Samantha’s POV
I and Kayden approached the room with a frown still on Kayden’s face, he was definitely annoyed with the fact that he himself, had to go meet someone like Marie in her very own room.
“Just this once.” I pouted.
“Alright, you’ve brought me here already. Tell me, can I go back? No” he replied me and I giggled softly.
“We are here.” I mouthed as Kayden pushed the door open to a quite shocking sight, it was Davis kissing Marie like there was no tomorrow.
The kiss was so intense and they were so engrossed in it that they did not even notice out presence in the room.
I stared at them a bit more, my jaw slightly apart and exchanged glances with Kayden.
“What the heck is going on here?!” Kayden roared and the kissing duo immediately pulled away from each other.
“A… Alpha Kayden.” they both stuttered.
“You might want to explain to me what is going on here!” Kayden asked once more, his voice suddenly switching from the soft to an authoritative voice.
“We… We are… ”
“Marie, who are you exactly? What is your very aim?” Kayden asked, doing a small walk towards the both of them.
“I… I am Marie, I am Samantha’s friend” she replied, with her voice shivering with fear.
“What about you Davis? What were you doing?”
“I… I am sorry Alpha Kayden that I had to flirt with someone under your protection. I seek for your forgiveness, I was… I was just unable to control my desires at the moment.” he replied Kayden but the look on Kayden’s face told that he did not believe that at all.
“You can leave Davis.” Kayden ordered and I wondered why Kayden was making that decision.
To me now, it was quite obvious yet again why Marie took a picture of I and James? It had to be from Davis too but then when did Marie and Davis meet?
“This is still so strange.” Cara said to me.
“So mysterious, is this going to have an end?” I asked her.
“Hopefully it is going to have.” Cara replied me.
“A… Alpha Kayden.” Marie stuttered.
“I… I am sorry I gave in to his advances so quickly. I…. ”
“I do not care who you actually give in to.” Kayden cut her off and just watched on.
“Did you take this picture.” his voice was compelling, he pointed his phone out to her.
“I… I… I did not.” Marie denied quickly.
“Really? Who else could have done it then?”
“I really do not have any idea Alpha Kayden.” Marie pleaded immediately.
“What are you going to do?” I asked him in a mind link after a while.
“Getting her thrown into a room and locked up.” Kayden replied me and just at that moment, some guys moved into the room.
“Wh… what are you going to do?” Marie stuttered.
“Get her locked up, I will determine what I will do to her later on.” Kayden said and the men bundled Marie up.
“Sa… Samantha! What are you doing?! You can not watch this being done to your own friend?!” She yelled as she was taken out of the place.
I sighed softly and turned to face Kayden.
“What do you intend on doing next?” I asked him.
“Come to think of it, why don’t we get you to recover your memories?” He asked me and I nodded excitedly.
“But how are we supposed to do that?”
“Well, we can simply revisit the place where you were taken to.” he replied.
“Nice idea! Has Lauren been found?”
“Not yet, she must be hiding off into some bushes. I would have conducted the search myself but I can not leave you alone right now, that would not be wise to do” he said to me.
“He so much cares.” Cara cooed and I hugged Kayden.
“Thank you so much.”
“Thank you also for being with me always.”
Davis POV
I stood, frozen at the spot for moments. It was unbelievable that Amelia actually came into the mansion, yes, it was supposed to be quite safe for her since Alpha Kayden did not know her at all and her scent was not one he was familiar with and even more she had done a facial surgery to look like someone else, someone named Marie but it still did not seem safe enough especially when the person one is dealing with is Alpha Kayden who could kill her immediately.
“It would have been better if the both of us could be together.” Ted said to me and I sighed softly.
“To be sincere, I am pretty scared for Amelia, I just hope that she had not done something that will implicate her.”
“If she has not done so already, the best thing to do will be to find a way to move her out of this place or to find someone to replace her.” Ted suggested and I agreed with him.
My mind wandered of to what could possibly be going on in that room right now. Was Amelia in danger or was she still safe?
I was still thinking about the possibilities when some men passed me by with Amelia in their hands, they were holding her so roughly and I, at once knew that Amelia had already taken some steps, steps that had already implicated her to some extent.
“Hey! What are you doing?!” I asked, half yelling at the men that were holding her.
“Beta Davis!” They bowed.
“We are acting based on the Alpha’s words.” one of them replied.
“And still yet! Is this how you treat a woman? How in the world can you treat a woman like that?” I asked them.
“Carefully.” he ordered the others and Amelia was treated less harshly.
“We would have to go on now Beta.” he said and they proceeded.
Amelia turned back and I could see the sadness and fear in her eyes, she was scared of what would happen next.
“I promise you Amelia, I am going to save you. Wherever you are being taken to, you would spend less than three days there, I promise!”
