Chapter 399: Mary Houry Returns

Suddenly, a large group of people took the car and went back. But Alastair Angelo stayed. She had come a long way and couldn’t just leave like this.
“Everyone else is gone, aren’t you leaving?” Robin shook off Nina, who was clinging to his leg like a pillow.
“No.” Nina puffed up her cheeks, stubbornly holding Robin’s hand, and shouted, “The director hasn’t left, how can I, an actress, leave? That would be unprofessional.”
“What if I insist on you leaving?” Robin threatened.
“Then I’ll tell my sister that you have other women outside, huh, my sister, worried about your safety, told me that you are in St. Sunday. She asked me to come and check on you. This is how you treat me, driving me away.”
While saying this, she started crying again. Moreover, this time she brought up her sister, Elise. This left Robin with no options. Of all things, Robin was a man who feared his wife. He didn’t fear her anger, but her sadness. With that said, Robin couldn’t drive her away.
“Ah, forget it.” Robin sighed.
He was at his wit’s end. Unless he forcibly sent this young girl back, but with her temper, there was no telling what kind of trouble she might stir up. So, in the end, he decided to keep her around.
“Hehe.”
In the next second, Nina, who had been crying, suddenly burst into laughter.
She was an actress, after all, a graduate from an art academy.
And even after he agreed to let her stay, this young girl wouldn’t get up, saying she was too tired from sitting and needed to be carried for a bit. Robin had no idea what she was resting from, but in the end, he didn’t bother to argue.
So, they just walked on like that.
This girl wasn’t heavy, weighing around eighty pounds. Robin could carry her easily.
However, just as Robin was leaving, Mr. Willis came over to Alastair Angelo and said, “Miss, it’s very safe to stay with this man. He’s very strong, really strong, a hundred times stronger than me.”
“Really?”
Alastair Angelo was taken aback.
Was he really that strong? In her mind, Mr. Willis was already quite formidable. She hadn’t thought that Robin was a hundred times stronger than him. That was quite a concept.
“Miss, since you want to stay in St. Sunday, it’s safest to stay by that man’s side,” Mr. Willis added.
“Okay.”
This time, Alastair Angelo stepped forward, touched Robin’s shoulder, and asked, “Can I stay at your place temporarily?”
“Sure.”
Before Robin could answer, Nina jumped down and took Alastair Angelo’s hand, saying intimately, “Sure, sure, Miss Angelo, let’s sleep together.”
Alastair Angelo looked at Robin.
Although Nina had agreed, the final decision was still made by this man.
“Welcome.”
Robin nodded.
After all, she was Nina’s savior. If not for their intervention, Robin might not have arrived in time. So, Robin didn’t refuse.
The three of them hailed a taxi. Robin didn’t drive there; driving wasn’t as fast as his full-speed sprint. After all, he was Kisia’s strongest, so he had that speed.
However, they had just hailed a taxi when they noticed a car blocking their way.
A luxury car, worth over a million.
“Oh, isn’t that my niece? How did you get here?”
A head popped out of the car in front, it was Mary Houry, Snow Houry’s mother. She looked at them triumphantly and honked the car horn continuously.
“What are you doing here?”
Nina looked at Mary Houry. Although she wasn’t fond of her, she was still family, so she leaned out and asked.
“Well, isn’t this my son-in-law? He bought me a luxury car worth 1. 3 million because he was worried about my convenience. I think it’s not bad, what do you think? Isn’t my son-in-law great?”
Mary Houry asked cheerfully.
“He’s okay, I guess.”
Nina forced a smile.
Why did they have to run into her here?
The problem was, their car was blocked, and the driver didn’t dare to honk at the expensive car in front. So they were stuck there.
“Oh, by the way, niece, are you going to your brother’s place? He’s living in a slum right now, you might not be accustomed to it. You should go home early. Let your sister divorce him.”
Mary Houry laughed and said, laughing so hard she could barely contain herself.
“Oh, and she has offended Mr. Haynes, a prominent figure in St. Sunday. Tell him to be grateful, the big house is not his. He will never have the privilege to live in a big house in his life. After he divorces Elise, he will never find a wife again, destined to be a bachelor for life.”
Mary Houry vented spitefully.
The last time, she was frightened by Robin.
Later on, she went to inquire and found out that it was Robin, that little man, who had taken the credit. It was clearly something that Eliott Garner had done, but he insisted on claiming it as his own. In the end, the truth came out. It wasn’t Robin at all. Robin was just a little man. In her mind, if it wasn’t for Robin, then Rolf Haynes’s house wouldn’t have been given to Robin to live in. With the kind of person that Robin was, he could at most be a security guard. Even as a security guard in St. Sunday, he might earn a little more, but a poor man is always a poor man. He was bound to be unable to even get a wife. Even if he did get married, he certainly wouldn’t have someone as beautiful as Elise. He’d definitely end up with an ugly woman.
However, just then, a face appeared at the window. It was an extremely delicate face, oval-shaped, with a wide forehead, refined eyes, willow leaf eyebrows, and cherry lips that made one want to peck at them. It was a perfect face that made one’s heart flutter.
“Hello, I’m Alastair Angelo, I’m a director. I like Robin. It’s not just me who likes Robin, there are many women like me who like Robin. We are all in line, waiting for her to get divorced.” After saying this, Alastair Angelo turned her head back.
“Driver, let’s turn around.” Alastair Angelo said, leaving Mary Houry stunned. This woman was so beautiful, and she actually said that she also liked Robin and was waiting in line for Robin to get divorced. How could this be possible?
But then, as Alastair turned her head, under her gaze, she gave Robin a kiss and then gave her a provocative look, “Do you know what an alpha male is?” After saying this, the car left, leaving Mary Houry fuming, “What do you mean, ‘alpha male’? My son-in-law is the alpha male. Compared to my son-in-law, he’s not even worth a finger.”
