Chapter 310: Evelyn Hall’s First Encounter with Robin

Book:The Warlord Is Back Published:2024-5-31

Robin stood up, preparing to leave.
“Little brother, where are you going?” Kim, upon seeing Robin about to leave, promptly asked.
“I’m looking for your Hall family’s young lady.” Robin waved his hand and then left. It’s better to teach a man to fish than to give him fish. Giving these people money would rather not be good. Moreover, Robin couldn’t possibly be here all the time. It was better to find that young lady from the Hall family. In this world, there aren’t many people who genuinely care for these children and are truly benevolent. To save one person is to save one.
Bird family’s estate. This estate wasn’t like other estates. The people coming and going were all muscular men with tiger tattoos on their bodies, each holding a cigar, exuding an overwhelming aura. They looked exactly like underworld figures – or maybe they were.
“Hey, who are you? Don’t you know this is Tiger Gang’s territory? Stay away!” At the entrance, a broad man in a suit, wearing sunglasses, and with a face full of stubble, saw them and immediately pointed a finger to scold them. His rebuke was unmerciful, and it didn’t need to be. After all, this was Tiger Gang’s territory, and the Tiger Gang was one of the most powerful forces in St. Sunday at the moment. That was their confidence.
However, with just a glance from Robin, Jeff Reczek stepped forward.
“Kid, you dare to step forward, looking for death?” The man in the suit cursed. But the next second, he could no longer curse because Jeff Reczek had already reached him, stretched out a hand, and strangled him, making him unable to speak.
“You’re too noisy.” Jeff Reczek’s eyes were filled with murderous intent. How dare he insult an officer, he was seeking death!
However, he didn’t kill this guy immediately because Robin had a question.
“Where is Evelyn Hall?” Robin asked.
“I… don’t… know…” The man was quite tough. He clenched his teeth, even if he was suffocating, his eyes bulging red, but he stubbornly refused to speak.
However, Jeff Reczek smirked. Suddenly, the man in the suit had a bad feeling. He pulled the man in the suit closer and whispered in his ear: “If you don’t tell, you die; if you do tell, you also die. In Kisia, no one who has insulted the War God has lived to tell the tale. If you don’t tell, your death will just be more miserable.” The voice sounded like a demon’s, causing the man in the suit’s pupils to contract. What made him shrink back was not Jeff Reczek, but the mention of the War God!
Unfortunately, there was no time for him to react slowly. Jeff Reczek dragged the man into a nearby corner. Soon after, a scream was heard, and then, the scream suddenly disappeared.
Before long, Jeff Reczek returned.
“Sir, she’s on the third floor,” Jeff Reczek reported.
That man must have been dealt with. Insulting the War God was seeking death!
“Let’s go.” Robin walked in.
This Tiger Gang was no good. The head of the main gang and the first big boss parallel with the Roach family, especially in St. Sunday at this moment, did all kinds of evil. Killing them was just killing them.
“Who’s there!” Before long, the security guards inside the estate discovered Robin and Jeff Reczek.
At this point, Robin had already put on a mask. A mask with fang-like features. It was particularly terrifying.
Robin said nothing, but among the security guards, someone recognized Mr. X and immediately shouted, “This is Mr. X, the one who killed Young Master Roach, kill him quickly, there’s a reward of ten million!”
Ten million! As soon as these words came out, the eyes of the security guards on the scene turned red. Ten million! Perhaps they couldn’t earn that much in their lifetime. But now, this ten million was laid out in front of them, just waiting for them to take it.
“Kid, you’ve fallen into our hands today.” One of the security guards laughed heartily, swinging his baton and rushing forward. The other security guards looking at Robin, their eyes shining like they were looking at a treasure. Therefore, this group of people rushed up.
And Robin, looking at these people, uttered two words. “Fools.” He then continued to walk inside.
And those guys, of course, were dealt with by Jeff Reczek. These people, who actually regarded him as a delicacy, were truly seeking death.
“Heh.” Jeff Reczek sneered, twisting his neck: “You’re finished.”
A while later, the place was a mess, and Robin had already gone upstairs.
“Sir, Oliver isn’t here today, he went to the Roach family,” Jeff Reczek reported.
“Went to the Roach family? That’s lucky.” Robin smiled.
This Oliver was indeed lucky. If he had run into him this time, Robin might have killed him on the spot. But since he wasn’t here, it could wait. They would deal with it later.
Soon, they arrived on the third floor. There were two guards at the door who were taken out by Jeff Reczek before they could react. In reality, having to deal with two little soldiers like this was somewhat beneath the first madman of the military.
However, this time, he was acting as Robin’s bodyguard. From this perspective, this was his duty.
Robin pushed the door and entered, immediately pausing slightly. He saw a woman tied to the bed, each hand and foot bound by a rope, spread out in a big character shape. Tied so tightly that she couldn’t move. Her eyes were covered with a blindfold, and her mouth was stuffed with a cloth ball.
Hearing someone enter, the originally quiet woman suddenly struggled, but no matter how much she struggled, she couldn’t break free, couldn’t speak, and couldn’t see anything.
Swish. Robin cut the four ropes with his military knife.
Immediately, the woman fell onto the bed, then quickly removed the cloth from her mouth and the blindfold from her face. Having been bound for a night, she was momentarily blinded by the light and couldn’t see clearly who was before her.
However, she acted quickly. She pounced forward, grabbing a hand and started biting.
“Sir!” Jeff Reczek’s face changed dramatically, his military knife was about to swing down. How dare she hurt his master!
However, Robin waved his hand, stopping him. He then relaxed his muscles a bit, and the energy flowing inside his body also receded, so her bite wouldn’t make her mouth bleed.
After biting for a full minute, Robin slowly said, “Have you bitten enough? I’m here to save you.”
At this moment, Evelyn Hall gradually regained her senses. Last night, Oliver wanted to force himself on her, but she fiercely resisted. In the end, she bit him, which infuriated Oliver and he had her hung up. He wanted to starve her into submission, that’s why she looked like that just now.
So, the moment she was let down, her first instinct was to bite again. She would never, ever, submit to Oliver. But now, she realized that the person she was biting didn’t retaliate or insult her, but was speaking to her in a very gentle voice, like the voice of a family member.
This made her slowly lift her head to look at Robin. This was the first time Evelyn Hall saw Robin. She would never forget him in this lifetime: the face carved like a knife, eyebrows sharp like swords, a pair of eyes full of sharpness.
