Chapter 212 There seems to be a Honda out there

Book:The Warlord Is Back Published:2024-5-31

A Porsche was driving on the Fifth Avenue with Hana Gill and her three girlfriends inside. They were chatting and laughing as they headed forward.
“Hana Gill, do you think we should wait for Nina Houry? With the speed of that car, she probably won’t arrive at North Bay for a long time.”
In the passenger seat sat a girl dressed like they were in the hottest summer ever. She asked intentionally.
“Yes, Nina Houry is really funny. We kindly offered her a ride with us but she refused us and wanted to take that Honda instead.”
“You’re wrong about that. That’s her car anyway; at least that’s the car she can afford.”
The other two girls also sneered.
After all, they were all friends of Hana Gill; and secondly, they all liked Zak Cox. That’s understandable. Zak Cox was so tall, handsome and rich; he could play piano so well too – he was almost every girl’s dream at Stillwater University.
They were crazy about Zak Cox but only Nina Houry ignored him completely.
Therefore, they all hated Nina Houry very much.
They just thought Nina Houry didn’t know how to appreciate Zak’s kindness.
“Wait for her? Okay then, since we are friends after all,” said Hana Gill with a slight smile on her lips as she stepped on the gas pedal and started speeding down this road while saying, “We’ll wait for her at North Bay.”
“Haha! Let that Nina Houry keep chasing us from behind!”
“When do you think she will arrive? I guess it will be two hours later”
Those girls behind them all agree one by one.
“Hmph! Stupid woman…”
Hana Gill smirked slightly with pride as today she finally completely crushed Nina Houry.
Then…
She seemed to hear a girl’s voice beside her, “Hana Gill, is there something wrong with your car? Even my Honda is faster than yours!”

When they heard what she said, Hana Gill and all the girls next to her froze instantly. Especially Hana Gill, she slowly turned her face to the side and saw that familiar, hateful face – it was Nina Houry. She muttered in disbelief, “No way… No way… How could you catch up with us… It’s impossible!”
That Honda caught up with them!
What the hell!
How was this possible!
Hana’s driving a Porsche, not some joke of a car. It cost over a million dollars and had far superior performance compared to that Honda. She had been stepping on the gas pedal all the way along.
However, she still got caught by that Honda.
What a joke.
But soon, all that was left behind was Nina Houry’s words: “Goodbye Hana Gill, I’ll be waiting for you in North Bay. Take your time.”
Nina Houry even emphasized the last three words.
It was obvious she said it just to piss off Hana Gill.
Robin Bailey glanced at her and when he saw Nina Houry seemed to have finally felt better, he broke into laughter. This girl wouldn’t let anyone bully her; if someone messed with Hana Gill then they would surely regret it.
Because today Robin Bailey was right here for her.
There was a loud bang as Hana hit the steering wheel hard while glaring at the Honda ahead of them. She gritted her teeth and said, “They actually used a Honda to pass me – what an insult!”
“Hurry up and catch him,” urged the rest of the girls. “They probably took advantage of your slow corners.”
“Let’s go!” shouted one of their friends from behind.
“Okay, I’m stepping on it,” replied Hana. She slammed down on the accelerator pedal and raced forward at breakneck speed but soon enough they lost sight of the Honda after several turns.
“Where did they go?” asked Hana confusedly.
“They might have already gone far away,” someone suggested from behind with a weak voice.
“How is that possible? That’s just a Honda!” exclaimed an incredulous Hana.
But then suddenly the girl in the passenger seat received a phone call and after she put down her phone, she said incredulously: Zara called saying that Honda has already overtaken her boyfriend’s car; now they are heading towards Zak Cox.”
“Really?” asked an astonished Hana driving while opening her mouth wide open in disbelief.
How long had it been since they were overtaken?
They had a total of six cars, and the girls were now in fifth place. They had just been overtaken by another car and were now in second place. Was this really a Honda? Or was it a supercar disguised as a Honda?
It was going too fast.
And just moments ago, she had said it was impossible. But now, this phone call felt like a slap to her face.
They really were getting left behind.
“Call Zak Cox right away and tell him that crappy Honda is tailing him.”
Hana Gill’s face turned gloomy.
A brand new Porsche worth millions of dollars being overtaken by a Honda worth only tens of thousands would be an embarrassment for her for the rest of her life.
However, if she knew that the same Honda had won the title of Deity of Mount Kory, maybe she wouldn’t feel so bad about it. Unfortunately, she didn’t know that at all.
At this moment, Hana fell into deep self-doubt.
Meanwhile at the front, Zak Cox and the three sexy beautiful girls drove in his Ferrari 458 while he was flirting with them as he drove along.
All three women were his girlfriends. They knew each other’s identities but didn’t mind since Zak gave them each one hundred thousand every month. To Zak Cox though, that amount was nothing since he was sole heir to his family’s group in Stillwater and he attended college simply to enjoy his privileged life! Well, that was at least until he met Nina Houry who refused him more than ten times without giving him any face. Yet these failures made him interested even more-the harder the whole thing was, the more he wanted that girl Nina Houry, whom he swore countless times to get no matter what it would take!
“Zak you’re amazing! You started the last but now you’re now the first! Your Ferrari 458 is really something.”
“How could it not be amazing? This Ferrari costs over two million dollars.”
The women’s praising words had make Zak Cox a bit carried away until one of the women answered a phone call and finally said, “Zak, they say that crappy Honda caught up with us.”
“What? Caught up with us? They must be driving so slow.” Zak Cox shook his head. “They’re friends with Nina Houry, so they don’t want to take it too seriously. But this time, I don’t have time to wait for them. I have some business to attend to in North Bay first. After we get there, we can wait for them for three or four hours…”
He had just finished speaking when a girl suddenly paused and pointed outside the window. “Zak, there’s a Honda outside.”
