have had an issue if it hadn’t been for Archer and Helana. Randall was already aware that his mother was mistress, and that night I did nothing except respond to his anguish as a result of what he learned; I had no right to condemn him for a wrong he didn’t do, so instead of being enraged, I decided to understand things over which I had no control. It didn’t harm him, and it didn’t hurt me, because we learned it was painful for both of us, and as his wife, I wanted to sympathize with his suffering.
Ava contacted me while I was hiding and hoped the woman would still come out. I left Randle with her, and Randall had no idea I was heading here. We’ve gone through too much, and I don’t want to bother him any longer, so I’m going to solve the situation on my own. Hopefully, in the following years, we will be able to live without worrying about other issues, therefore I am focusing my efforts on resolving those troubles that need to be addressed. And I’ll be satisfied only when I get back to the firm that is truly for me. I didn’t think any longer and simply answered the phone.
“Are you still there Winter- NO!” Ava couldn’t finish what she was saying because of the background noise, and when I heard the ruckus of the two toddlers, I realized why she was bothering me. Randle’s head is obviously obstinate again, so I simply close my eyes in humiliation. He becomes more heinous as he grows older. My gut churned even more as I suspected he was battling with Ava’s daughter once more. Because Ava hadn’t returned to our call, I hung up and went to the police I was with. I can’t possibly leave Randle with others anymore.
When I knocked on the car window, the cops who were with me glanced at me. I scratched my head since I was the one who claimed everything was simple because I knew someone who could assist us, but I’m here now, leaving again because I need to see my kid, who is fighting with other children. The heat has made my head hurt, so I need to relax. I believe they can accomplish what they do because there are three of them. They can also eat in the vehicle.
“I have to leave home because my kid is calling; you saw the woman’s look earlier, didn’t you?” My countenance was apologetic, and I hoped they agreed.
“Of course! We’re disturbing you even though it’s our job. ” He startled as he sat down before saying anything, and my face brightened up since I could finally relax” Before departing, I thanked them and hurriedly stopped a cab, hoping that our situation would be resolved before the end of the day.
But when I got Ava’s home, it wasn’t only them that I saw. The man sitting and crossing his arms directly glared at me.
“That’s why you abruptly left the home; if I hadn’t returned, I wouldn’t have known you were heading somewhere I didn’t know about. I don’t care where you go, but whenever you go somewhere risky, you give me a headache. ” Randall’s voice was agitated yet gentle.
