Kayden’s POV
I was about to pull off the iron chains that was binding the gates of the small house when a scent came to me, it was the scent of Amelia.
I moved backwards a little bit and if it was the commotion of the moment that caused it but Amelia did not even get an idea of the fact that I was outside.
She rushed out of the house with a small bag by her side, she was about to run off when I caught her leg and threw her against the wall, slamming her hard against the hard wall.
The wall gave way under the force I had slammed her and broke. I moved to her before she could rise up at all and slammed her against the floor once more.
I pushed her to the sandy floor and she hardly even bothered to struggle, perhaps she simple knew that it was useless to struggle when it was someone like me that was holding you down in place.
I pressed my claws into her neck and grinded it against the spot hard, making blood splatter out, I knew that Davis would be feeling this and the reason why he refused to come out still yet was quite mysterious to me.
I kicked her away with my leg and she rolled on the sands with a loud growl, her body staining the white sand.
“Since your mate does not want to come rescue you little lady, you are useless. I will just get rid of you and then get rid of your mate.” I said to her after shape shifting to human for a second.
I pulled her with my hands and threw her away roughly, her body hit the gates causing a very loud bang, she fell to the floor and vomited blood as she shape shifted into human.
I shape shifted back into wolf as I pushed her away and walked into the place to see the one I had business with originally.
Davis’ POV
I could feel all the pains that Amelia was feeling but then I still could not go out there to save her, it would be useless to do such, it would be equal to killing the both of us.
I was still set on setting the bomb, I was setting it around a suit that I planned to. wear over my very own body and it was what I was going to use to get back Amelia from Kayden.
I would threaten to blow the entire place up if he did not let go of her, the bomb was like my only shot and I could not let go of it to go and act rashly.
I was finally done with the setting of the bomb even though by the time I was done, Amelia was feeling very weak, I could feel it already, with such weakness, she could hardly stand up and it was also affecting me too.
I stood up and put on the suit, I was about to start walking out when the door to the room where I was in bursted open, it was Kayden just like I knew if would be but still the fact that I was expecting it did not do anything to reduce the tension that I felt immediately.
I gulped in tightly and held onto the remote that would detonate the bomb tightly.
“Hi Alpha Kayden.” I said to him and he blinked, shape shifting into a human.
His eyes narrowed as he saw the bomb on my body.
“Yes you are seeing right Alpha Kayden, I am going to blow up this entire place, we are all going to die, you, me, Samantha, James, Cassie, we are all going to die.”
“And what would you have gained?” He asked me.
“What would I gain if you guys win and make I and Amelia have the bad ending then?”
“Vilians never have good ending, only the good ones do.”
“Oh, well I am going to give that a little bit of change. How about no one have a good ending and we all have sad endings? Isn’t that super fair that way? That should be nice!” I laughed hysterically.
“Do not do anything more stupid Davis and hand over that remote to me.”
“And you really do think that I would do that Kayden! Never! I will never do that and if you try to struggle with me in here Kayden I will make sure I detonate the bomb and then everyone is dying.” I threatened him and saw him in a perplexed mood.
“Your conditions?” He requested.
“Nice! Businessman tactics never leaves the man.” I said to him with a sadistic smile on my face.
“My conditions are very easy, very simple Kayden, let me have Amelia. You have it all anyways, you have your love, you have friends now, you have destroyed the works that I worked for with my entire life! Just let I and Amelia go!” I said to him and he stared at me intently.
“I and Amelia’s life in exchange for the life of everyone fighting out there, including your darling Samantha.” I said to him, making sure that I called out Samantha, his obvious weakness.
“Amelia is outside.” he said to me and began walking outside but without turning back, well there was no trust between the both of us anymore.
We were both watching out for any movements from the other person but there was none from him and I did not make any move either, I was not going to foil my escape plan with Amelia.
I got outside and rushed towards Amelia that was on the floor, almost lifeless, her battered body shocked me totally. I was expecting the pains to be much but just not this much.
“Amelia!” I called out to her but there was only a weak growl.
“Amelia.” I called again, harder and louder this time around as I turned her battered body to face me.
“Da… Davis.” she managed to make out my name.
“I…. I… I love you…. I love you…. love you so…. so much.” her eyes dimmed as she said those words while mine too dimmed but not in death but in anger and in tears.
Amelia was slipping away from my hands, she was dying and there was like nothing that I could do for her other than watch her slip into death’s wicked hands.
“Amelia… Amelia, you can’t let go of me!!” I yelled and shook her body but there was no response from her nor did she let out any growl anymore.
She was dead! My Amelia was dead! Gone away from this world forever!!
“Amelia!!!!” I screamed in pains wishing that I had come out earlier maybe I would have been able to do something about it if I had come out earlier.
“Amelia!!!”
