“Honda? How could there be any Honda? You must be mistaken,” Zak Cox shook his head.
‘Honda? A piece of junk can catch up with my Ferrari, how is that possible?’
Until suddenly a woman’s voice came from beside him, “Zak Cox, we will be waiting for you at North Bay. You can take your time and don’t rush.”
Zak Cox was stunned. He sure could recognized it was Nina Houry’s voice and was so confused when he turned his head to see a Honda with Nina Houry sitting in the passenger seat.
“Goodbye Zak Cox,” Nina Houry waved at Zak Cox before turning excitedly to Robin Bailey and saying, “Go faster and leave them far behind so they won’t look down on me anymore.”
“Okay.” Robin Bailey stepped on the gas again, made a turn, went straight out and completely overtook that Ferrari.
“F**k!” Zak Cox cursed directly.
What did he even see just now? A Honda actually overtook his Ferrari? What’s going on here? That’s a Honda; this was definitely a Ferrari – an authentic one.
“I don’t believe it,” Zak Cox immediately glared fiercely then stepped on the gas again. Then like Hana Gill earlier they couldn’t see that Honda anymore.
Until an hour later…
Zak Cox finally arrived at North Bay driving his Ferrari only to see a Honda parked at the entrance among many luxury cars but it stood out glaringly at this moment.
“Zak Cox here you are,” Nina Houry got out of her car with Robin Bailey following behind her.
Zak’s mouth twitched unwilling to speak.
“Oh these three are your girlfriends right? They are all so beautiful; you’re really lucky Zack.” Then Nina Houry glanced briefly towards three girls who had gotten off Zach’s car – all fair-skinned beauties with long legs – she praised them slightly indicating her position. However, the three girls shook their heads and said, “No, we just happened to come here and we don’t have a car so Zak gave us a ride. We’re just friends with him.”
Friends!
They knew that Zak Cox had always wanted Nina Houry. They naturally knew what to say since he was like a living one hundred thousand bank check.
“Yes, we’re just ordinary classmates,” Zak Cox explained again with a slight smile. Then he waved his hand and said, “I’ll go in first and get things ready.”
After saying that, he went inside with the three girls.
Once inside, Nina Houry put her hand on Robin Bailey’s shoulder and pretended to vomit. “Did you see that? Disgusting. All three of them are his girlfriends but they still claim they’re just friends. Does he really think I’m stupid?”
Robin Bailey laughed.
Then Robin Bailey and Nina Houry went in too and found a place to rest since they had been driving for almost half an hour.
Another hour passed before others started arriving one by one.
Among them was Hana Gill who walked in with a gloomy face after losing the race against a Honda while driving her Porsche. She couldn’t understand why she lost even though she drove such an expensive car.
But no matter what happened, she lost fair and square.
She didn’t want to argue with Nina Houry but Nina wouldn’t let it go easily either. She sat down and loudly proclaimed, “Hana Gill! What happened to your Porsche? I’ve been waiting for you for two hours now!”
Everyone present heard her words clearly.
Hana Gill blushed deeply as she remembered how she had mocked both Nina Houry herself and her Honda at the school gate earlier on but never expected Honda could run so fast.
“Okay everyone calm down,” Zak Cox came out trying to mediate things politely.
“Well then I won’t argue anymore for the sake of Zak,” Hana Gill replied smugly as if she was the winner and she did not want to argue just for her generosity.
“Hmph! Shameless!” Nina Houry sneered and went back to her seat. However, at this moment, Zak Cox brought in a bunch of bamboo sticks and said to everyone, “In order to enhance our friendship, let’s play something exciting. North Bay only has rooms for two people to share, so we’ll draw lots to see who we’ll be staying with tonight.”
“Zak Cox, this is exciting.”
“I agree. I really like this idea.”
The boys immediately raised their hands in agreement.
If they could stay with the girls, it would be much better than staying with the boys. Maybe they could even get some chemistry going on with one of the girls.
“Me too…”
Some of the girls agreed.
As for the remaining girls, since so many people agreed, there was really no chance for them to refuse. Besides, they also had some fantasies in their hearts and wanted to stay with Zak Cox.
“You can start now; I will be the last one.”
Zak Cox handed out each bamboo stick from the bucket one by one. Some people’s faces changed dramatically after drawing a stick while others were very happy but overall it was okay.
Even if they ended up staying with someone they didn’t like that much it wouldn’t be for long anyway.
Gradually there were only a few bamboo sticks left in the bucket.
“Only two left now.”
Zak Cox came over to Robin Bailey and Nina Houry and handed them the bucket which still had about six bamboo sticks inside.
At this point Nina Houry whispered quietly to Robin Bailey, “There must be something fishy going on here.”
“Hmm.”
Robin Bailey nodded quietly as well.
This guy wouldn’t do all these things without any reason; he must have his sights set on Nina Houry. So he reached into the tube first – his movements were extremely fast but seemed casual – yet Robin Bailey roughly sensed what was inside.
There were six different bamboo sticks left.
Perhaps all six rooms were empty ones; no matter which room Nina Houry chose he would have a matching stick ready.
Then he could finally get what he wanted: staying together with Nina Houry because it was what they had agreed upon and she might not refuse at last! Zak Cox might even have what he want today!
‘Nice try! But too bad that I am here.’
