Book:Alpha's Puppet  Published:2024-5-31

Benjamin knows he has to find Shane Moss amidst the battle. And the problem is how to get out. Every wall guarding their face is manned. And there is no way they would open the door for him. There are some guards watching and serving as vigilante, by walking through the roads of the pack. They want to make sure no stray individual is trespassing.
Benjamin stood all day at the fence looking towards the gate and other entrances or exits. He noticed the frequency by which the guards pass. He made sure he does not stand out. He could not risk being seen checking those places out. He has already made his own plans and at night, Benjamin dressed in an all black dress. He covered his face and walked out of the palace. He walked to a part of the wall that it takes two minutes for the guards to check through. He got to that part, and jumped over to the other side.
Landing on the other side, he has to make sure he does not get seen by the guards of his pack or the soldiers of Shane Moss. He walked carefully till he feels like he is out of sight to the guards of Bond moon pack. And he began running towards Shane Moss’s pack. While running, he heard some footsteps behind him. He slowed down for a moment, before he sees tow werewolves coming at him, at full speed. He began running and hoping that he gets to Shane Moss camp before whoever they are, catch up with him.
The wolves chasing him threw a spear that passed him. It landed right before him. He ignored it and kept running. Another one came, and it slightly missed him. He began running in zigzags hoping they won’t get to him, and all of a sudden, a spear pierced him through his thighs, and pinned him to the ground.
The two werewolves slowed down and walk to him.
“You are a runner, aren’t you?” He growled angrily but they did not budge.
“Should we kill him or take him to the camp?” the biggest one asked.
“Take him to the camp, and we will have more fame for capturing a wolf. We don’t know who it is yet,” the smaller one said. The bigger one removed his spear.
“You should start healing,” he said.
“What is your name?” Benjamin did not say reply.
“Maybe he does not want to speak,” the bigger one said, smiling.
“Oh he will. He just needs to get to the camp.”
Both of them carried Benjamin to the camp. Some wolves were beginning to come out. The Alphas came out when they heard the cry of a werewolf and the laughs of werewolves.
“They make lots of noise, don’t they?” Shane complained.
“Can’t blame them. Give me a good cause to share wine together or kills together, and they will forget the enmity of years, between them,” Omarr said.
“You sound a lot like Zeeb now,” Rudolf laughed at Omarr. Adal rushed in.
“Come My Alpha, they caught a spy,” he announced.
“Ah! Nice. We could liven them up more,” Shane Moss laughed. He hurriedly stood up and rushed outside. He saw from behind how the wolves were taunting the man they captured. It amused him. He would soon join them, and later they would kill him.
He walked close to them. They made way for him and he saw the face of who they were taunting. He stepped back immediately. He look at who it is again and ordered them to stop.
“Shane!” Benjamin whispered before he fell face down.
“Get him to my room now, and bring me the healers!” He ordered.
Benjamin woke up without any pain. He woke up still in the middle of the night.
“He is awake, my Alpha,” he heard a man call. Shane entered immediately.
“Benjamin! How are are you feeling?” Shane knelt beside him.
“I am a wolf. I heal pretty fast, and I am feeling good,” Benjamin laughed.
“You were hurt pretty bad moments ago,” Shane laughed. Benjamin looked around. He saw men standing and smiling down at him.
“Oh! It’s the healers. I thought you might need them. But it seems my lion is still as gallant as ever,” Shane said.
“Your lion?” Benjamin said slowly. Then he smiled. Shane moss stood up and went to the healers. He appreciated them. He ordered them to leave.
“Why are you here Benjamin? Were you not safe within the wall? I was going to come get you,” Shane said.
“You came for me? I thought you must have forgotten me.”
“Tch! Forget you? Benjamin, every night since you left. Every morning and every new moon, you were always on my mind. I never for once forget you. I just could not come to save you earlier,” Shane Moss confessed. He moved closer to Benjamin, and grabbed his calm. He held them as light as he can.
“Shane, I missed you.”
“I missed you more, Benjamin. Look,” Shane removed his clothes and showed Benjamin his chest.
“Everytime I am worried about you. Or any time I get too deep in thought about you, my heart beats faster and my chest burns. You were always on my mind,” Shane laughed. Benjamin felt guilty for doubting Shane. It seemed even in Shane, the flame of their love burn brighter than it does in him. Benjamin smiled. He tried to sit upright. Shane rushed to him, and helped him.
“I am fine. I can stand,” Benjamin said. Both of them laughed.
