“You are good at fighting,” the bald man sneered.
Then he ordered again, “Go get him together. Even if you all just get on him, he’ll be so dead.”
“Chop him to death!”
His men rushed towards Jeff again.
The next second, miserable cries were heard. In the beginning, the bald man looked calm. Holding his arms, he watched the scene expectantly.
Gradually, his expression changed.
His expectant look faded and changed into surprise. Soon, he looked stiff.
Bang!
Another of his men fell to the ground. Jeff clapped. “Thirty four now. Each of you has four ribs broken. You can stay in the hospital for two months. I have been so nice to you.”
“You!”
The rest gangsters flinched in fear.
In the beginning, more than 50 gangsters were attacking Jeff. However, only a dozen were left. The rest had been knocked over.
Jeff didn’t bluff. All the gangsters lying on the ground had exactly four ribs broken.
“Damn it!”
The bald man’s face became livid. He strode over with an iron bar. “Get away! All losers! How can you fail to beat just one man up?”
His men made their way for him.
“Mr. Bailey, what should I do with this guy? He’s the leader. Shall I kill him or break his ribs? Any suggestions?” Jeff asked Robin.
As a soldier, he was used to killing someone.
“Keep it down. You broke his men’s four ribs. Break his eight ribs, then. After all, he’s the leader,” Robin ordered.
“Roger that.”
Jeff cocked his head aside and warmed his neck up. “Those gangsters are too lame. I guess you can hang on a bit longer.”
“Humph? Me?” the bald man laughed.
“I knew why that yellow-haired guy left. He failed, definitely. I’m not a loser like him. I’m Tush, and I won a first prize in free combat. Since I became the leader of this district, no one could win against me.”
“Why are you holding an iron bar, then?”
“You are not worth my punch.”
Jeff shook his head. “You are wrong. When a lion hunts for a rabbit, it will try its best. That’s what Mr. Bailey taught me.”
“Shut the fuck up!”
The bald man became impatient. He sped up and approached Jeff. Then he found an ideal position to attack Jeff.
Jeff and Robin could tell from his moves that he had a good foundation.
The next second, the bald man threw a punch at Jeff to attack him from the left. Meanwhile, Jeff also punched him. The bald man laughed, “You fell into my trap!”
His punch was just a deceptive movement.
His right hand held the iron bar and smashed it on Jeff at the same time. When he almost hit Jeff, a ferocious look appeared on the bald man’s face.
However, his expression froze the next second.
So was his iron bar.
‘Shit!’ he inwardly cursed.
When he slowly bowed his head to check, Jeff had thrown his punch at his chest. Waves of pain surged.
The bald man knew his ribs were broken. Probably, eight of them were broken, as Jeff declared.
“I liked your idea, but it’s too naive in my presence. It only works for kids.”
After Jeff finished speaking, the bald man couldn’t hang on any longer but fell to the ground. Jeff looked around at the rest gangsters.
Swoosh!
All of them flinched in fear, realizing how horrible Jeff was.
In a blink, he managed to defeat all of them and the bald man, their leader. They couldn’t help wondering if Jeff was a monster.
“Don’t panic. You’d better call the ambulance. Or I wonder if your friends and boss can survive,” Jeff suggested.
“OK. OK.”
The rest of the gangsters nodded vigorously.
Then Jeff walked to Robin. “Mission accomplished, Mr. Bailey.”
“Send my friend and this young man to the hospital.”
Robin looked back at Dillon and could tell he was almost dying.
Then they all went to a hospital. After going through the general checkups, Rio and Dillon were sent to the wards. A doctor told Robin, “Rio Hart has minor wounds and will be fine soon. Dillon James has been injured severely. He needs to rest for at least 10 days.”
“OK. Thanks, Doc.”
Robin nodded and walked the doctor to the door.
He returned to Dillon’s bed.
“Robin, you came to me for something, I’m sure. I don’t think you want to borrow some money from me. After all, you are so competent now. You’ve become so awesome after these years.”
Dillon smiled but looked bitter as he had lost too much blood.
“Yes, I wanted to ask you for a favor, Dillon. My wife has a project where she is going to develop a huge piece of land, so she needs engineers. I thought of you,” Robin answered.
“No problem, Robin. After resting for a few days, I can leave the hospital with a walking stick. After all, I’m good at drafting.”
Dillon was still self-confident.
After all, he obtained a doctor’s degree from the University of Aappitat and was highly adept at drafting. Only a few of his college mates could be compared to him in this field.
“By the way, do you need me to get your bar back?” Robin asked.
He could tell the bar had a deep impact on Dillon.
“Forget about it.”
Dillon shook his head. He wasn’t a greedy man. This time, he owed Robin a considerable favor, who paid the 600, 000-dollar debt for him.
Dillon didn’t have the heart to let Robin get the bar back, although he was reluctant to lose his bar.
“Well…”
Emma, who was with them all the time, raised her hand and asked in a weak tone, “May I repurchase the bar for you? I have money. If so, can you become the bar manager?”
“You?”
Robin looked at her. “Why? Don’t you need money and you want to wire them back home for your younger brothers?”
“If I use the money, it’ll be gone sooner or later. I decided to make money from it,” Emma answered thoughtfully.
She had thought twice and realized this was a good chance. She could develop the bar, and have a career, and a better life.
“What do you think, Dillon?” Robin asked.
“No problem,” Dillon agreed.
After all, he had put a lot of effort into this bar. If any others occupied it, he would feel reluctant.
“All right. I’ll help you guys solve the last problem,” said Robin.
He exchanged a glance with Jeff and left the ward.
