“Bang!”
Henry’s body was smashed onto the floor. He spat several teeth with blood. However, he was in a daze, still wondering why he had been defeated.
He used the boxing art that he was proud of the most.
He had practiced it for many years and won against many kickboxing opponents. However, he was simply defeated. Henry couldn’t believe it but had to.
He had to admit he had lost utterly.
“Henry?”
Percy checked on Henry, who lay on the floor with a baffled expression and couldn’t believe his eyes. His cousin was the kickboxing champion. Percy couldn’t help wondering what was happening as Henry had been defeated by just a punch.
“Hurry! Get up, Henry! How can the old bastard defeat you?” Percy crawled to him in reluctance, ready to help Henry up.
However, Robin glanced at them and remarked, “Three of his ribs were broken. You’d better send him to the hospital immediately. Or he’ll be dead.”
“What?”
Percy’s jaw slacked.
“He is… right…”
Henry panted while speaking, pain flashing through his eyes. He could feel his ribs were broken. However, he didn’t know the exact number, but Robin did.
“Ah… I’ll send you to the hospital…”
Percy was also injured, so he was about to help Henry leave. Before going away, he threatened Robin, “It’s not the end yet, brat.”
He remembered this grudge and decided to take revenge.
“Stop!” Robin said.
Nick blocked their way with a determined look.
“Want to kill us? You dare not let us leave, huh? Coward!” Percy snorted.
Although he looked solemn, he panicked inwardly, regretting threatening Robin earlier. He had watched too many soap operas.
He should have left in silence.
After saying the words, he didn’t think he could leave.
“Well… Mr. Bailey, We…”
Percy softened his tone and was about to apologize.
Robin suddenly stood up, strode to them, and said, “You must compensate this stall for what you’ve broken. Three times the original price. If not, I’ll break another three ribs of you.”
Then he turned away with Nick.
“OK…”
Percy breathed a sigh of relief, feeling lucky that Robin didn’t kill them.
However, Henry gritted his teeth reluctantly, “That guy has never taken us seriously since the beginning.”
He boiled up with anger as no one had the guts to ignore him.
However, the cruel fact told him he had failed to win against Robin’s subordinate.
After Robin and Nick left, they bid each other farewell and parted. Nick wanted to take his daughter to Eleanor Manor and stay with Robin, which would be the safest.
From then on, he could continue to work for Robin.
Robin returned to Eleanor Manor.
“Welcome back, Mr. Bailey.”
Melody bowed at him.
Nobody else was in the villa, as Robin disliked having servants or maids. Usually, Melody prepared meals for him as his representative and chef.
Melody didn’t mind as she wasn’t busy.
Meanwhile, Robin didn’t have a company for her to operate.
“Mr. Bailey, uh… Nina wants to drop by,” Melody said after hesitation.
She knew she shouldn’t have mentioned it to Robin. After all, she worked for him and couldn’t take her friends to his house. She would be too unprofessional and senseless.
However, her friend was Nina, Robin’s sister-in-law. Melody guessed Nina might be an exception.
“No problem. This only happens this evening,” Robin agreed.
Nina got along with him. Besides, he decided to call Nick and Jeff to hang out in Dillon’s bar.
Suddenly, Robin received a call. He checked the caller ID and saw Doug’s name.
“Hello, Doug?” he swiped to answer.
“Boss… I was set up… Our bar has been surrounded… Argh!” Doug said hoarsely.
Behind him, Robin faintly heard cries in pain.
“I’ll be there soon.”
Robin frowned.
He could tell something urgent must have happened. Doug wouldn’t have called him unless he had been cornered.
The bar was in danger.
Robin thought of his friends, Dillon and Emma. Immediately, he called Nick, “You are on board now. Go to No. 234 Donald Street, a bar named Revitalization. Hurry!”
“Yes, General Bailey,” Nick answered.
Robin called Jeff while striding out. “Revitalization. Ten minutes. Remember to do things only according to my commands,” Robin emphasized at the end.
Jeff was short-tempered. After Instructor attacked Robin, Jeff killed many foes to vent his anger. Robin was afraid he would fight against Nick as soon as they met.
Therefore, he reminded Jeff that military orders were imperative and couldn’t be disobeyed.
Without his commands, Jeff couldn’t make a move.
Ten minutes later.
Usually, college students loved hanging out in Revitalization, which was more peaceful than other bars. However, no guests were in today except men with tattoos.
They sat and stood in the bar, entirely surrounding it.
Inside the lobby, several men lay on the ground, all injured. The rest stood protectively beside Doug.
Holding a melon knife, Doug was smoking. Several cuts from broadswords were on his exposed arms.
“Shameless bastard, Scar! How dare you play such dirty tricks and set me up!”
Dough exhaled, lifting his eyebrows at Scar in irritation.
Scar didn’t reply. However, Rory stood up. Wearing glasses and a long, black robe, he looked evil. “Dirty tricks? They are our strategies. Forget it. You are uneducated. It’s useless to explain it to you. To be blunt, you all are doomed this time.”
Anyone seeing him could tell he was a villain.
“Shit!” Doug cursed.
Earlier, he received a call and was told something had happened to one of their businesses. Doug sent more than half of his subordinates over.
However, it turned out to be a diversionary measure. After he sent his men away, Scar and Rory led several hundred subordinates to the bar.
They surrounded the bar and fiercely fought against Doug’s rest men.
Although Doug took a drag of the cigarette and looked calm, he had a bad hunch this time. After looking back at Dillon and Emma, he said determinedly, “We’ll protect you guys. You should leave now.”
