“Ava, I know today is your day, so I have a surprise for you,” Lily said. She entered Ava’s room with a smile.
“What is it?” Ava asked. The other sex slaves who were taking care of Ava looked up too. It’s obvious they are all jealous of Ava, but as per their Alpha’s order, they are to listen to everyone of her demand. Alpha Jax threw in a bit of a threat. He told them if anyone should as much as hurt a hair on her, he would boil the person alive in a period of seven days.
“Tadaaaaaa!” Lily screamed and Ava’s mother came inside.
“Mom?” Ava whispered. Her mom smiled.
“Mom!” She screamed and pushed away those making her up and designing her. She rushed towards her mother.
“Slow down, Queen,” Lily advised as she move away from the road.
“Oh mother!” Both of them began crying. Ava did not leave her mom. She kept on wailing. Lily clapped her hands and ordered the sex slaves to leave the room.
“Lily, thank you so much,” Ava smiled with tears all over her face.
“Ah! Don’t thank me. It’s your husband you should thank. He said he needed to unite both of you on your happiest day. She has been here since yesterday,”Lily said.
“I am going to give you and your mom time for tete-a-tete. Will be back soon,” Lily excused herself.
“Ava! My daughter. How have you been? It’s so good to see you,” Luna Deal cried.
“Mom, same here too. I am happy. How is Junior?” Ava asked of her brother.
“Ah! He is in the pack. I could not bring him. But when I told him the truth about the things your father did, he cried and apologized. He said he loves you. And he sends his regards,” her mother said.
“Goodness. I would have love to see him right about now.”
“I bet he misses you too,” they hugged one more time.
“Ava, I am sorry I could not help you when you needed my help. I am sorry for being the weak mother you were used to. I pray to God that you will find happiness in your marriage,” Luna Deal prayed for her daughter.
“Amen! Mother, amen.”
“I think I will have to excuse you guys for a second. Let me look for Lily,” Luna Deal excused herself when Benjamin entered. Ava already told her mother about things that happened ever since she got to Alpha Jax’s pack. How he branded her and turned her to his sex slave. And she told her mother of Benjamin and everything else worth mentioning. Her mother knew who Benjamin was the moment he entered, and after few minutes of introduction, she excused herself.
“Oh! Mother. Lily, will be by the corner beside Alpha Jax’s office,” Ava cried after her mother.
“I thought he said you should call him by his name,” Benjamin teased.
“Can I ever be used to that?”
“Sure you will. You are the Luna after all,” Benjamin said.
“I am yet to become the Luna. It’s in a matter of minutes,” Ava laughed.
“Well, before then, I came to say my goodbyes,” Benjamin informed her.
“What goodbyes? Won’t you be attending my wedding?”
“Ah! Heaven shall fall if I do not attend it. But I feel like after the wedding and you go in with your Alpha, we might not have enough time to discuss before I leave,” Benjamin corrected her.
“Well, that’s true. Then we must bid each other farewell, for the mean time.” Ava hugged him.
“Thank you for being there for me when things were horrible. When the whole world was against me, thanks for being there,” Ava appreciated him.
“Hmm! Well, I have to say I am sorry for trying to use you at a point. I tried using you to get to Alpha Jax,” Benjamin said.
“So am I. I tried using you,” Ava said.
“But then, I fell in love with you,” Benjamin chuckled.
“So did I.”
“Then I stopped loving you when I saw Shane.”
“So did I. I stopped loving you when Alpha Jax proposed.”
“Maybe in that case, we only tried to use each other and never really loved each other,” Benjamin asked.
“Yeah, Maybe.”
“And I hope now, none of us owe each other anything other than friendship?” Benjamin inquired. Ava nodded. They let go of eachother. Ava sat on her chair. Lily rushed inside.
“Do you know the priests are ready? Proceedings have begun and you are the one we are waiting for,” Lily hurried her up.
“I haven’t done my make up!” Ava screamed.
“Where are these goddamn maids?” Lily complained.
“What? What do you need maids for when I am here. I am the first one who did her make up when she got here. So lemme do her last make up as a sex slave stepping into being a Luna,” Benjamin offered.
“I don’t want those ridiculous things you use to do,” Lily complained.
“Don’t worry, my lady. I know just the right thing to do for her.”
“We have ten minutes okay?” Lily said and she rushed outside.

“Well, at a point, she became your mother here,” Benjamin replied.
“You stupid big oaf, so you later came to your sense eh? I thought you would keep silly dallying around and not get yourself a woman,” Alpha Jax mother complained. She hitnhim on the head.
“See? I am getting married now. Tell your daughter to get married too,” Alpha Jax groaned.
“Eh? I am more at ease with her not married than you?”
“Why? Because I am an Alpha? I have more responsibilities than her?”
“No! Because she is more calm and wiser than you are, you oaf brain,” his mother insulted him.
“Mother, you do realise and I am an Alpha.”
“But you will still forever be my son. And I am glad that you have come to your sense. And you have decided to marry,” his mother smiled.
“See? I am making you proud, am I not?”
“Eh! Far from it. You made this poor girl suffer. Starting from how you made her some sex slave or what was it…”
