“Washing powder? Yes, washing powder.”
Only then did Marie Linton suddenly remember the washing powder. She hurriedly got up to fetch it.
Upon returning, she sprinkled some onto the stains. Instantly, the stains disappeared. Hanh, having witnessed this, asked curiously, “Mom, what is this? How did it remove the stains so quickly?”
“This is laundry detergent, specially made for washing clothes.” Marie Linton explained.
One of them explained with a serious look on her face.
The other listened intently with equal seriousness.
Robin, on the side, rubbed his forehead. He could hardly bear to watch. Is this how young ladies are raised these days?
Meanwhile, a man was returning home from outside. He was the head of the Linton family, Cain Linton, but he was currently frowning as he was faced with a difficult situation.
“Brother, it’s a small matter. I’ll talk to the God of War, it’s not a big deal.”
Beside him, there was another man, dressed in a suit and leather shoes, full of vigor.
This was Long.
At this moment, he was no longer the rascal he used to be, but a strong member under Evelyn Hall. This time he was not here for a mission, but simply to earn some extra money.
Cain Linton had initially supported the peace faction, thinking they were sure to win.
But no one expected that a Mr. X would emerge in the end, who turned out to be the God of War, Kisia.
Although in the end, he cast his vote for the war faction, he knew that he had previously been a peace faction member. No one knew whether the God of War was holding off on settling scores, prepared to do so after the fall, so he was truly terrified.
He had come specifically to find Long, a popular figure under Evelyn Hall. He spent a lot of money, inviting Long to dine at the best restaurants, sending gifts, real estate… As long as it was from Long, he accepted it, saying he would speak to the God of War for him.
However, he would never speak a word for him.
He wanted to live. Initially, he had been reluctantly persuaded by Evelyn Hall, thinking that following Evelyn Hall would lead to greater prospects. Who knew that in just one day, those greater prospects turned into gigantic ones.
He had made a fortune.
He had transformed from a small-time hooligan into a figure all the wealthy families of St. Sunday had to look up to.
He was very pleased.
But if he was asked to speak to the God of War, he certainly wouldn’t dare. He had had a dispute with the God of War and even fought him. Well, he was beaten up one-sidedly, but it still meant that their relationship was not good.
If he was asked to speak to the God of War directly, he wouldn’t dare at all.
The reason he promised Cain Linton now was purely because he was making empty promises.
As long as he agreed, there was no loss to him. Whether or not he actually spoke to the God of War, who knew? He didn’t believe anyone would dare to ask. Especially those peace faction families, who would surely quake in their boots at the sight of the God of War.
“Don’t worry, don’t worry. Who am I? I’m the top general under Silver Fox, I meet with the God of War every day. Rest assured, I can definitely speak on your behalf.”
Long patted Cain Linton’s shoulder, hurriedly comforting him.
“Thank you, brother.”
Cain Linton managed a smile, then entered the house with Long. He planned to host Long at home, but as soon as they entered, they found two security guards crawling out from the entrance.
They were the security guards from within the villa, heavily injured and seeking medical help.
They feared if they didn’t get medical attention soon, someone might die.
“What happened to you guys?”
Cain Linton was stunned at the sight. Weren’t these his family’s security guards?
How did they end up like this?
“Sir.”
Seeing their master, the two guards, sniffling and teary-eyed, quickly relayed the news that a violent intruder had hurt them and was still inside.
“What!”
Cain Linton paled, but instead of rushing in urgently, he turned to Long, “Brother, what do you think?”
He didn’t know martial arts. There was no use in rushing in.
Now he had to rely on Long. After all, he was a man under the God of War, and St. Sunday now respected the God of War’s commands.
“Rest assured, St. Sunday is now under the control of the God of War. We cannot allow such a petty intruder to wreak havoc in someone else’s house. I will handle this.” Long immediately made a call.
He had taken so much money from Cain Linton, it was only fair that he exerted some effort. As for whether he could solve this trouble… What a joke, how could he possibly not solve it? He was a man working for the God of War. As long as he revealed his identity in front of that person, even if that person was a great fighter, they would not dare to resist. When the time came, it would be his turn to deal with that guy.
Just a few minutes later, several vans appeared outside, and some ruffians dressed in uniform got off. These were all his old comrades.
They were now employees of a security company under Evelyn Hall.
“Brothers, the troublemaker is inside. We are now the God of War’s men. We can’t disgrace the God of War, can we? Let’s go in and take down that guy to gain favor with the God of War.”
With a wave of Long’s hand, his old comrades shouted enthusiastically, each armed with an iron rod, looking fierce.
How could they not be fierce? They were doing this for the God of War.
“Let’s go.”
Long lit a cigarette and walked in with his comrades and Cain Linton, looking smart in his suit and boots. Cain Linton felt more courageous, after all, a favored person of the God of War was by his side.
He thought to himself: “This person really has no eyes, daring to provoke the Linton family. He is courting death. No matter who you are, it’s useless now. St. Sunday is now the God of War’s world.”
He felt very confident.
He walked briskly, entering to see a peculiar scene – a large group of security guards lying on the ground wailing, and two women squatting on the ground, washing clothes.
The scene was exceptionally strange.
“You are… washing clothes?” Cain Linton was stunned.
“Dear!”
“Dad.”
Upon seeing Cain Linton, Marie Linton and Hanh immediately broke into tears. They had finally, finally seen their savior. When had they ever had to wash clothes? Never, but today they were forced to do so.
It was very humiliating.
“Dear, quickly get rid of this guy. He actually made your beautiful wife and precious daughter wash clothes. Tell me, is this something a human would do?” Marie Linton pleaded.
“You!”
Only then did Cain Linton turn to look at Robin, realizing that this person was the culprit. He instantly said: “I will count to three, and you will kneel down for me immediately. Otherwise, I will show you how powerful I am.”
“One.”
“Two.”
“Three.”
After he had counted to three, Robin did nothing, only looking at Cain Linton as if he was an idiot.
This angered Cain Linton, who immediately showed a ruthless expression: “Let me tell you, I have friends backing me, a favored person by the God of War. The God of War, you should know him, right? St. Sunday is now under his control. If you dare to offend him, be prepared to die without a burial place.”
“Is that so? I really want to see who this favored person by the God of War is.”
Robin’s eyes were somewhat strange.
At this moment, Long swaggered in, puffing out a cloud of smoke: “You’ve really angered the wrong person. You should surrender before… before… before… the God of War.”
His words abruptly stopped.
Because Long had clearly seen Robin’s face, he was suddenly scared to the point of falling to the ground, his legs going weak. The cigarette in his hand hadn’t even been extinguished and fell onto his palm.
But he couldn’t care less about that now.
Because he had seen the God of War, Kisia, the God of War.
Oh my!
