“OK.”
Fiona licked her lips when hearing about the chocolate bar. Her father was poor and couldn’t expose his identity, so she had never had chocolate since birth.
Her eyes lit up.
“Um… His name is… Alas… Daddy didn’t tell me the name of that mister.”
Fiona thought for a long time, only to recall that Nick didn’t tell her Robin’s name. She always called him Mister.
Realizing she might not have the chocolate, Fiona pouted pitifully.
She tried her best to hold back her tears.
“Good girl. It’s alright. Thank you for answering me.”
Nina pulled a chocolate bar from her pocket and gave it to her. Fiona’s expression eased into joy. A bright smile blossomed across her face.
“Thank you, Miss.”
Nina rubbed her hair, thinking she was indeed adorable. “What a pity! I could nearly get to know who Mr. X was. Alas…” she grumbled to Melody.
Melody didn’t reply.
She was shocked just now as Robin’s identity had almost been exposed. She didn’t wish that to happen again.
Suddenly, Fiona was enlightened. “By the way, I heard others call him Mr. Bailey. His surname should be Bailey,” she added, narrowing her eyes to enjoy the chocolate bar.
“Bailey? Finally, I have a clue about Mr. X. His surname is Bailey, the same as my brother-in-law’s. Amazing!” Nina sighed.
Melody answered her inwardly, ‘He is your brother-in-law.’
She couldn’t hardly keep the secret, but she couldn’t betray her boss, as she couldn’t afford to offend him and his men.
Besides, Robin treated her kindly.
“I’ll tell my sister Mr. X’s surname is Bailey. She’s always curious about Mr. X’s full name. I finally got something useful for her.”
Nina smirked.
Melody knew something about Elise. When Mr. X invested 200 million dollars in helping her, the Houry family became curious about him. However, none had a clue at that time.
All they had known was Mr. X stayed in Eleanor Manor, and Melody was his liaison representative.
Nina didn’t ask Melody for Mr. X’s details directly as it was Melody’s job. As her close friend, Nina couldn’t ruin her career. However, she was surprised when she was allowed to visit Eleanor Manor.
Nina couldn’t help wondering why Mr. X had agreed.
‘Oh, shoot!’ Melody’s inner voice exclaimed suddenly.
Mr. X’s surname had been exposed. However, Nina was rational and supported Mr. X, so Melody didn’t think she would spread the secret.
She would tell Elise only.
Melody wondered if Elise would figure out her husband was Mr. X, who was well-known in Stillwater and always sheltered Landview Inc.
Melody guessed not.

Holland House.
The Holland family was holding a condolence ceremony tonight. Many people were invited, including celebrities and wealthy businessmen.
In the hall, a coffin was placed in the middle. Several candles were lit. Many Hollands wore black suits or dresses, sobbing while surrounding the coffin.
One mid-aged man with a dignified look stood in the hall, his face dark.
He was Jasper Holland, the current master of the Holland family, Layton’s father.
Several men were standing behind him.
“Master, everything’s settled. We’ll take action tonight,” one man said to Jasper, bowing his head.
“Good.”
A murderous look flashed through Jasper’s eyes.
His oldest son was killed the previous day. The Holland family didn’t make any move for a whole day. Everyone in Stillwater discussed this incident and wondered what they planned to do. No one expected them to take revenge tonight.
The Meyer family had been destroyed, so the Hollands didn’t make a reckless move. Instead, they had been well prepared.
They were determined to kill Mr. X tonight, making their family famous again in Stillwater.
A wealthy man with a big belly drifted to Jasper while shaking his goblet.
“Sorry for your loss, Mr. Holland. Mr. Layton Holland is young and talented. He’s just returned from abroad but hasn’t applied his competence to his career and developed the Holland family. What a pity!” he sighed.
Jasper didn’t react, but inwardly, he hated the fat man to the core. Since the Holland family didn’t take any action today, others thought they feared Mr. X.
If none mentioned it, it would be fine.
However, once a person started the topic, others would mock them.
“Mr. Holland’s oldest son has been killed, but the Holland family doesn’t do anything. Do they fear the so-called Mr. X? The Holland family is one of the most influential families in town. Now they become cowards.”
“I thought the Holland family would kill Mr. X immediately. That’s really surprising. TSK. TSK.”
“The Holland family’s offspring will be disappointed. They are one of the most influential families in Stillwater. However, their heir has been killed, and no one dares to respond. The Holland family will be doomed. Alas…”
Other guests mocked and discussed the incident immediately.
Most of them were the Holland family’s opponents, watching the fun.
“Stop making wild guesses, friends. Our Holland family will avenge Layton and eliminate Mr. X. Why should we fear him? He’s nobody.”
The next second, a man’s voice sounded behind the crowd, “Are you talking about me?”
“Argh!”
The fat man was baffled as the voice sent a chill down his spine. He turned around slowly and saw the legendary mask. His legs weakened, and he collapsed to the floor.
He wet his pants.
“Mr. X is here!”
Other guests were shocked, looking at Mr. X, who wore a black coat out of a white shirt. He stood upright, his face covered by the mask.
It was Mr. X’s typical sign.
However, unlike the last time, Mr. X wore a pair of white gloves. They dazzled others’ eyes on the scene.
They couldn’t help wondering if he wore the gloves to avoid his hands being bloodstained.
Mr. X’s appearance panicked the guests, who felt invisible stress in the air.
“Mr. X is now the toughest man in Stillwater. He has destroyed the Winfield and the Meyer families in a row. He only stands there without doing anything, but none of us dare to move.”
People who had only heard about Mr. X finally met him in person. At that moment, they experienced horror.
