Chapter Eighty-Six – Fight.
Rihanna’s POV
Have I been tricked by Chris?
The Lycan said he had understood his letter? Had he told Chris to drag me from Silver Pack!
I jumped down the tree. I never hid away from the Lycan in the first place, there was no need to use Chris and deceive me to come here.
He could have just come before me, himself. He was the coward.
“We both know I’m not scared of you! You are the one using cheap ways to get us together!!” I yelled as I marched towards him.
His eyes perked, hearing my voice, he snarled angrily coming towards the sound he heard.
I observed Edwin rush to his Alpha who was battling with the silver on his face.
I bet his skin had burnt from such toxic waste. Served him right!
Edwin dragged him to his shoulders and helped him flee the place. Great. So much for ‘I’d help you disarm the Lycan’. It had all been a lie.
“So let me get this straight, you want to kill me because I don’t want to heal you?” I asked, when I was face to face with Logan.
His eye bags had grown larger from the last time I saw him. Indeed the wicked shall have no rest.
“I’ll get what I want by killing you, no worries.” He chuckled, bringing his claws out.
I was all alone now, and I’d do the best I can. Hopefully, this Lycan will help me break my Alpha rank.
He swung at me and I slightly dodged his claws digging into my skin. I charged at him, aiming to throw him down.
But his hind legs stopped him from topping over. He held tightly unto my shoulders, trying to drop me down on my knees.
I held on, stopping his hands from pressing me down. Veins popped on my arm.
“You are quite young for a girl but I’d lessen you today!” Logan gritted.
Those words annoyed me and I added pressure to his arm. I didn’t want him touching me!
His claws dug into my skin and I bit my lips in pain. Seeing the stance wasn’t to my favor, I kicked his stomach making him release me.
At the weak point, I slapped him on the face with my claws and he went back, holding his scarred face. I held unto my injured shoulders.
He tried running to me with his sides. I smirked, taking one leg back for support, then initiated my barrier.
It took him off guard, like always, he bounced back, not with as much efforts as he used to. He was learning.
“Today, you die, Logan. No more mercy from me to you!”
He wiped the blood, running from the corner of his lips from impact with a rock. “Mercy? When did you show me mercy?
How ungrateful? “Letting you walk out of my prison was my mercy! You lost it after hurting my Beta and all those slaves!”
He scoffed. “That was pity not mercy!”
“Call it whatever! You have ran out of both!” I pointed my claws at him.
My fangs were ready to tear through his skin and I didn’t mind doing it while in human form.
We battled for minutes till I began getting tired of the clangs and growls.
Before he charged at me again, I initiated my barrier sending him away.
He grunted, clenching his fists and hurting himself. I smirked. “Perk of a Silver Wolf.”
He rose to his full height and a small part of me feared he was changing to his Lycan form but he only stretched.
“I can sense your fear, silver wolf. Don’t worry, as long as you don’t change to your silvery beast, I won’t go ‘Lycan’ on you.” He smirked.
How dare he mock me? I head-butted him, destabilizing him. He struggled with her hair and flung me to a tree, I landed on my feet.
Lana took over, scanning his body for any weak point then she grabbed a huge plank and dived up, landing it on his right shoulder.
He didn’t expect the jump and the direct assault on his almost broken shoulder. He staggered, holding the arm.
“There, I’d make sure I fully break that arm before killing you.” I dropped the plank on him.
As I came closer, with my claws stretched to end him, his hands went straight to my neck, tightening as it got there.
I scratched his hand, he only winced but his hand stayed firmly on my neck.
I couldn’t breathe, my claws went constantly on his hand. The blood splashed on my face but it didn’t faze him.
“Now, silver wolf, you’d know what real pain looks like. Then you’d taste death!” he barked, raising his claws to strike me.
I gasped for breathe, taking in as much as could enter. Before flexing my legs, making blood rush through them.
I shook my legs till my boots fell off, and with my toe claws, I stabbed on his stomach.
His hand on my neck loosened and I wrapped my legs around his neck, forcing him to the ground.
Due to my imbalance, we landed together, causing me to feel like fainting. My head was bleeding from hitting a stone.
I rose to my feet nevertheless. Logan was exasperating. “You little bitch… how dare you…”
“No, how dare you!” I picked the plank again but he rose up before I did and kicked it off.
Annoyed I swung my claws at him, getting his face but he punched me, and I fell again.
My head felt lighter and blurry. If I had a black out now, I would be at the mercy of this Lycan.
“No, no!” I kept on whispering, forcing myself up, even if a hole was on my head and was spilling out my life, blood.
But I fell again, I wasn’t sure if it was by Logan or my own body’s weakness.
“Pathetic! You don’t deserve the power of the silver wolf. And you’re being selfish by not giving it to who was worthy!”
Who did he refer to as worthy? Him? A trickster and murderer? Flashes of possible more deaths he will cause to my pack came to my mind.
Lana pumped her last bit of physical strength into me and I leapt off the ground. “You are the pathetic one.”
That was all I could say before breathing heavily. Maybe I should leave the talking till after he was dead!
He nodded, looking impressed. “You don’t want to die, right?”
He was damn right!
Someone had to make Chris pay. Also I’ve been declared dead once before, they won’t be a second time.
